Indeed. This scene was meant to be instead of the space rock worm scene, they would go down the cave, but find it being the home for this beastie. The test audience ran for their lives and it caused two heart attacks, so the worm scene was put in instead. ;-)

"A darn good looking yellow and grey fighter built by Kikuichimonji that uses cogs and still looks great." "What is Jeopardy Mk. II?" "Correct!" "Over to the 1000$ question." Hehe, I think I dont need to say much more... But I do think something on the front would be nice, theres alot of small stuff and details on the rest, leaving this area to stand out a little. ;-)

Aye, good news. Looking forward to both reviews and sets here. The handguns and Tommyguns are interesting, and lots of good pieces for space and castle.

StarGate:SG1 and StarGate:Atlantis
The Hordesman replied to Peoples_General's topic in Culture & Multimedia
There is no physical or mental possibility for any humanoid being to draw a conclusion like that after one episode... Unlike movies, you must actually see a larger whole in order to like it or not. Sure, if its a type of series you dont like (lets say drama) its one thing, but if its within a theme you like then you must see a larger lot. Of course, if its the first episode and you dont like it, its a completely different thing- the first one must be better or equally good as the rest. -
Star wars sets we'd like to see
The Hordesman replied to Clone comander Nodra 999's topic in LEGO Star Wars
(EU) Bossk Camp Rescue Includes a speeder, two prison cages, two huts and a small command center. Figs included are: Han Solo, Chewbacca, 6 Wookies, 4 Bossks and 1 Bossk leader. For all your alien massing needs... -
Fantastic work! I like that there are some red detailing on it, but the claw could as said, be changed but I suppose you are perhaps not much for Bionicle. ;-)

Aye phes, read your review now and I'll say its a good one! :-) kimt, is giving it a 10 a way for you to "defend" Daredevil? I know when a crowd says they dont like what one likes a normal psychological defense mechanism is to go overboard in how much you like it. Compared to the comic, Im pretty sure it is far from as good, even though Im more of an anime guy I do know that Stan Lee must be better doing comics than that... Actually, I can only think of one movie that catches my fancy to give 10, and this movie has so many plot holes it will never come near a 10, If you like it alot I would say 8 as max, but 10- then we are talking Oscar prices and superior masterpieces. ;-) Well, atleast they removed the outdated idea that just some nuclear waste can give you super powers. :-D

StarGate:SG1 and StarGate:Atlantis
The Hordesman replied to Peoples_General's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I loved Stargate. But for some reason, just before they would air the last episode of the first season, they stopped sending the series, kind of lost my interest then. :'-( -
I was wondering since Best-lock weapons and the like are usable by minifigs, are the headgear that too? I was going to check on customization network but that section is down... Indeed, the set is awfully like the Fort Legoredo. No wonder why Lego grinds all clonebricks coming into europe...

You mean that there are like 20 samurais totally in the history of Japan? :-P Very good story! But perhaps there were a few historical misses, like that you explain as if every samurai slept simple, which is not true, but its no biggy. Perhaps you should have written about the goal of the story after it, because I knew there would be a twist from the beginning. ;-)

Good review! These new guys look very trollish and has therefore lured me out from the System hive a little. *sweet* This one is cool, but I dont like the white on it and the heads on the weapons... Gold and white doesnt really work together I think... Good to get three in one though, but I would prefer three of the green one... He looks the most trollish. *yoda* :-P

Darkie's Epic MOC: Vikings vs Convent
The Hordesman replied to Darkie's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I like it! Though, the viking horns drain the realism alot, its still very well done. My favorite part is the transparent studs around the Monastery's entrance. Why? Well, if the viking part with its incoming waves was not a part of it, it would look as rain instead of flowing water, and I think its a really cool idea that sprung from an already cool MOC ;) My only critisism is the horned vikings and I think the Monastery could need some decoration around the entrance, like something cut out of the stone above the doors, and another color than tan for the doorholder pieces. -
HOT NEWS!!! New Knights Kingdom 2: Year 3 Images so check
The Hordesman replied to Skinny Boy's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Aye, ye catched my drift. ;-) Unfortunatly, though it may sound wierd, I was hoping for more Shield of Ages. Why? Well, I wanted a special army within the Morcian ranks that used the shield as their standard one since its the national symbol of Morcia, but we're getting it in a larger set so I wont do that then. Not a big deal really, but it would be nice with it being more common... But thinking in others place, I guess that would be a nightmare. X-D -
Me neither, these has been seen a thousand times. The pics (that are better than the old ones) are currently discussed in the Pirate & Castle section.

What was the last movie you watched?
The Hordesman replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Office Space. -
Please do not overuse spaces! I was unable to read your review! There was only one suprise in this movie- the journalist guy being good. Other than that, it wasnt much to see. The Stan Lee cameo was a fun detail though, being a copy of the event that inspired him to make Daredevil, or so Ive heard.

The Hordesman replied to Skinny Boy's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Grandeur. Apart from the thing you meant to show with this pic, I found a nice little thing: The front of Vladek's armor has a black print with scorpion heraldry, or perhaps even a speckled metal front print? Looks awesomely nice. Feels like we will get Classic Castle-ish sets within a year... Mwhahaha. *skull* -
PCS Rolls on with a couple new things...
The Hordesman replied to Admiral Giddens's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Hockey armor. Astro One is really cool- it doesnt look very big but inside its HUGE! However, I do think the president demands something bigger- with pool tables, beds, swimming pool and stuff like that. As with all Pre-classic space vehicles, I really like the engines and look, it really looks more like something built in the 2030's than something built in the 2100's. -
Re-statement; there are some plot problems with the story (as to were to put in the saga) but then, its no big deal since its a good comic, and will probably continue being so.
-
The backside is grand, but as said, the middle is too flat and looks wierd because of it.

Two Star Wars characters needed.
The Hordesman replied to JoeMI6's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Why not? If a seller got lots of good feedback its flawless. -
Even though some of your earlier had a few logical mistakes, theyre really well made and a fun read. Its too bad there are so many idiots leaving idiotic comments to the pictures, though...
-
I can definetly not watch "days of our lives"; the dialog is laughable, the acting is mediocre, the story is wierd, and its pretty much something that tries desperatly to stay alive. No, I dont like it. But then, perhaps Im just going with the flow since soaps are considered "fjortis" here, and "fjortis" is NOT what you want to be.
-
Aye, this is what a proper sets is all about mateys. Good colors, alot of figs, one of few smilie pirates, flag and lots of small details and stuff.

Who is Google.com that frequently shows up on the members list?
The Hordesman replied to Chuck's topic in Community
I believe it means that this site is listed on google, and is not just a member.
