Nocturn is the best set of the year. It has four arms, looks awesome, and has lime Viking horns. All the others are stringy and carry guns bigger than their heads. Exept Gadunka. I voted 2k7 has started badly.

I understand. Because, now, even the masks have personalities. And of course, the villains are PURE evil. That's right. some people who took over almost the entire known world will be whooped by a few widdle baby Toa with stick arms. Back on topic... I like that little weapon holder in 7009. I'm wondering if it's the same design as in Grand Tournament... I need a few better pics to be sure. And if we actually do get 2 skellie horses in Crossbow Attack....wewt.

The newer themes look too juniorized

I agree. If anyone would compare, could you tell me which is longer? A coin piece's diameter, or Ryo's eye? I am just glad nobody is complaining about that wonderful hair. -
My thoughts exactly. Of course, I only feel sorry for Hewkii. Well, they'll be rather sticky, and any action poses will be showing us the Mahri's backs. BAD STAGE BLOCKING! HAHAHA!!!!! Look at Kongu/Ehlek in the second image. Tee hee...

That is Umbridge. Dolores Umbridge.

EEEW!!!!!!! Nocturn: around $15 Kalmah: just below The knowledge that the heroes make the villains look heroic: Priceless. You know the rest. Stick arms, ammo covering them, horrid masks [Hewkii is soo beautiful as an Inika], overlarge guns, gross coloring, the fact that Nuparu and Matoro both have silver masks, overwide shoulders, stringy pipes [pull on thise and Matoro drowns] and the fact that they, unlike what Helden Ravensdorn said, look like frogs on steroids that cause you to turn into ugly frogs. Tagline for the Mahri : We make Makuta fish look hot.

I should get a nice new avvie as well... Hmm...

I live in Canada, and my TRU still has the full collection. So you might try there.

I'm in. Can we post MoC's of ours that we've already made, just not posted?

Not Liege? Well.... Leper outcast unclean! I see those pink hand of yours...

Lego for both singular and plural, LEGO if I remember to do so.

Why do so many people here dislike 2k4? It was my favorite year. Lhikan, Nidhiki's snapping claws[when the joints were fresh and stiff, you could hold a Toa Metru in the air], great canisters, and Golden Disks-A promotion that could be wrangled into canon- The Metruan are holding a lottery to win a Golden Kanoka. Wow! And the best movie. --And DON'T say they brought us cookie-cutter personae. Jaller, for all his caution, doesn't look back and regret his decisions. No Stone Toa but Onewa feels comfortable in the air 'Onewa swings from buildings. I fall off them' Whenua, BC#2. And Matoro seems a bit too wimpy to be like Nuju.

European or American, who is the better builder?
hewkii9 replied to morris's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Welcome to Eurobricks evilandy. And yes, I concur. Us Canucks are quite the Bear Riders. Just like those dudes from Eragon. I ride a white bear, Grrarrhr. I say that Canadians are the best builders, because we have pulled off some amazing building feats. CN Tower, Skydome[first rolling roof] Expo building in Montreal. And also our exorbitant prices allow us to be more selective with our buys, thus allowing for a more basic, and yet reminiscent, build. Okay, I just like Canada. And we have a lot more building experience, what with building igloos and all. And Brickster, I just love the fact they once made a Medieval Times set. -
Is the '07 Castle a step in the right direction?
hewkii9 replied to Echo's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I voted as good as KK, but that's just because I wasn't into Lego Lego [i liked BIONICLE]. So all I know of CC is a bunch of pictures and the knowledge that no soldier had a moustache. Just that durn smile. Besides, KK2 was pretty good this year, and last. We got rid of the jellybeans, and had a few preety good sets, like 8813. But don't get me wrong, I like this new line. -
I'm supposing it's accurate, since we already saw it, it's in a catalog, and there seem to be captions on it. Could someone please translate them for me?
-
That's what I meant.
-
What about Canada? And with what you're saying, one could come to the conclusion that with different prices, America could actually sell more sets, but that be cancelled out by Europe's varying and higher prices. So the balance would be about 50/50. Get my drift?

May I please have a pastry? All you cool super-hip awesome cats are way in the top whatever # of fellows there are of my kewl book. Thanks for showing us more about the groups. I didn't know that some non-mods had mod powers. P.S. Can I have a grape danish?
-
Hmmm..I'm not so sure either. I'll probably only get Crossbow Attack[3 minifigs and a horse, plus a nifty launcher] and Skeleton Prison Carriage [brown horse and nice design.] Lots of them look a bit dodgy. I wonder about The Final Joust...
-
All I see are links to the Holiday 2k6 catalog order page. Maybe you have the wrong links? EDIT: Never mind. I just needed to change the country. Looks nice. Where's that new Castle??? It's got those Bionicle activity books.

And then they run down the stairs [There are no escalators in BIONICLE, but next year we'll see some, because that was determined by a different team] and end up fighting Gollum for the One Ring, in a volcanic chamber. But then Captain Jack shoots a rifle and stops the Kraken. On the way up, Toa Lhikan dies to help further the cause of the Toa Metru. After this, Eragon consults with Ajihad to determine where he should go next. Question; This sounds nothing like the end of BL#5 with names changed, right?

I voted Scorpion Helmet. It's the type I have most of, and looks great. Plus it's pretty versatile. I would have voted Flared, but I only have two [from BaTP], and so I don't have that many uses for them yet.
-
What do you mean? Other then flared helms and cart wheels, I see nothing that can really be classsified as old. gylman: Queens, UofT. And isn't sales tax now 14%?

I'm not one really for bald minifigs.
