Congrats on the acvhievments everyone! I think you guys really deserved them. Now go and put it on your resume ! Looks like ADHO and Penguin are next up for their Gotham City Mafia, the suspense is killing me -
To be honest Def, I think your not giving the town enough credit. I do agree there was a lack of communication and ideas being thrown around. But when you say that this was a major scum tell and that was a major scum tell, I think you need to remember that you invented the game and you know all the roles in this game. The town joined this game with no idea what was going on, so things might not be as clear to us as it was for you. We're all quite aware of the games your capable of making, so people often over-analyze things and it makes it easier for scum to make convoluted scenarios that we actually believe have credibility (sandy convicted over Hinck). And the five agents becoming six makes me a bit mad to because it adds even more of the "what this is is not actually what it is" vibe. The games on eurobricks definitely have to be taken back to basics a bit more, or at least in my opinion. People are getting so paranoid now that I believe they can't even make informed decisions now. Anyways, thanks for letting me play though. I think a lot of my workings went on the inside, however I was communicating with Shadows. I'm also a little disappointed that the scum team was pretty stacked with experience mafia players, which I believe is another trend in eurobricks games that isn't healthy. Sorry, off-topic again, I appreciate you letting us all play and it was fun while it lasted.

Arkham City avatar swag is now on xbox live!!! I just outfitted my avatar in a Batman costume complete with bat grapple! Other notable items include a Joker costume, A sick Robin costume, catwoman whip, toy batmobile, nightwing t-shirt, and a catwoman costume for the ladies. And riddler hat and bane mask. Also, I don't know if you guys know but Nightwing has been confirmed as a playable character for downloadable content. It was found in a leaked achievment list for the Downloadable content. Another interesting thing was that you could download all the original arkham asylum challenge maps! More cool stuff Robin trailer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GK7wIqjdgt0&feature=related Everything at stake trailer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dyeXhpSmnzU&feature=watch_response

Man there are a lot of similarities between the batman sets from three years ago. Except it looks like everything got smaller. First Thoughts Batman vs. Catwoman - It's pretty much the same thing we got last year for catwoman. Batman has a neat jetpack, I can only hope his printing will resemble some sort of flight suit variant. I also think we'll get some sick news papers which would be sweet! Batcave- I'm pretty excited for this one! The set looks pretty good with a 1 person computer, a garage door, "bat-gear" and a prison cell to hold poison Ivy. I also like the vehicle bane has cause it reminds me a lot of the older comics. Another thing I'm noticing is the top most point above the bat x-ray. I think thats a bat-cave entrance hatch wich will function as a bruce wayne in, batman out sorta feature. Overall, pretty cool! Also, Robin looks like his cape is both yellow and black! Superman vs. Lex - Looks like a pretty solid set content wise. Nice range of figures too. Bubble cockpit in trans clear! And lots and lots of dark green. Overall pretty sweet! Batman vs. Joker - Smaller rehash of the older set, and very dissapointing. The helicopter looks blockier then ever, as well as the batwing. I can't see much, but thats what it looks like. I think the person driving the heli-copter might be a stand in for harley quinn maybe. Batman vs. Twoface - The batmobile looks better then the first cause it's more compact which I like. But I think the wings are way to big, other then that it looks good. I can only hope that Double-Face's orange and blue car might get changed to the lesser known batman villan two-face and a black and white car . Looks likt the truck includes a minigun, crane, and turret. Looks like the bank comes with a cop a safe and a breakable wall. If the truck changes, we'll talk! Ovearll, a little perturbed by the sets, but still confident in the final product

This is a truly outstanding piece of work. The builds are all very detailed for such a small scale. I think the best point of view would be something like this However maybe zoomed out from batman. Another cool perspective might be this but without nightwing I guess. I don't think it really matters what yoou do at this stage. Were all going to love the final product regardless!!

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 4 Discussion

I personally thought the episode was good, I have a little more respect for the gungans now. I figure that as long as you can look past discrepencies and just focus on the episode from a kids perspective, you'll enjoy it a lot more! -
PC Gamer Issue 232 (UK): Free Hat Made of Pixels!

I don't think that would have yielded any results because most likely players of the game would keep their codes. I think a thread for self-promotion is a bad idea to be frank. Speaking for myself, I would never look at it of care. Not because I'm heartless, but because I think it would get spammed way to often. I'm at a loss of what is to be done, I'd assume the best route would be to just leave it the way it is. -
Nice looking star command vehicle Oky! The crisp transitions in the build make it look like an official set! Doesn't look like theres much room to move around though, but that's really minor. All and all a great creation ! Even though the name kinda surprises me

