  1. I like the design of these but they are a bit too overpriced for what you get if you ask me.

Wow, this is without a doubt the nicest escape pod I have ever seen made out of LEGO. I love all the details that really make this look authentic. Even if they aren't authentic greebles.
  3. That's hilarious. SNOT was likely invented by TLG, I just wish more sets would use it. It makes everything look so clean. Then again studs are LEGO's roots. It's a tough call. I think it's safe to say that SNOT has been around a long time.
  4. Very nice, the tan is a little bland, but the building and design with th ewhite and tan is great, you could easily subsititue other colors using your design for a multitude of great buildings. This fits right in with the modular sets. Really nice job.
  5. I agree, availablity is probably going to be your biggest factor. The tan pieces for me will forever be PoP pieces though. I'd really like to see a ship in that color though, I'm sure it would quickly change my mind.
  6. The rumor is that they will be going away. Which I am fine with. I'll buy them like I do now. In bulk. I buy as many as I can get my hands on and then afterwards I look at them with the barcodes, so it won't affect me all that much.
  7. Seems opinions go both ways. I personally love the bigger grander sets, but then again I don't own any due to the price. Cheaper sets would be more accesable, but was that TLG intent? I don't think so. A UCS lightsaber does make sense, but to make it lifesize, it would take a massive amount of bricks, and I fear would actually end up costing hundreds. Just in the shear number of bricks. Of course if they don't go lifesize, it would be much more affordable. I think the UCS sets are fine the way they are, the regular SW line is getting so good they rival the UCS sets at time I think.
  8. Now that is amazing. The bricks that are lit up just plain don't look like they should be able to light up. I'm just amazed at how you were able to do that. You really made these sets look good. Even batter than LEGO themselves could.
  9. Can minifig fit in there? I know there are many 5 and 6 wide vehicles on EB in the towm forum, if you only search, I bet you'll find them
  10. Good question. I like it although it resembles the little droid pods quite a bit.
  11. I like this quite a bit, the photography angle really helps sell it. The cutom fig's fit the bill and the foliage is great.

  13. Indeed Skalldyr, your idea really stole the show, and it was insanely clever.
  14. I immediately thought Thundercats! Hoooo! Nice design, it looks very organic. Like a real animal.
  15. Awsome reviee Clonie. I wanted this set due to the good pricepoint and number of figs, but after seeing the details up close. I thinking I'm going to buy it sooner. I love the different heads you get and sell the specialty pieces. Smashing review on top of a cool set.
  16. Very interesting, I think I like it so much because I've never seen it before. I have some EU knowledge, but obviously I haven't seen them all.
  17. I love fabuland figs. I'm thinking about ordering a lot of them off of eBay or bricklink one day. Eitherway, I love the station, specifically that door. I love how its smooth and tiled yet cross sectioned to look like real planks of wood. Really nice.
  18. Rufus you have with no doubt in my mind become one of the premiere reviews on this forum. I want this set, mainly for the figs, but the more I look over your reviews, the more I want the ship too. I love your reviews, they are just awesome!
  19. We always gets the crappier versions of almost everything, it still KS, the US has some weird policies and rules. I have a 2007 Yamaha R6 Leaning over is creepy at first, you just don't think the bike will grip. I'm not sure how far you can lean I'm yours because the tires are quite thin, but unless your on a track, you'll probably. Never find that limit
  20. My first contest win ever. I'll take number 2 please.
  21. Happy free LEGO day! That's what birthdays are right?
  22. Welcome to the forum. Glad to see a proper introduction. I hope you stick around and enjoy the place.
  23. Small, cute, yet functional. I've actually been in ashop where pretty much everything is at the counter where the clerk is. Are you planning a winter town with all of these?
  24. That's awesome. I must say building with technique looks alot harder than building with regular LEGO. I take my hat off to you guys.
  25. Nice picturesque and thanks for sharing your technique. I'm sure its very welcomed to all the amateur photographers out there.
