Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
The Jersey Brick Guy replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Personally I feel we’re long overdue for a modular TV station, Radio Station and Hospital. All would have playability and haven’t been included in any previous modular. -

That's a great looking modular. The lantern festival Chinese new year set fits perfectly with the modular line. I would argue that it could be included with the others. -
You could always put the refreshment counter on jumper plates and raise it 1 plate to get rid of the tiles missing.

TLG Ban Custom Minifig Printing.
The Jersey Brick Guy replied to Peppermint_M's topic in General LEGO Discussion
What’s the likelihood of that happening though? Companies that large do not do anything unless there are contracts written that outline every inch of what is/isn’t allowed, accepted and so on. In regards to smaller companies that may be playing fast and loose, they can give away whatever they want. There’s nothing stopping a company from giving away anything as long as they don’t claim (written or verbal) to have any type of partnership with the company. The way I read this, is Lego is attempting to eliminate 3rd party competitors now that they are doing custom minifig printing. -
Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
The Jersey Brick Guy replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
Anyone else run into this issue recently? I placed a B&P order back on 6/15 and it’s been stuck in “backordered limbo” for the last month and half. I’ve spoken with LEGO employees twice now over the phone and they said the order passed their internal review (to make sure I’m not a reseller?) and don’t know why it’s taking so long. All the pieces are in stock and consist of pieces from the Blacksmith set, so they’ve been available for some time now. -
Wizarding World 2022 - Rumors & Discussion

With the train coming out and the limited shelf space in Lego stores, do we expect the Diagon Alley set to retire this year? (I’m not sure if it’s been discussed, and I don’t feel like going back through 131 pages) -

Exactly! I would love to see them try and bring a case in court about this. Seems moderate like scare tactics than anything else. As long as the 3rd party printers are not using LEGO trademarks or any other copyrighted material, they can do whatever they want with products they buy in the open market. Something I can see happening though, is LEGO threatening to pull any type of sponsorship from a convention if they allow the 3rd party printers to be vendors there. That’s the only way I can see this being enforced. -

Looking forward to getting some new Indy sets. I can see this theme getting 1-2 waves at max. -
Tour of my Lego Basement
The Jersey Brick Guy replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in General LEGO Discussion
They are all screwed together, so it would be moving everything at once. Eh. when I first started, I had 3 ikea tables that were easy enough to move and level. As to the basement, I’ve run out of excuses with redoing other parts of the house, so it’s pretty much all that’s left. -

The Jersey Brick Guy replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Yeah, the lighting makes it difficult to get good angles on some of the stuff. Refinishing the basement is another year or two away from getting done. Additionally, I’m not a fan of my tables at all, they are so heavy and at this point, impossible to move. -
Bare with me as this is my first attempt at making an YouTube video. Thoughts, comments, suggestions and subscriptions are most welcome!

I’ll be getting this for the collection for sure. The amount of small builds is great, and that Stark Expo map. I prefer the old Hall of Armor set up, so it’s not a big deal. I’ll also be stocking up on the sticker sheet for this set. Lots of useful bits in it. It’s a shame that we’re only getting one new Iron Man MK armor, I was hoping for at least two new sets for my HoA. $90 is a bit steep though. -

Classic base plates being retired by February 2022
The Jersey Brick Guy replied to wesker's topic in General LEGO Discussion
My understanding was they were not going to come in a plastic sleeve anymore. Lego is moving towards having all their packaging being recyclable.
