  1. It's based on the JCB 260, which has one arm. I think it's quite efficient as it enables the operator to get in and out more easily.
  2. What the actual hell?! Good luck TLG, look forward to seeing how many sell for that price. MIGHTY EDIT: The sets slated for January have materialized on S@H for the UK. The buggy is much more reasonably priced over here at £119.99. Nice variety and prices over the whole range too!
  3. So most of the 1H wave is released in February? Is that just NZ, or does it go for everyone?
  4. Are you trying to incur the wrath of @Sariel?
  5. Either that or he has a time machine.
  6. Stray observations: The B-models are cool, but I seriously thought TLG would be past the whole "B-model skips the stickers" thing by now. What are the gigantic bumpers about, exactly? We can see that the real trucks don't have them. @Sariel points out in his 42122 review that the tyres therein are quite sturdy, so why not include them in sets that really are built for them?
  7. Are they, though? The only designer known to hang around here is @grohl. Personally I'd love it if other designers were lurking - it'd be great to chat with Michael or Uwe, or see @Saberwing40k offering a grovelling apology to Lars T.
  8. I'm sure Lars Thygesen will be delighted to know what you think of his work.
  9. The heck with that, stick 'em on 42080.
  10. It's be cool to have Power Puller tyres with chevron tread! But I think we'll have to be content with the Jeep tyres for now.
  11. Going OT now, but yeah they are. They're even designated as LSW, which stands for "Low Side Wall".
  12. I think it'll work okay so long as the bucket is kept level.
  13. Think I've figured out why these sets don't use the tractor tyres. It may be because those tyres aren't as rigid as the balloon tyres, and thus might not perform as well when the truck is pulled back.
  14. It is underrated. Sure, it's one of Alfred's, but I never got the impression that it's unpopular.
  15. Low sidewall isn't a bad way to go. The world's biggest tractor tyre has low sidewalls, as seen here.
  16. Brilliant work! You've used the parts to amazing effect - I like the black rails around the headlamps especially.
  17. That's 14:00 in my neck of the woods.
  18. 42101 is indeed a cool set. The B-model is good as well; the jack is a great play feature.
