Robots, little monsters, giants, snake tail figures, etc... offer a diversity of very different figures, to make it more interesting. All those figures you find "cheap" require more design work and new molds making them more expensive than a minifigure... So calling it "cheap" is not the right word... :) Look at a playtheme as a kid would do. Stop counting parts and looking if a figure got legs or not...Is the figure cool? Does it open imagination? is it never seen before? This are the good questions. Kids will remember it to you... Uniformity is the biggest ennemy of imagination.

[MOC] Nexo knight : Jestro Wicked War Wagon (WIP)
Toth replied to ChristopheQ's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Very very nice! So much warhammer flavor in this model... Like the way you angled the Monsters heads. Give them even more aggressive look. Keep up the good stuff! :) -
Confirmation Flama and Moltor are Twin Brothers. Both males. There is a lot more interesting stuff to discuss about NexoKnight...Right?
-
Hi, I desiged the Nexo Knight characters and Flama is Male. You will see him in the TV show. He has been designed as Being twin brother with Moltor.. They are Twins but represent the 2 opposits of Lava form... liquid and rockyfied... I hope it answered the question definitly

Faefrost Why do Bird and Lizard Princesses have belly buttons? Think about it. Cause without it would look odd. And it is fantasy world. after all they are Humanoid animals with body looking 80% human. And thinking about them giving eggs is just stupid no?! :D

Thundercats Art Director Thinks Chima Is A Ripoff

Graysmith: As Mr Stafford worked on many of the Chima vehicles, then he was Inspired by himself... he will probably have a good laugh! ;) :D -
Thundercats Art Director Thinks Chima Is A Ripoff
Toth replied to Suspsy's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Lion-O is a human with some animal "paintings".... This is a HUMAN with a lion flavor...he got a human nose, a human mouth and eyes.... Chima is 100% animalistique. they got fur or feathers, claws, jaws, wings... Except it is on 2 legs, it is not "human". those toys made by Papo got more similarities with Chima than Thundercats got. -

Lego lost trademark challenge of usage of red 3D 2x4 rendering
Toth replied to Superkalle's topic in General LEGO Discussion
in France too. But Mega Block doesn't have succes here! always finishing in the 3 euros soldes! :D People always have to prefer quality! People have not to fall in the trap of the Cheapest...even if it looks attractive, at the end you don't have more than what you pay for. I prefer to pay more and have a little less than to have an enormous set with poor plastic and ugly design. I agree with the fact that concurrency is not always a good thing. the quality products have to be protected to stay quality products. savage concurrency can attrack everybody to the lowest quality, as we can see what happens with discount products lately The worst is that with time, lower quality products become as expensives as what quality products were before disapearing! :S ...Sad ultra liberal world. I hope people will wake up soon. -
best HP set ever for me. Full of details. Nice minis, Nices brick colors, Nice animals, nice Stickers. Nothing to change! All is perfect!

Nope, For sure they are not Lego. But they look to be nice toys anyway and it's not because it is not Lego you can't enjoy it! :) It looks more like some buildings/play set to extend the univers of little plastic Cowboys and indians. I searched a little on Google and found this: ExinWest / Exin West Toy Old-West Playsets, Buildings, Cowboys and Indians Play Sets Look here, line 9: http://www.drwebman.com/want/ and here: http://www.google.fr/images?um=1&hl=fr&tbs=isch%3A1&sa=1&q=Exin+West+Toy+Old-West+Playsets&btnG=Rechercher&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai= it looks it was really popular in Mexico in the 70's and 80's so those toys are vintage and if they are in good state, keep them preciously. Some people can be really interested! :) a little movie with a lot of thos sets you got. Lego definitly needs to do another wave of western sets!

haha! :D Excellent set! Good reuse of the space police torso/legs! I don't think, looking at his state, that the man on the torture table is suffering anymore... :D

just a little question for the Spartan mini. action figure: does it mean the large action figures or it can refer to a normal lego mini figure as they are action figures too... -

I like them both. My vote goes for TLG as it got a headgear that his far better. but the TLG headgear is specific to Aayla when the Arealight's one is done to fit to all kind of twi'leks. so hard to juge. and I agree with "Renegade Clone". Strangely, Aeralight's Aayla has got a more traditionna Lego style... TLG's clone war line is far from the Lego design especially with eyes. Manga/japanimation style of eyes... :S Arealight did an amazing work on the twi'leks and this when a lot of people were waiting for it. I already got a lot of twi'lek from Arealight (the first wave) and i think I will try to have the TLG version f Aayla even if it will be hard to have it for a reasonable price. Both are nice! :)
