Oooh, that looks really nice. I like the triangle shape of it. Sort of looks like an IKEA spaceship. I'm scared....
-
That's good. Too bad, a mountain fortress these days would be interesting. Sure would have a lot of BURPs.

Hi, Randy. [You'll get it if you regularly watch My Name Is Earl]. Pirates of the Caribbean theme.
-
Wow. That is really, really detailed. My favorite part is the caves, I've been wanting to do something like that for a long time. And I like how it all flows and looks so natural. KUTGW!

What is the difference between a member whose name is in bold on the Board Statistics and one whose name is normal?

What do your friends/family think of your hobby?
hewkii9 replied to Brainbox's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Nah. I fit in that age range, yet nary a week goes by when I tell of my LEGO exploits to the school [jokes, but a great base for a joke]. My parents are okay with it and buy me LEGO often, [i already know I'm getting BaTP for Christmas]. Of course LEGO pales in comparison to my raptor impression... -
I was going to name the larger mech I'm working on 'Viking Venom' but I like that name better. Thanks!
-
Very nice MoC. I really like the figs. Happy little visors :) On another note, the octagonal design was also used in Sentai Fortress.
-
Well, it is a 'short-range' mech. But the men [no women, this is LEGO, right?] of Viking-Force are working on a wooden mech with a self-contained hot-maker.
-
Welcome to Eurobricks, birdmaster51! I think that this would be better suited to go in the Your Own Creations forum or in your signature [but I'm not a mod, just trying to help]. And there is an existing Lego part that matches your parrot- Dark Stone Animal Bird, if you want to make a sigfig with your bird.

[originally posted on Classic-Castle] On Mount Viking, evil forces are at work. The Vikings have discovered steampower and used it to improve their mining. But the steam has rebelled! The Vikings have build hot-powered mechas to defeat it and restore Mount Viking to it's former glory! Mount Viking They have built the Iron Crawler, a short range mech. It is equipped with two magical blue orbs [they light up the night actually, in case the power fire is blocked by a stone wall or something]. All Viking-Force pilots are also equipped with a catapult. Iron Crawler with power fire Rear of Iron Crawler Power fire with beer Pilot Hokoyoutomiza the Fearless Viking Warrior with firing catapult action! Unpiloted Iron Crawler

Oh, but he can climb it!

How is it not kid friendly? The most violent thing in the movie is a few Vogons with laser tummies. And besides, there are enough vehicles and locations to please everyone. And yes, there is only one Slartibartfast, but I'm hoping he'd appear in more then one set.

Sting, Peter Jackson has expressed interest in making The Hobbit into a film. See here. And I'd like to see Eragon and Jurassic Park. Brick and KK joint dragons, and the same with a 14.99 Tyrannosaur. Oh Yeah. EDIT: And The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. That would be amazing. A Vogsphere playset and Slartibartfast minifigs.
-
Okay, everyone, thanks. I've made up my mind on BaTP.
-
I already have 3 Viking sets, and Battle Wagon and Rogue Knight Battleship. Well, yeah, but it makes it hard if I want to rebuild the set and half of it is in my Technic bin. And Pictures are up.

Foolish LEGO Human Errors You've Made.
hewkii9 replied to ReZourceman's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Note to self- You can'thold more Technic pins by putting multiples inside your mouth. Try not to do it again. -
Only about $25 a month, even though I buy Bionicle and Lego.
-
Yuck. I don't like those. Carapar looks like something you find inside a Kleenex, not a vicious CraBarakki. Takadox would have been much better with four spindly legs, and Pridak's only MoCing use would be making the head into one of a pterodactyl. All the organics sicken me, and did I mention that the color schemes looks like Cool Creations? And Am i the only one who doesn't like the robot hands, Viking horns, and studs entering BIONICLE? Joke: What's black and white and red all over? Pridak!
-
Nice. Like the torso, with the sloped and tiles integrated so well into the being. Thw color scheme is oddly Pridak-ish, did you have him in mind while building?
-
Very nice. I rated it 3/5, for want of a larger structure. Very nice background, and the cannon cart is nice. Though I have a bit of trouble grasping the fact you've never MoCed before...

So, which should I buy? Here are my individual pros and cons for them- VDCvAOD: Pros- Viking set Better design More parts Log bricks Cons- Not on sale Too much Technic Only 3 figs BaTP: Pros- Would be my first castle On sale 10 figs plus skelly Cart wheels Place to store weapons[sometimes Rascus needs to put the stick down!] Cons- Not very good design The yellow seems a bit gaudy Please answer soon, as the sale only runs until Dec.8. Thanks in advance, Hewkii9

Yeah, the Tusken Raider minifigs are what people use. I'd like to see a LOTR theme, or at least LEGO pick up The Hobbit license. [Peter Jackson has expressed interest in making The Hobbit as two films, with one based on events in the Appendices].

What would make a great Adventurer sub-theme?
hewkii9 replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I say Johnny Thunder goes to Canada. We could have all sorts of fun as he hunts the Magical Beaver pelt. For one thing, he could fight a yeti! Built with real bricks! Or we could take the easy route and have a Hogwarts Castle-esque Parliament buildings. -
TRU has blade titan and sky guardian
hewkii9 replied to natelite's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
That's odd that they only have those two...What about Iron Condor and Shadow Crawler? And it's nice to know that Aqua Raiders will prolly be in full swing by Christmas.
