This game has certainly got me intrigued! I'm anxious to see whats what. I'm throwing my name in the hat to see If I can partake in this game. If not, I'm still anxious to see how this game will unfold. This could be a hit! I also have no commitments this week that will keep me away for more then an hour. It's summer and I ain't got no job, so I'm able to play all day. -
B3G1 free deal on series 2 collectible minifigures. I was going for all Spartans and a pharaoh, but somehow two weight lifters snuck in their, I'm pretty upset.
-
Oh, okay, I see now, I just thought you meant you were gonna do another attempt because you Didn't put up all your photos.

I like the "sealed" atmosphere that the roof provides, is it attached by anything? or does it just rest on top? I also like the spying jack. As for the build, I think you should reposition Barbossa and Elizabeth at an angle so that they can be better seen in the photo. I also think you need to add more gold into the area, If you don't have anymore though, take the stacks of studs you have and spread them out over a greater area, I think it might look better and give the illusion of more gold. Can't wait to see the second attempt and good luck in the contest!

wow, It's already out, can't wait to see a review.

4736 or 4865 - Which is best for multiples?
sok117 replied to TheKingOfBuilding's topic in LEGO Licensed
This man is a genius! Just do what Vindice did, it sounds like a great plan to get the pieces you want without shelling out a load of cash. -
Thanks for the comments! And by popular demand, I've changed the first photo to an overall shot!

Wow! This is really cool, It looks so flawless that it is hard to imagine that it is made out of bricks . Once again rook, you've managed to amaze me! I especially like the accents of purple, and the glow in the dark bricks!

4736 or 4865 - Which is best for multiples?
sok117 replied to TheKingOfBuilding's topic in LEGO Licensed
After the arguments you've presented, the best idea would be to find out how many you can get, split it in half, and buy both in multiples! Or you could use 75% of your money for freeing dobby, and 25% of your money on Forrbiden forest. Or If you have enough money, Just buy more Hogwarts sets and Battle for Hogwarts! -
Thanks for the comments everyone! I wanted to put Will and Elizabeth where they are because there is a) no room for both of them plus ended pirates in the alcove and b) I wanted to create one central viewing area where you could see the duel in the forground and the breaking of the curse in the background. The undead pirates were added just to spruce it up a bit. I don't really see a problem with the flesh hands on Jack, I don't think it will make or break my chances for winning, and I'm not gonna re shoot everything just to switch yellow hands! I don't really care much for the positions of the characters, I don't mind If their a bit off, the main things I wanted to show in this moc were the treasure, and the water, and The duel between jack and Barbossa. So the placment of the two was just to make them seen. If they were off in the wings, again, you wouldn't be able to see it altogether. I think I used a sketch effect to create the shopped image, forgive me if it's bad, but I'm still learning, If you want to see the original, it's in my flickr set that I've linked to in my entry. And thanks for fixing the title Erdbeereis!

You probably already know How much I like this one! Great job on it! Everything fits together so well!

How to upload from Flickr to Eurobricks
sok117 replied to Gregorovich's topic in Forum Information and Help
Hello, I'm wondering how I deeplink pictures from flickr? I've found out how to get the link for the image, but when I put them in the deeplink box and I select preview post it just shows me the addresses. The flickr links look a lot different from the ones on brickshelf. Does anyone know what I'm missing? Thanks In advanced! -
Agreed, the first OT battlepacks had a tatooine background, so one could argue those were tatooine battlepacks? then came hoth, so logically, endo will be next year.
-
Hehe, remember last year when there were rumors of TLC switching to three figs? And the other bounty hunter your refering to is Zuckuss.
-
Nice sketching! But I would suggest posting your art in this thread, you can also look at some of the other eurobricks artists, and your art is not limited by lego! hope to see more of you soon!

Think I'm drifting towards becoming an AFOL...
sok117 replied to MiniJunkie's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Well I'm a TFOL, and ever since I got my first lego sets back maybe when I was 3, I've been hooked! Since I've joined the online lego community, with all these beautifully designed creations, it gets to the point where I don't even see lego as a toy anymore, it's more like a combination of building models and art, building limited only by your own imagination.
