  1. That's not pubic hair. I, unlike some people, don't play with LEGO naked. It looks like...well, the white cloth has been sitting in my basement for a long time, so I don't know what it is.
  2. You pirates can't stop talking about pirates, can't you? *sweet* Anyway, I'd like to see the flail scrapped, and replaced with a brick built one-silver lightsabre blade, 3-link chain, and a good spike part. Also, I'd like to see a less fantastical evil fortress-maybe some arching spires, make it look like Minas Morgul. And I'd like to see the Crownies get a battle waggon of their own.
  3. Cafe Corner looks really good. I like the coloring and tiles. Too bad there's no interior.
  4. Every now and then, a barman trundles down the hill and sets up shop in the Village square. This is a special event, as it commemorates the cor-Ah, who cares? It's Beer! The Barman himself, at the wheel of the Beermobile. The camera swings around dramattically for a different view. Upon the rear of the Beermobile is a nice large cask of ale. In this view, you can see one of the goblets on the rack, along with a mace. This mace is for keeping the peasants in line. "Alright, we're open for business! May I add that pulling a cart through all the villages and hamlets is thirsty work. Don't drink and erm, pull cart! And here's a seige ladder I build from fences. Please don't say someone already made this design, or I'll have to break open that cask and drown my sorrows. The Ladder.
  5. No, the black piece is good for her. Although...imagine the possibilities with a pink Ryo-style one...
  6. As the Vikings watch the tale of Exo-Force unwind through a portal in time, they spy a Mobile Devastator, devastating the land. So, naturally, they try to build one. And they sort of did. It's barreling down at us, firemakers ready and anti-dragon crossbow cocked. It is powered by heat. A barrel is set on fire, and heat is transmitted through the chain to the engine. They work pretty well.
  7. It looks nice, though I think I've seen that building with the plants on the roof before... didn't you try this once?
  8. Hmmm....not if there's like a weapon rack or something out of the camera's view.
  9. The KK joints are already available in LDD, I believe.
  10. Brainbox, I agree. If only that part was available in red I'd have my sigfig set.
  11. That is probably because that, along with Vikings, is all I have to work with right now. :-$ See why there ae no hobbits and I'm building in stages? 2007 will probably bring 3rd age Gondor, the Dead, Saruman[seriously hoping the evil wizard doesnt have red eyes in the final product], Aragorn, and Haradrim. If I can get Bricklink by then/buy off friends- Hobbits, Gollum, maybe Nazgul and Arwen. I did Eomer the way I did because I wanted each faction to have a general color[in this case green]. Theoden, as I'm hoping to build him, will be more like that. Mr Tiber, I was actually planning on using the Darth Vader head to make Gollum. And Capn Kirk, I'm doing this to see how well they look using only Lego parts as well as cause I'm a LOTR nerd.
  12. Well, I am endeavoring on a great endeavor. Build lots and lots of Lord of the Rings stuff. My first goal is to build the characters-without modification, editing, or any such manner of miscreancy. So here's my first purist batch- THE SECOND AGE From left to right- 2nd age Gondorians, Isildur, Elendil, Sauron. Second Age Gondorians I tried to stick to a black and light grey scheme for these infantry, and gave them flared helmets. [Note-Gondor will be the only flared faction.] Elendil with Narsil Elendil was quite easy. I gave the royal house of the Second Age dark blue, and grille helmets to differ them further from the infantry. Since I lack chrome broadswords, I made Narsil from a supersword and two grey minifig hands to make the pommel resemble the blade of the long spears. Isildur I simply created a younger Elendil without Narsil or the cape. Sauron with One Ring- first image Sauron-second image Sauron was really fun to build. I took a plain black minifig, added armor [and a shade helmet *wub* ]. My real challenge was making a minifig scale mace that resembled the actual one, but could be held on one hand and looked more powerful overall. I used a yellow stud for the Ring [should replace with a gold one], and used black teeth for height. MISCELLANEOUS THIRD AGE -part 1- From left to right- Mouth of Sauron, Dunlendings, Eomer the Mouth of Sauron I must admit, I deviated from Tolkien's vision of the Dark Lord's herald. I gave him a halberd. Dunlendings You can see, I make two figs whenever I'm doing a faction. For Dunlendings, I made them look wild-and angry, ready to charge on Helm's Deep along with Uruks. I won't be using Viking helms much either [unless I also make Valar]. Eomer I don't have any comments on this guy, except I like how I built him. What you see is what you get. The Men of Umbar Red is a nice color for them, don't you think? To be continued...
  13. Wow, looks like I'll be getting everything up to Skeleton Tower. I like the look of that new magic piece, though there are only 5 new faces for sure-and two of them are black and white skellies. Ah well...
  14. It's the same hull design as in Rogue Knight's Battleship. So two sort of fin parts connected with the black modified bricks.
  15. Simply put, this ship is that of the Black Numenorean prince of Umbar Ar-Karandal. The dark red stripes on his uniform denote royal blood, and his speckled, partially rusted armour tells the tale of his naval experience raiding the coasts of South Gondor. He carries onboard with him an experienced balista worker [wearing the customary grey leggings of his uniform] and his slightly alcoholic nephew, who wears burnished black armour [clearly he's new] and works the tiller. Picture The ship, with left to right, the tiller, the balista worker, and Ar-Karandal. Picture A view from the other side, showing the more traditional siding of ships. Picture The sail, all furled and tied up. Picture The front, with a Fell Beast figurehead and raised forecastle[proper term?]. This was in case a raid failed and a ship sunk. Any remaining members of the crew could ascend to the top and from there call for help from other ships. Picture The rear, with the traditional Umbar sculpture of a pelican. As the saying went, 'When the last thing you see is the Black Pelican, you're in the hands of the Valar now.' Picture The plank. Used for execution of any worthless captives, as well as sidling up to merchant ships and boarding via it. When raised, serves as a shield for raiders to hide behind. Picture A rear view of a balista. These giant crossbows could shoot a distance of almost a knot in fair winds, and, in one memorable rain upon Cerin Amroth, impaled three men together. Picture These balistae also had almost full mobility in movement. Picture A barrel containing extra spears for the balista, along with a bottle of wine. Picture Ar-Karandal and his crew.
  16. For a pirate you know a lot of Vikings... And is Bella a Schitzu[spelling?]?
  17. Well, I believe she was named Hitomi, and Keiken's granddaughter is Hitomi, and she becomes important later on, so all we need is a mech now.

  20. Those darn stormies can play better than me...

    Daleks

Well, after seeing the end of Series 2, I wanted to build a Dalek. So this is what I have. Slightly large, and partially off-colour for the Dalek I was hoping to make, but I like it nonetheless. Dalek Front Dalek Side Dalek Back EXTERMINATE!!!! HEWKII-NINE!!!!!
  22. Hurrah, I have a memorable quote. And I will give Bionicle a break. When Hewkii puts his AK-47 down, takes off his hideous mask, climbs out of the accursed water, and decides he will stop this and go back six years and play Koli.
  23. Bricklink lists whole collections [like 2 silver knives together] as being on a sprue.
  24. My goodness, that makes Overlarge Gaudy-colours look like Makuta from '03. Or like this. It's amazing how photography can distort new sets for the better...
  25. They said no to Fantastic Four and King Kong licenses....
