I have a number I would be willing to trade for certain minifigures :)

Re: Selling on Trademe. I used to import Lego from the website to sell. Many reasons but here are some! 1) Money tied up in lego is NOT a bad thing. If I got stuck with it, so be it. Its LEGO! 2) Profit was reasonable, starting at around 25% and going up to 200% depending on the item. 3) I would spend around 2000$ at a time. You could reasonably expect 3500$ return on that over a period of 6 months but realistically I would keep 1000$ for myself and sell the rest to pay for my habit. Now I work at Toyworld and have access to good staff discounts, so I limit my sales to that which I no longer need. (Conflict of interest otherwise!) The other reason for stopping was I could'nt bring myself to sell half the stuff! (I still have 8 chess sets in my cupboard.... Sigh) Also - Re: Free postage. That was excellent. I ordered some fairy keyrings and the collectible minifig sets to the value of 110$... Very cool!

Argh! *Goes back to the drawing board* Thanks for the thought anyway :)

I ordered several boxes in January (Collectible minifigures) Due date for release was June and September. This is a confirmation that Toyworld WILL be getting them in. Also of note, coming in are advent calendars, the Christmas Toyshop and several other goodies that I wont be saying more of :) BTW, Legoman, Welcome back! :) were you able to source the couple of things I was after? Cheers! Callum

I have some castle stuff I may be persuaded into selling.... I collect minifigures, so generally I do not include those with trades or sales however :) After anything in particular?
-
It is absolutely a fantastic deal. I have bought 5 so far, and will most likely return for a few more :) ,

The entry prize for entering the model competition. Note - they (Lego) are pushing this one be more child focused... so it is possible you older Moc'rs may not be eligible. The wee set is quite cute, but nothing unique. (and I now have a large number of them :) Callum

We have discussed that a few pages back :) Not sure on the answer however at this time. Cheers!

If you happened to spot a lego minifigure collection 5 (the pink one) or the fairy keychain... :) Have not heard back regarding the order to Lego.com yet...

Burninator?

I would be interested in the figures in the soldier fort :)
-
Odd Ron, the figures are exactly the same ... The only difference is the packaging (and you get a few more bits with the magnet set)

I have 8 Chrome Stormies if anyone had some decent trades.... Have PM'd the other chap re: ordering from S@H... there is a pink girl minifigure set with my name on it! :)
-
How do you mean Start, CF? entry forms are available now... Do you mean when the first judging will be?
-
No orders planned guys? I only have a couple of things I'm after. RE: Prizes for the Toyworld Comp, no news yet sorry. RE: Atlantis sets. They are absolutely awesome. Well. The mini-figures are - I haven't actually built any of the sets :)

Is anyone out there planning on making an order to shop@home anytime soon? I am after a few sets of Minifigs. :)
-
I have not seen the prizes yet, but should get them in around Thursday. :)

Just got back from work where I browsed the Lego trade Catelgoue... New Toy Story (with moneybox pig minifigures!) and Harry potter sets, as well as the Star Wars sets you have most likely heard about. The new Castle range is fantastic as well, and there appears to be a few Prince of Persia sets I have not seen before.

Well, I just got a second job at the Warehouse... I now have staff discount at TWL and Toyworld! just considerably less time to collect figures :/ In other news, I am about to complete my Agents minifigure collection. I just need these two. http://img.bricklink.com/M/agt015.jpg http://www.bricklink.com/ML/agt026.jpg Anyone able to help me out? Easy enough to find on Bricklink but would prefer not to pay 5$ postage each from the states! Can trade Star-Wars figs or pay for them with green. Cheers! (I am also after a few hundred more figures... so if you are looking to offload quantities, send me a pic! :) Callum

Hi all. currently closing a few open gaps in my Lego Minifigure Collection! I am looking for the following. Please note, they are destined for display rather than play so nothing chewed etc please! I only need one of each :) This is not ALL I am after, so if you have some of these, you may have other stuff I want too. Will gladly pay (Via Paypal, note I am not filthy rich, which is why I haven't grabbed them on Bricklink already!) or I can trade (I am located in New Zealand) My aim: To collect one of each Minifigure! I have added over a thousand figures to my collection in the last six months... the things we do to keep ourselves entertained! Also, a big thank you to those of you who have donated figures to my collection! Currently I have (but not limited to) 70+ Clones of all generations 10+ Shadow Troopers xx+ Ahhh.... lots of stuff? Thanks all!

I have for sale one of each of the new release Star Wars sets without figures if anyone wanted an extra... Will be listing on Trademe soon, but if anyone wanted to make an offer go for it. I am thinking of around 40% off retail, but make an offer. Brand new unmade still in the boxes (bags only opened to pillage the figures) Cheers! Callum

Officially March, but that can change, as some of the other release dates have. Cheers Callum

What is the funniest things you have heard said about Lego?
Callum replied to Sisco's topic in General LEGO Discussion
If I was to be technical, I would say it is not a word at all. :) People use BRB and "Sec" etc as a form of contraction or time saver. Legos is actually LONGER than the word Lego, so its use has no real purpose other than people being grammatically incorrect. Much like Sheeps or Deers Another one for me is when people call Kiwi Fruit "Kiwi" ... A Kiwi is a small flightless bird that you most definately do NOT eat with a spoon. Errr anyway, back on topic. Another funny thing someone said to me, after telling them I collect lego the other day is "Oh. Lego aye, I used to collect that when I was a child too!" Grr!
