  1. I mean, in the interest of being fair, the set number is 70882, not 70802. :P That being said, the image, while well done, is obviously fake. The Brain Attack Breez helmet is quite blatant, as is the lack of new pieces. :P
  2. Agreed completely. The first year and a half of HF nailed the formula perfectly. RIP in Pieces
  3. Hey, about how we post things determined from mining the book preview (which we probably shouldn't do anyways) in spoiler tags? I know most people probably wouldn't consider stuff like fight scenes and obvious Makuta shenanigans to be spoilers, but I know some would prefer to read it in the complete book. :P
  4. I believe the reveal about getting an exclusive mask in a polybag initially came out via a Eurobricks topic, which also stated that we would get a D2C Ninjago set (which we obviously did, as well).
  5. Correct; everybody at TTV got vastly different stuff when we opened it up. Could we get some screenshots of the page in question? Because that would be pretty great if true.
  6. I haven't seen anything from that guy before, so unlike the Skull Villain leaks where the guy posted lists for every theme, I'm going to have to call fake on this one until further evidence. (pretty plausible though)
  7. Kabootops, you are a wonderful soul. Can we like, get the DCPI code from the receipt so we can all go hunting?
  8. I do indeed; he was referencing a podcast episode where Var took a comment I made about Skull Grinder's horns out of context and made me out to be a fool. :P
  9. I need Skull Grinder and I need him now That skull calls to me
  10. Hilariously fake. I'd buy it
  11. No matter what Lego says, every year the sets get a limited release the month prior. Every year. This year will be no different. :P
  12. Don't fret, I archived them on our website on the off chance that they would be taken down.
  13. Good point; usually we speculate about back armor or internal construction or w/e but we've got 360 degree views of most of the sets... I'm sure we can find some other stuff to talk about though, right guys???
  14. Plus, from the looks of things, only Jango's upper leg armor is printed. His upper arm armor is without printing. So it's the best of both worlds! Mediocre set (by SW standards, they're all pretty great), top-tier recolors.
  15. Yeah, they just re-posted the tweet. Here it is.
  16. It's an atrocious foot design and has been used about ten times too many. One of my most hated things about the CCBS system. :P
  17. Yeah... My opinions can be summarized very easily so rather than do some rant post I'll just say this: -CCBS > Old system -Would I like some more shells and some more detailed armor, though? Sure -Lego is showing a lot of love and care with 2015 BIONICLE as has been demonstrated time and time again -HOWEVER, I do feel they would have been better served investing some of their marketing budget into getting a fully fledged TV show (or even full-length webisodes) done in the same excellent artistic style rather than... whatever we have right now.
  18. I've got them all except Lewa who I'm debating whether to buy at all considering I have 95% of him from NYCC.
  19. That's a really nice and concise way of describing things, actually. WITH THAT BEING SAID, I agree with DV that older BIONICLE wasn't always great in this regard either.
  20. I don't mind new Pohatu. It's nice to have one person who takes things seriously. :P
  21. I'm not talking about the concept of BIONICLE, I'm talking about what we actually see playing out on our screens. In the first five years of BIONICLE, we had three movies, two MNOG games, and two series of online animations, all of which had characters speaking of their own accord (be it through actual dialogue or subtitles on the screen). The events of the story weren't related through a "storyteller." The closest we ever had to that were Vakama's intro monologues. :P
