  1. I did post an image of the EC500 here. But I can see what you're talking about; this looks more like the version TLG is going with. Plus, now I can definitely see where 2400 parts would go. I'm guessing there'll be a lot of tubing used in the same way as on 42100. Exactly.
  2. Be great if it has the network of safety rails from the image.
  3. An EC750 would be a better choice in that case. A hammer is also a demolition attachment, so it still qualifies. A shear would have been cooler, though. How would a hammer even work? Maybe something like the pile driver from 42082.
  4. Hmm. Would that scale accomodate nearly 2400 parts? Remember that the EC230 is accompanied by a truck, a trailer, and a power unit, all of which combined use less parts than that.
  5. If the EC500 also comes with a bucket, and it's built to scale with previous sets, then the bucket is going to be mahoosive. Think something in the same range as the Liebherr bucket.
  6. Well, let's take a decko at this 🐕: We have the turret rotation, the tilting cab, the boom, the dipper stick, the wrist, the tilt-rotator, and the shear. Oh, and the cab door.
  7. TLG, WHAT IN THE EVERLOVING NAME OF SHIT ARE YOU TRYING TO DO TO ME?
  8. The only CON+TROLL models I own are 42099 (because it was half price) and 42114 (because it's a Volvo A60H). Other than that, I refuse to give this overpriced, overcomplicated, overhyped rubbish any of my time.
  9. Well, TLG seemed to think that 42006 was an excavator.
  10. Sounds like another nothing-burger of a year for this theme. Man, Technic is in the toilet.
  11. We have a Future Set Wishes and Speculation thread for this sort of post.
  12. TLG is confirmed as an exhibitor, so something is gonna be shown.
  13. I'd personally like a Re-Tail trailer with Reese and Cyrus. In fact, a Harv's Island set with several trailers would be cool.
  14. A fishing set with C.J. would be cool. Or the Paradise Planning offices with Lottie and Wardell. Or, y'know, just more squirrels.
  15. The fact that 42004 appears in neither list confirms my suspicion that both are total crap.
  16. Wonder if the L120H will have a charging port that can connect to the unit from 42175.
  17. Sariel review, I do, I do, etc. One of the cons is actually pretty damning.
  18. No. But the Audi tyres would look way better. I don't see why TLG wouldn't use them.
  19. I think it's more or less a foregone conclusion that the Volvo will use the tyres from 42160.
  20. Brickset has posted a review of the skid steer polybag! Sadly, it's normal orange.
