I assume you do want to be somewhat helpful" "You're welcome, though I must admit that this isn't really our area of expertise." Enson equips the Plasma Splicer. Enson sidled over to the door that Jonk had found. "So," he said quietly, "are we sneaking in, or..." he drew out the Spider Bomb, "well, not?"

As he spoke, Enson leant over the broken robot and began to fiddle with it, trying to use the Exo-Suit to modify it. Enson will equip the utility belt and assist Aysu with Engineering. He will also attempt to incorporate the Exo-Suit to make the task easier. "It doesn't matter if it's his fault or not. We can't reliably keep him safe while he's with us, and if he dies then we have failed even if we save his friend. Which, to be clear, I intend to do no matter what happens."

  5. Having finally retuned from Ireland, I'll be able to conduct a post mortem of M9 sometime soon. @Endgame, @Yzalirk, feel free to correct your character's stats with the appropriate amount of credits.
  6. Just one. The first two entries on the list mention the effects of two of the stimuli without one of the others. Does this refer to both of the listed stimuli being active, of does it apply even when only one is active?
  7. Enson, knowing better than to fiddle with a medical device he doesn’t understand, will examine the display cabinets and papers to the left of the device.

  9. Enson muttered something inaudible to himself as he saw Bertram sleeping like one who hasn’t been kidnapped. Striding across the room, he reached out and slapped him. “Wake up you blithering fool!”
  10. “I think we’ve done all we can here. You’re right, we should be going.” Enson will equip the Plasma Splicer, drop the crude machete, and pick up Felthorn. Having done this, he will attempt to sneak into the laboratory.

  15. @Viper Knight, the objects in your inventory are not legitimate choices for starting equipment. Please read the character creation rules and pick one of the available starting kits. If you don't, you will not be able to participate in missions due to noncompliance with the rules. I would also recommend reading the section on spending CP and use your starting points to increase your stats accordingly.
  16. In the event that I am unable to post, @Scubacarrot will take control of my character. At the end of the battle, Enson will spend 2 CP to increase Smarts, pick up Explosives, and retrieve the Spider Bomb from Billeck.

In a green armchair an indistinct figure sits, so still that they can only be a mannequin - or dead. As the first drops of rain begin to fall on the window, there is the sound of a door opening and footsteps on floorboards - someone has entered the attic. There is a moment of silence, the air heavy with ozone and intent. "Well." the still figure suddenly says, "Have. You. Dealt. With. The. In. Ves. Ti. Ga. Tor." It speaks in a jerky, forced fashion, hammering out each syllable like blows against a solid surface. The person who entered the room makes a banal answer in the affirmative. "Good. Then. They. Are. No. Lon. Ger. Tail. Ling. You." Another affirmative answer. The entrant waits for a moment as if to receive further instructions. Finding none, they make as if to leave. "Did. It. Have. To. Be. So. Dra. Ma. Tic." The other person starts to say something in their defense. "Si. Lence. You. Drew. To. Much. At. Ten. Tion. To. Your. Self. It. Is. A. Mir. A. Cle. The. Trail. Went. Cold. Leave." The other person bows and backs out of the room. There is a quiet in the room, the only sound being the pattering of rain on the roof. "Mo. Ron."
