How do we know the head decoration piece doesn't come off, like the clone troopers' antennae?

I sort of like short lived themes. I really loved the Rock Raiders theme. Short lived sub themes are also good. (I am thinking of the Ninjas, anyone remember them?) But I don't like short lived themes for their short lives, but for the themes themselves. I mean, I would be happy if Rock Raiders lived until today. So my overall vote would be 'I like long lived themes'. Nice topic. :)

A long time ago (I was 6 years old), in a galaxy far, far away (well, Billund), I went to Legoland! Can barely remember anything, but I would certainly like to go there (or any other Legoland) again. I voted for the one in California, because I have always also wanted to go to the US.

Cool. I read about all these stores opening in every corner of USA. (And Germany) When is TLC going to care about the rest of the world? No offense to anyone. I mean, they will eventually need official stores somewhere else too, right?

I'm afraid I don't have any. I can't count all the times I wished I had one. I have one now! I bought a big bunch of second hand LEGO at a garage sale, and I got one! I am so happy! Too bad I can't change my vote...

Perhaps. But that's what TLC do, they need space for newer sets. Maybe there will be more famous buildings released by LEGO. It would be wonderful if they never stopped selling the sets, though. Imagine still being able to pick up classic Castle sets.

It depends, really. If I build a set, I usually sit on the floor or by the dining table, only focused on the build! I MOC at my desk, sometimes with the computer on.

Thank you everyone! No need to worry any more! I have tried it now a couple of times (using MLCAD)- and it's certainly harder to use than Digital Designer- but with more parts. Another question: Which one of the different rendering tools (or whatever you call them- L3P, LPub, MLCAD, etc.) do you all prefer? MLCAD is the most appealing to me this far.

LEGO The Matrix? Wouldn't it be cool? Just imagine the minifigs! And there would be an APU! And maybe a huge Zion playset! And a sentinel...! And a playset featuring the battle scene just after Neo visits the Oracle, and thousands of Smiths keep attacking him. It would consist of Neo, a bar, at least 10 Smith minifigs, a park bench, and two small building where the agents can come from! Those ships the humans use use! Small set: Trinity + Motorcycle + Agent Just imagine...

Hi everyone, first off I must apologize if this is in the wrong sub-forum. LDraw seems to have a LOT more pieces available to build with that the official LEGO Sigital Designer software. I have finally downloaded LDraw (the complete file thing). I am no computer expert, and this installer seems to install heaps and heaps of programs on my hard drive, as well as changing (?) some files. So my question to you all is; is there anything that can possibly mess up things with my computer, and has anyone else out there had any problems whatsoever with LDraw? I easily get worried with these kinds of things... Someone please tell me what this POV-ray is and esactly what it does. I certainly do not inted to spam in any kind of way. Thank you all.

Star Wars impulse sets There have been City, Space Police and Castle impulse sets. Those little $4 sets with 1 minifig are great. There would be a Clone Trooper with a gun rack or a BFG, a Battle Droid with a STAP, and two astromech droids in their 'chargers', waiting to be deployed to repair some ship! Much like the promotions with daily mirror, except that these would be available everywhere, and not needed to be won! Other small sets with at least two [somewhat significant] minifigs Like the early sets such as the 7101 Lightsaber Duel, 7110 Landspeeder, 7128 Speeder Bikes or 7121 Naboo Swamp. Correctly Coloured TIEs WITHOUT BRIGHT BLUE! TIEs are too cool to be LEGOed with blue. I want redesigned TIEs without blue. Thank you.

Thanks everyone for the kind and constructive comments! As bricks are added to my collection, I will certainly fix the colours up and add more detail, to make it look more realistic. I really like the Ampy fig as well, she is based on a 'real' person. (My best friend.) 'Ampy' is her alter ego, or what you would call it. (Just as I "am" Torax.) You might not make it out from the pictures, but she also carries a sniper on her back.
