I hate to be that guy that is skeptical of certain story details, but I've had some severe doubts of the legitimacy of that for a while. I'm willing to bet that was just some fluff piece put in the Lego Club to justify Slicer's reuse of a Skull Spider mask, and won't actually feature in story (animations, books) whatsoever.

Honestly 2005 is probably my least favorite year so there's that. Lots of people don't like 2008 (myself included) for the Av-Toran build, silver overload, and the Phantoka/Mistika not looking good/like their past incarnations. Other than that, it was a fairly solid year.

SO ANYWAY yeah I'm not entirely sure how the SW leg armor will be adapted towards the BIONICLE sets, if it ends up being used at all. I nominate a new foot design, for starters! The 2.0 feet have vastly overstayed their welcome.

No, there was no indication that Mata Nui exists in the "Nuvaverse" or will have any role in G2, hence the "no further information" line. We mentioned Mata Nui, and the fact that the name "Makuta" got carried over into G2 but "Mata Nui" did not. I don't remember the exact wording, but the response we got was like "Yeah, Mata Nui sure was a very important character in the old line. This time around, Makuta's brother is Ekimu." Nothing of any merit, just an acknowledgment of his existence and a nod towards his prior importance. :P

That's the correct phrase to use, yeah. No concrete info was said either way. Kahi merely asked who made Ekimu and Makuta's masks and the response was something along the lines of "That's a very interesting question."

SHOCKING NEWS, GUYS: the "leak" from yesterday was fake. The user who posted it on our message boards managed to extract the truth from his friend, and shared it with the community promptly. I can't exactly say I'm surprised. That being said, now we're back to square one as far as discussion goes. Anybody want to take bets on Umarak's secondary color? XD

There are many fans of Ninjago, but I mostly see them active on social media sites rather than a dedicated fansite.

I don't mean to speak for Twistlaw, but I think it's pretty obvious he was speaking in reference to this "leaked" information and not his own independent sources. As in, what he heard from the toyshop owner was "validated" by this leak because Umarak is the color black. At least he has some green, though, to make it a little more interesting (again, referring to the leak). EDIT: already covered lol

Correction: Twistlaw only stated that Umarak was black. He never mentioned the color green.

The "source" was shared with me privately; it's ExoForce.ru, the same site that first reported on the BIONICLE 2015 names last year in an article format. So, to play devil's advocate, it is not outside the realm of possibility for the sets to have been posted early, or accidentally, and then removed once they realized their mistake. This is a shop site, after all, and a similar occurrence happened with the first wave of Lego Minecraft minifigure sets (although not on the same website). That being said, it still begs the question as to why this person did not post or save the photos, and the fact that it uses a website that conveniently was the source of a small portion of last year's leak (although not pictures, mind you) only serves to attempt to validate this by referencing a site that has "been right before." SO basically I don't believe this for a second.

I think it would be wise for everyone to take this with a heaping amount of salt until we hear more concrete details about the source. I find it incredibly difficult to believe that the sets were posted online, remained up long enough for someone to stare at them and memorize new details ranging from builds to weapons to FUNCTIONS, yet not save any of the pictures or even link them to anyone while they were up.

If history repeats, probably not until next month. That's what happened last year with prelims, considering the display was an anomaly not likely to be repeated. :P EDIT: what an apt post to be my 1000th

I received the Toa, LoSS, and Skull Creatures in the mail. I can personally testify that 3 Skull villains' and four Toa's boxes were pretty much wrecked upon arrival. It's a similar issue to broken sockets; it may not have happened to everyone, but it was still a legitimate problem. :P I love their design and I prefer them greatly to HF's bags, and honestly packaging isn't really a concern of mine (I had no qualms with saying goodbye to canisters if it meant better sets), but if there could be some improvements that would be nice.

Okay, fair enough. In the interest of being fair, that's not looking too good. Regardless, I can't think of a reason for him to have been listed in the initial source if he wasn't actually going to be in this wave. No other "Summer 2015" set candidates were listed there, just this wave in its entirety. So I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Again, the initial Brickpicker list had Kopaka featured after "Hunter." As such, in theory, that would give him the set number of 71311. Why they would sequence it like that, I have no idea, but that's where we are. Yeah... I never placed any stock in the 4chan "leak" and especially not the "Ghost" one so fine by me.

Certainly possible, I suppose, but I'm inclined to doubt it; on the Brickpicker list, Kopaka came directly after "Hunter." This leads me to believe his set number is probably 71311, unless that number is taken by another set and I just don't realize it. That being said, I don't fully understand why they would break up the sequencing that way. Hopefully we'll have concrete answers soon enough.

I just want everybody to keep in mind that Kopaka WAS ON the list we got several days ago, which correlates perfectly with these listings making it 100% legitimate. He will be in the wave. He just wasn't on Amazon for whatever reason.

Kopaka was in the list from several days ago, so I'm pretty positive Amazon just doesn't have him listed for whatever reason. Additionally, Umarak is likely ice-themed. :P

Queen Beast had nine golden pieces, not one; also, don't forget about Scarox. :P But yeah, I must agree with the sentiment that gold has become quite oversaturated over the last couple of years, in terms of CCBS (not just Hero Factory). I have so much of the color that it's lost a lot of its appeal. That being said, this mask is still pretty schway and I will endeavor to obtain it as soon as it's available. EDIT: Oh yeah, Speeda Demon too!

The Ghost Sets, I would wager, are fake. This newest list is far more believable.
