  1. I think that one is the best of them, it really captures the feel of an old parchment map.
  2. "Sometimes we see things wrong, and sometimes we have to believe in what we cannot see, but it is good to see something that you can believe in, and good to believe in something you can see, some people never realize that you have to believe in what you see, and think that the world is an illusion, the more fools they.""The world is treacherous, but there is also much good in it, I wonder how much is in me."
  3. "Actually I was hauled off before it happened, but I am sorry, not that I would have done much to save him, maybe if I had known more..." Throlar stood back, his eyes glazing over as he looked over into the distance. "I hate the role I perform in this massive play called 'Olegaia', everything I do makes me feel worse, I've killed unnecessarily, I've done a deed that was uncommonly like murder, and now I find that I nearly killed a father, at least I was captured before the deed was done, I might sleep slightly easier." He sighed. "But not much, I am still morally guilty, as I would have done it myself, that is the great problem with fighting, you do not see your enemy as a person, but as an obstacle, something to be removed." "And the worst of it is," he said as his eyes snapped back to the present and looked at the mutant boy, "I'd never feel remorse until I met you, and I might never have met you, blast." He slumped down beside the wicket fence, his eyes shining like two bright blue stars, and in the middle of each was a deep well of darkness, and if you looked into them you would be looking down into infinity, into the mind of Throlar Wineghilm.
  4. Lovely, though I think you forgot to label Billand.
  5. Awkward family relations are fun! I don't think Prezel would say that if he was there.
  6. I don't think so, she's more likely to be the Keeper herself! You know that there isn't very much you can do with Lego in that regard, do you realize how many NPC's have the face I used for Throlar?
  7. "That da... eherm, darned bast... fool, we weren't even given a chance to protest innocence, instead, well, we're here, and some horrible thing that these mutants believe is some sort of god is going to have us thrusted into his den, or something like that anyway." He looked at Brock very closely, saying; "This happened because you left your friends and family for something that isn't really very important in a state of ignorance, ill supplied, defenseless, you're lucky you aren't already dead." his voice was rather hard at first, but it softened as he continued, " You miss home eh? Why did you leave it then? Does this 'Decamon' really matter to you so much Brock? A simple card game, good to pass the time when you have nothing to do, but not really important enough to leave home for. No it is not, to save the world, to do your duty, to defeat a Necromancer, to stop a bunch of fool nobles arguing over trifles, yes, those are all good reasons, but to learn a card game? No, it's not worth it. And your fishy girlfriend is probably with my companions, and they're probably on the way now." Throlar said this in the most reassuring way possible, but he himself doubted it.
  8. I agree with Kinto to on this, it really looks wrong on her.
  9. "I'm surprised at you," said Throlar, speaking to Brock, "he just called you stupid and you don't say anything, well I suppose you can't expect much from some people. Now," he looked toward Maddog as he spoke, "why do you want us? We aren't really ideal slave labor, and I don't think you want to eat us, so why the... heck, are we here?"
  10. Well, most of them are old, and all of them where made by Sandy save the one of Dastan, that was made by Brickdoctor, there is also a map of Varthland somewhere in there that I don't exactly know who it was made by, and there are lots of maps that aren't even in the Library (HinthintnudgeSandypleasedosomthingaboutthatplease).By the way, it is nice to meet the creator of the map for the Lands of Mythron. I'd like to add that most mapmaking is done by QM's for they're own quests, so if you ever get familiar enough with this to try and host a quest you are welcome to make a map of your own for it.
  11. Mate, the sets are already out. You can by some of them on Bricklink.
  12. You know, the wording of that quote sounded an awful lot like the opening post of a role-play topic from the official lego forums... Not when he posted it wasn't.
  13. "Immaculate, I wonder what she meant by that." said Throlar to himself, "At least these idiots neglected to blindfold us." Throlar attempts to memorize the path the mutants take, taking special notice of prominent landmarks.
  14. Nice, but I would recommend some other printing for the legs, the one you have at present clashes with the color scheme, and I'd add a cape myself.
  15. Not to me, my avatar is still a gorgeous green.
  16. Not in character it can't, there is no in setting cultural background that would justify it's use as such, unless you happen to hate the fourth wall.
  17. Kinto, not to bother you, but in this RP setting France doesn't exist, the language is called Charisian or something like that.
  18. Throlar attacks the Cyclopean Mutant from the back row. OOC; Sandy, I never equipped the Lions Plate.
  19. I've changed it again, do you think i should remove the 'trying to injure him'?
  20. I've edited my post, is it acceptable now?
  21. I'm against provoking fights that can be avoided.
  22. I suddenly feel that an apology for my latest post is necessary.
  23. Throlar takes out his mace and chain, motioning the others to stand back, then he began to whirl the mace above his head, spinning it in a circle around his head, around and around and around, the mace gathering momentum until it became a humming blur, then he stepped into the open, still whirling it above his head, and flung it like a bola toward the short one-eyed mutant in an attempt to have it wrap around the mutants head. "Step away from the boy." he said, his voice laden with menace. OOC; Yes I know it isn't a throwing weapon, nor is Throlar a class that can wield such a weapon, but this isn't a battle [yet, but it soon might be] and I decided to take a chance.)
