Newb Question - Regarding Black Falcon use in Historica.
Duvors replied to DungeonsAndFlagons's topic in Guilds of Historica
Kaliphlin has jungles and swamps, and Nocturnus has swamps and plains, for a overview of the basic landscapes available i'd recommend looking at this for Mitgardia; And for the rest of the Guilds; I think that covers most of it. -
Newb Question - Regarding Black Falcon use in Historica.
Duvors replied to DungeonsAndFlagons's topic in Guilds of Historica
So much Black... That settles it, you have to join Nocturnus. ...well, sometimes that's what it is, the rest of the time the cook isn't able to get his sword out in time and the pumpkin... lets just say that there isn't much left of the cook. Fixed. -
"Oh it's quite clear, I just wanted to call it to your attention, it appears to be the only one in stock, and I don't want you to make a mistake in the matter of keeping inventory."With that Throlar handed Fabian 40 gold, leaving himself with 535 gold, and took the Armor of the Draugr. "Pleasure doing business with you." And then he left.

Brickdoctor invented an overland travel system that could be modified for overseas travel, it was used in Quest Four, Flare used a similar system in Quest Forty Two. Ummm, I think that...Look, if anyone is planning on doing a quest like that will they please PM me? Actually I think that orc slavery isn't used in the Low Kingdoms, still, it would be nice if this orc slavery thing played a major part in a quest, most of it seems to go on offscreen at the moment. I think autorolling stops if a KO occurs.

Throlar entered the marketplace and headed straight to Fabian's stall. Upon reaching the stall he immediately began to look carefully at every item for sale before finally... "Mister Fabian, you are asking for Forty gold for this 'Armor of the Draugr', is that correct?"

Throlar was examining his equipment, an idea had come into his head and he was trying to decide whether or not to act upon it, finally he got up from his seat and left the hall.

Leif? From Erikson? Really? I like the story, and the builds are great, I'm especially impressed by the semicircular speakers platform, keep it up!

Yoda or Luridan Voros? I agree, I like the idea of a Bombcrafter, but on the subject of the Bonecrafter when I first heard of the idea I sort of expected it to work differently, if anyone is interested I'll elaborate.

Throlar had finally returned to the hall, after returning to the Embassy with Meldrim he and his aide had been snowed under, and when the snow melted the streets had turned into a shifting morass for a week, then Throlar was kept indoors by several increasingly disturbing letters about Baltarok form his government and had to answer, and Meldrim was annoyed by the fact that the Ji Pei representative had been unable to appear, and finally he had simply been to afraid to step outside for several weeks. But he was here now, glancing with apprehension at every shadow as he made his way to the bar.

(Completed) Call to Arms! Battle of The Wither Woods (And LDD Ch
Duvors replied to SkaForHire's topic in Guilds of Historica
The Black spire is composed of the remains of The Hand of Corruption, an army of Varlayan rebels, and the Drow, so in answer to your question is, the latter. If I was a member you'd probably be facing a legion of Enchanted Pumpkins.- 318 replies

I for one think that that is just too complicated.

Thank you for your comments, I'm trying to improve on 77 because I know that my roleplaying there was awful, and I'm glad that I seem to be succeeding. The language was supposed to be Titaani, and if asked Throlar would have stated that it was a traditional phrase meaning 'you are brave'. I'll save an explanation of Meldrim for another post.

Did Sandy just offer to give away access to the Veteran Classes for free(ish)?

"Look blue, ever since I've met this creep I've been trying my hardest not to snap his neck with my bare hands, so don't make me want to do the same to you too, please?" Throlar nods at the first statement and raises his eyebrow at the the second."Don't know what that meant, but if I'm right I'd like to say something, The Ends Do Not Justify The Means." "Throlar," said Meldrim "please don't."
-
"In that case keep your mouth shut."
-
"Shut up, you know nothing about gods, firstly, there is no such thing as a god who has less power in one place than another, secondly, I doubt think your Ice Mother or whoever the hell you call her gives a damm about that, and thirdly, Amber is still out there, but she doesn't frighten me, what does frighten, no terrifies me, is the wraith-like shadow that follows her everywhere, she scares me."

Throlar strode over to McCreary and and placed his right hand on the pastor's left shoulder and said; "I'm sorry," he said, with his voice filled with emotion,"I'm sorry we had to bring this up, and I'm sorry for your sorrows, but the ghosts of those memories have come back to you and taken physical form, so you have to deal with them, and the best way to deal with them..." Throlar then gave the whiskey bottle a slight shove, and it toppled off the edge of desk and shattered with a resounding crash. "DRAGON!" This cry startled almost everyone in the room, Meldrim was sitting bolt upright in his chair quivering, his eyes wide open. "Sorry, I just had a bad dream, yes, just a dream, a enormous red dragon was attacking Titaan and..." "Meldrim," said Throlar, "you're killing the moment."