What DC/Marvel Hero/Villain Do You Most Want To See Made In LEGO?
sok117 replied to Mr. Elijah Timms's topic in LEGO Licensed
Lizard can easily be made from the new series 5 Godzilla, but an official fig would be nice. Mysterio could easily be made by sandy's head-dome, killer crocs body, green legs, purple cap from the original dumbledore, yellow hands, and a clear head. I've also made a decent Black Canary from the yellow-ish hair the falls over one shoulder, Mutt Williams leather jacket, a female face, and black hips with dark grey legs. as for me, from DC Flash, Booster Gold, Green Arrow, Shazam, Martian Man-hunter, Zatanna, Hawk Man and clayface, Mad Hatter, Killer Moth, Grundy, Braniac, Gorilla Grod, and I think Gentlemen Ghost would be a cool figure. Also Lex Luther in his power suit if he is just in regular Lex attire in the upcoming set.. I think I'll discuss Marvel in a later post, I need to collect my thoughts -

I think that If you think it is fair that mods can use their powers to self-promote and not let others use the same means. Then of course this shouldn't bother you. But if you think it is unfair, then simply not do what the self-promoter asks. Soon so and so will see that this isn't the way to get what he or she wants and will cease to do it again. It's how most forums work. -
I welcome any creations with open arms. It shows that people are using their imaginations or their attention to detail. So either way your both helping yourself learn, and sharing with the community. And if something isn't star wars-y enough for you, then just ask a Mod to move it to the sci-fi forum and get on with your day

It was a question, not a statement, Ogre said that Sci-mocs was at Lego Headquarters, so I asked. Lego isn't based in Canada, but they do have an office building up in Markham, which is what I assumed we were referring too.

wait, does Si-Mocs work at lego headquarters in Canada? I've been there once as a guest to shadow the company for school

Dr. Bloodbrick's Asylum II: Fraulein Bloodbrick
sok117 replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
That is all for now. Oh and thanks for letting me play Def! -
Good point, with all the pieces that castle lines have introduced, especially the fantasy line, and of course the series three elf. Anyone could make their own LOTR theme without to much difficulty.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 4 Discussion
sok117 replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I actually thought that Prisoners was the best episode of the arc, The talking was a little deeper then what we normally get, and the revolt at the end was pretty cool too! And I saw a defenite nod to Jaws with the death of Rif Tameson. There were also some pretty stupid moments like with Jar Jar and his "gungan water-proofing", but I've come to expect that from the clone wars. -
The pick-a-brick at sherway is a lot different from the one shown on the website. Pieces of interest were 1x2x2 clear windsheilds and 1x1 stud bley clip-joints as well as some white wall pieces and 1x2 printed tiles with speedometers on them, or are they pressure gauges. They also had some cool grab-bags and full series 1 minifgures in the build a mini such as Native, Cavman, Luchador, and Ninja I think, I went last wednesday though, but I can't imagine much has changed.

Well, I obviously didn't listen far back enough My bad everyone. Oh well, I cannot convince anyone to change their vote now, so we will see what tomorrow can bring for us I guess .

I'm glad to see that in my absence that whatever mix up has presented itself has some-what resolved itself. I thing we can mostly agree that Heng would be the ideal person to lynch for tonight given the evidence that has presented itself. To change the subject, has anyone heard or seen Pelly lately, it seems as though hes vanished !

Dr. Bloodbrick's Asylum II: Fraulein Bloodbrick
sok117 replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Well, a seed of good news in this rather unfortunate time is that I actually do have Internet access while I'm away, thankfully I was able to switch hotels and will now have free wi-fi. So I should be able to participate a little bit. Thank you all for your kind words though. -
This is truly confusing. Sunny is acting like the black beast was on day one, and look where that got us. It is that reason that I will keep to my suspicions from early on and vote: Heng/ Hinckley. I would stress to the townies to not take everything said here as fact. I know there has been a lot of back and fourth on supposed pill effects and such, but that could just as easily be the scums ways of throwing us off their tale. We must remain strong when faced with adversity. For now, I think I might just head to bed early.

Dr. Bloodbrick's Asylum II: Fraulein Bloodbrick
sok117 replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I'm sorry if I put an inconvenience on anyone else, but my uncle just recently passed away and I have to fly out soon to make his funeral in Thunder Bay, so I will be away from a computer till maybe around Sunday, and I don't trust the chance of me getting Internet access at the hotel I will be staying at. I apologize for this short absence and if I need to be replaced during my break I apologize for putting this burden on all the players but especially the host, Def. Best wishes, Stefan~ -
Interesting point! I did think that the Joker looked extremely Jack Nicholsen-esque. I can't wait for the sets though, seeing the prices helps me to budget accordingly! Can anyone confirm that prices are in American dollars?
-
I'm certain about it, and I possibly may be on to another scum member but I have to confirm my theory before I reveal it. I can't be sure what Heng was doing to to Tammo though, but it's been brought up as "why would anyone target tammo", if you can agree with that then it is highly logical to think that the only thing Heng could have done was murder him.
