Star Wars: The Clone Wars: season 3 discussion
Forresto replied to Corvus's topic in Culture & Multimedia
After watching a newer trailer talking about the cinematic quality of the Clone Wars and I think I know how the squid ships . It looks like there will be a two pronged attack with Grevous leading a gigantic fleet to distract the orbiting fleet while Ventress lands her troops by attacking from the sea in a surprise attack. Ryloth was under seige from the Republic not the tinnies like last time. This time we see it from a different angle so I don't think it's that similar besides the same planet. Jar Jar is a Republic representive (Curse you Lucaaaaaaasss!) so doe'nt it make sense? Okay maybe not so much with Jar Jar but still...... They won't be competing with the seps this time around if I'm not mistaken. Jar Jar is only trying to convince him rather then impress him with a huge batlle spectacular.....I think. -
It was a good episode but it could have been much better. Everything about Coruscant is really great (loved Palpatine's speech on the giant flying billboard.) and they've done a really great job on it. This is personally how I would have had it go though: Have the main character be Lt. Tan Divo (from Senate murders. I liked him a lot since he's very different from the rest of the main cast) and maybe a new jedi trying to find a stolen lightsaber. Everything else could have been pretty much the same as the rest of the episode was good. I also really want to see a couple of those police droids to go with my Senate Commandos.

In KOTR the Sith empire had a lot of non force sensitive soldiers. They tecniquly were sith in a sense. -
This is great! I love the entire design of it, any chance of instructions? Also will we be seeing any Supers anytime soon?

Wikipedia says it is going to be split screen and they don't usually lie about Lego games so i'm assuming it's true. -

I don't know, I lke Luceno a lot for his two books "Labyrinth of Evil" which is the prequel to ROTS, and "Dark Lord: Rise of Dsrth Vader" the sequel to ROTS. In fact Labyrinth of Evil was really what they based the story off of for the battle of Coruscant in the 2d clone wars series. Somehtnig that may be important for continuity coming up in this series. -
My only wishlist is to someday get a Rancor and the cantina band aliens.

@indyman09 Thank you, I was actually thinking about making a little compartment in so it was being controlled by mini Daleks but never got around ot it. @Delta 38 Thank you. I actually had already made the mutant and finished it but then it got knowcked off by a cat and I could'nt find it then...... if you have a cat you'll know what i'm talking about @RepublicForces Now all I need to do is photoshop some flames coming from behind it and some skulls underneath @Tycho McKorley Well thank you @Batbrick Thank you very much. I agree with you and it's one of the gripes I personally have about it. However I only wantto get both sections attached so I probably won't be rebuilding it to much. I might though, you just never know with these things

It's possible but if you look at "Star Trek The Next Generation" the only reason it ended was because of budget concerns and that went on for 7 seasons. I think that as long as Lucas wants to keep it going then it will since he must be a billionare by now. We all know Lucas is known for his milking also. -

Well this whole Kamino arc is going to kill the brilliant writing she did on both the Kamionoans and the harsh brutality of Clone training. The Kaminoans freaking killed entire platoons if one soldier in it was "defective". The Kaminoans were pretty evil in the Republic Commando books and not at all sympethetic characters. I am still waiting to see the final charge of a Arc-170 squadron charging to their deaths, all singing "Vode An" in unison over their comlinks. Would be an epicemotional scene and something to really getus to care about these clones. -
Anyone notice the fez in the burrows set? It's being used as a piece on the fireplace!

Jar Jar's ote was one of the important votes in the sente vote for a greand army since he was represnting Naboo while Padme was gine. Palpatine swayed him to voteni favor and there's another reason Jar Jar is an antagonist.

I was eligible a year ago but decided to wait until I became a count to request for one. So here officially I request that since I have met the criteria (over 200 posts, over a year membership, last time I checked my post ratio, before the site change,it was in favor of Star Wars.) and would like a tag please

I think I've also been watching too much Star Trek of late. However I do think the original designer probably had some idea of what the colors stood for. Maybe he even had inspiration from The original Star Trek series, it would'nt really surprise me. Star Trek has had a huge cultural impact on many things (The military designs their command centers based off of the basic layout of the original USS Enterprise's bridge).

Well Thank you very much everybody with all this positive feedback! And I also got front paged @hewkii9 You know I reallywanted the gun section to be able to open and show a Kaled mutant inside. I even made one using a Jar Jar binks haed of all things as part of the breain I think that your suggestion on what I could use had gotten the cogs in my mind working fast now so thank you @Fires-storm It's a great episode @lightningtiger K-9 could be interesting.....hmmmm. The only problem I face is my cats getting jealous @ceroknight The new Daleks would be an fascinating build as the whole design is a little more complex. However i'm always up for a challenge

Well the nearest TRU near me is maybe two hours away.....That's terrific Thank you!

Now Frontpaged! This MOC is in honor of my one year being on Eurobricks and my 1000th post I have been working on this Dalek for some time now. I was originally inspired by numerous large scale daleks I have seen on Brickshelf. However one especially caught my eye and the technique for their base (the part with all the shperes) is what I used for mine. However everything else is of my original design and it is still a work in progress. In fact one problem i'm having is that I can't connect the top to the base. If anyone has any suggestions I would be most grateful. Interior Workings The Tecnique I used can be found here:Link The bottom section. The bottom of the top section. The Brickshelf Gallery: Link Thank you so much for viewing and all comments and criticisms are welcome

I really want that, maybe four of them
