  1. For THIS truck I used 1x 10 and 1x12 axles to act as a leafs. Very tidy and clean solution, but the vehicle has to be heavy for suspension to work. The truck weights about 3.5 kg. Your car will weight much less though.... Don't forget that make it more stronger than it needs right now, as the weight will grow.
  2. Welcome! I too had shoulder injury working out in the gym, in the past, luckily did not have to visit doctors. But I had great time resting from my work, building with LEGO, of course! :) Hope you will back in shape fast!
  3. Pillow case-washing machine-soap-dry on towel.
  4. Welcome! Regarding selling old(er) sets, you should first try Bricklink. That is the best place to sell and buy LEGO sets, pieces, catalogs, and everything else regarding LEGO. Next step should be Ebay. When you sell it, go to the bricklink and inform yourself about prices (just type set number and they will be listed by price) Some old sets can reach pretty good prices if they have box and all the papers inside. You need to have ten posts to be able to send Private Message (PM)

  9. Stickers are fine for that final touch. They add realism and details to the moc. And I am purist.
  10. Yes, tried to leave windows empty, it looks good, but i wanted for this moc to stand out a little bit. Use of bigger transparent pieces are possible for the truck, but in order to preserve correct width of the cabin and windows itself, plates were used. On the crane, however, bigger pieces are impossible due to sloped cabin. Besides, i think transparent plates looks much better, they are more uniformed. Thanks for feedback!
  11. Thanks guys, for nice comments! I used that brick built adapted which is between two sections of the boom. I used PDF, scale ti to correct size, and put wing pieces on screen until I got the right angle. Later I strengthen it, tiled it and smooth it :) 2 weeks to design it on computer, and two months to build it...trial and error. Waiting for few small BL orders included.
