What a great review. That sure is a lot of cheese slopes, 80!!!! i thought I bought a lot from a pick a brick purchase earlier this month, but 80 is a lot. I really like these architecture series, but they are too expensive for what they are. Your review is great though.

You hit it out of the park too. It really has the fabuland feel. I love the hut, and the croc's fishing is the perfect position for a couple of fabuland fig's.

This doesn't seem out of the ordinary. PotC is a big license for TLG, and with more movies, there is no doubt an ongoing product line. There have been numerous SW clocks, and they must have been good sellers for TLG.

That's the real deterring factor here. They need to focus on licenses that they know there will be a market for. Making LEGO fig's for a game that's been out of production for a long time isn't a wise move. Although I agree it'd be awesome.

The staff got sick of seeing the phrase Keep on Brickin , since it was appearing way way way too much on the forum. As for the midi scale stuff, I saw it more as a test from TLG, to see if there was a market. I think with no fig's they did not sell well, although i bought both, and love them, since sometimes you just want a model, and not a play set.

I actually picked up the new Falcon for retail form the Mall of America LEGO store, along with my first Pick A Brick Cup. I'm addicted to those damn pick a brick walls.

I was just at Target and they had all the new SW stuff. Not sure about mace's star fighter, I wasn't paying that close of attention, but they didn't have the new stuff last week. Although I'm sure this varies by state, region, etc.

You are the new modular king as far as I'm concerned. I love the individual rooms, and the details. The cabinet with the gold tops is great, and although a design that seems like common sense now that I see it, the stairs and pillars around it are brilliant.

Wow, both are outstanding. I may have never been to Japan but I get the feel of it from these MOC's. I love the interior design. I always am amazed at the interiors if the outsides look so good, you MOC'ers are like mini architects. Really great work, I want noodles now.

Not bad, not bad at all. The hands do look a little small compared to the rest of the design, but I'm not quite sure what I'd replace them with.
