Were the PotC sets really that bad? I may have been out of the loop for a while, but I thought they were pretty good(I got QAR, Whitecap Bay and CC). At least these were tied to a successful movie franchise, unlike PoP. That aside, I feel that licensed themes are great. They may be a bit of a gamble, but when they are successful, everyone benefits. Plus my dreams of getting a Lego Sauron may soon become a reality.

Perhaps Lego could increase the number of supporters needed for any licensed project, like increasing it to 50k supporters or something.

I'll certainly be getting the new JSF(have Plo Koon's and those two are my favorite Jedi), the skiff(missed the first one and it's a cheap way to get Fett), and the CW fighter(just love how it looks). I might get the new Gungan sub since it looks nice and I loved the original. And maybe the Malevolence. Gotta have a giant ship on the shelves and it looks nice.

I gotta go Bionicle. I tried some of the HF sets but they just can't compete with the fun I had building the larger Bionicle sets. Furthermore HF sets just don't look nearly as nice on display as the bulk of the later Bionicle material.

I might actually enter this one. Can we replicate movie scenes?

I own all but the Orc forge and Weathertop and I gotta say Helm's Deep is my favorite. It just looks so nice on display and the build was great.

That'd make for one of the most amazing contests ever on this site. Can you say flick fire chickens from MMV?

I like the suggestion to use much stronger tape or maybe use something like the plastic used on carded action figures(you know, the type you have to peel off the card to get at the figure). Use small strips of that plastic, bend them into the shape of the tape and glue them down. For one, it'd be harder, if impossible, to peel it off and then reseal the package. Second, this method would be hard for the thieves to replicate. The cost of this method would be made up by Lego not having to replace all those minifigs that have been stolen.

With the new Uruk-Hai army set I think they made one of the best ffm functions ever. It makes sense, they go far, and they're easy to fire. On the other hand I found the little ffm cart that came with 7188 to be a bit lacking. And then there's the King's Carriage Ambush set 7188 which had a launcher just sticking out of a tree.

Lately I have been keeping up with five manga series, Bleach, Naruto, One Piece, Fairy Tail, and History's Strongest Disciple: Kenichi. ,

I would really like to see an ancient history theme instead of some midieval/fantasy theme like we've always gotten.

Since I stopped playing WoW last November, my other hobbies have really taken off. The main one besides Lego is Gunpla, model kits from the Gundam anime franchise. I also collect Manga and keep up with five series, although I only buy the volumes from two. I've also been active with my college's foam ballistics team, a fancy way to say a Nerf club. I've modified one of my blasters to fire at more than 60 miles per hour, which great for an intimidation factor.

I buy Lego in secret all the time. As a college student with a part time job and a lot of free time on my hands, it is really easy for me to do. I will admit, however, that there are a few purchases I have felt a tad guilty about, namely QAR which I found at Wal-mart for 2/3 of the full price.

As long as we get Sauron, I'd be happy.

Bought this set the first day it was released at Toysrus. Even though it was marked up to 159.99, I don't regret it. Loved the build. In terms of size, it's smaller than Vladek's dark fortress(which I do have), but there is much more detail given to it. It is, however, much longer, deeper, and taller than Vladek's Dark Fortress. My only gripe is that it doesn't come with any Rohan troops.

Picked up 12 of the S5 minifigs, the ones I didn't get were the clown, guard, detective, and fisherman
