Well I have magix movie edit pro 14! it cost about 89.00 bucks and has a lot of options way more then windows! in all my movies I can add soundtracks add multiple sfx at the same time. Its a pretty good program it takes a little bit to get use to, and I think if you go to there website you can get a trial version to see if you like it, before you buy it..

I bought the fabric at a store called wal*mart if you live in the U.S then you probably know what store that is. Its a heavy duty fabric that is stiffer then normal fabric... they have it in this white color i used and also they have a dark cream color that is really good as well to make weathered sails with

I didn't even see the set with the 2 soldiers but that is a perfect set that should be a cheap price to buy multiple of them :-)

I think im going to get into castle theme this year! I'm a big pirate fan but seeing how in 2010 theirs only 1 set available I'll have to keep occupied with some new stuff. I really love the human vs. human its more realistic, the whole skeleton and troll thing was to fantasy for me, i didn't care for the old castle sets except the midevil village! I will definitely be purchasing this whole collection and pry multiple sets... Only 1 downfall theirs no army builder sets, i mean i love the wizard and new jester but i only really need 1 each of those guys and to put them in a small impulse set is kinda stupid in my eyes!

Well if you looked at a lot of the old Lego catalogs or idea books they'd always show the pirates winning the battles. So you'd think they'd want the good guys to win so maybe the pirates were the good guys and the imperials were a greedy evil empire!

Yeah it was alot of frames, it was 1,439 the movie took about 2 months to complete! we are going to make a 3rd one by next year, but are also considering on some other short pirate movies to make hopefully soon!

So does this mean pirates is not canceled? This ship is awesome I hope with the sale of this ship the Lego company will see how well liked pirates are. Maybe put some more effort into there future sets!!! I cant wait till January everybody save your x-mas money!!!

87b Here is a link to my latest creation. I actually built this ship about 6 months ago but did some re-construction on it! I added more cannons and re-did the back end of the ship.It has 14 cannons and 4 small cannons 2 in the front and 2 in the rear.Also i have custom made sails I know a guy who does iron on transfers, thats how i got the huge imperial flag sails! Personally I don't care about Lego being historically accurate!It all comes down to the quality of the sets they make for us to enjoy. One thing I'm dissapointed about is the lack of base plates, Lego has got away from using base plates they were the most important piece to the set. It would always provide a sturdy base for your fortress castle etc. Now when I go to pick up a Lego set now like soldiers fort the thing breaks all apart... I wish lego would spend more time on there own themes then the star wars, indy, and other licensed sets and go back to the old days and just make there own ideas like city, castle, pirates space etc! The new pirate theme so far is ok I own all the sets and there all decent. Just hope we can see some bigger and better sets for 2010

This set looks worth buying!!! I mean i know the figs have cheap dis colored hands but the solution for that is eBay!!! Just buy a bulk lot of lego minifig hands for a few bucks! And who cares about the epaulettes you get tons of extras in all the new sets!!

I don't know if someone has said it or not yet but what about a governors mansion? It could have the Governor plus his wife and maybe feature like a tea party with some servants!!! and maybe a horse with a carriage parked in front that would be cool to me!

Yeah i realize now its certain stores... But the jungle cutter was on sale at my walmart as well. i'm gonna go to another wal mart today to see what other clearance legos they have, this could be a great way to get pieces!

I went to 2 Walmarts, the first 1 had loot island for 13 dollars, also had cannon battle for 4.50 i bought them.My total was 24.64 for loot island and 2 cannon battles... they also had the kraken attacken for 7.00. What shocked me was the Indiana Jones set the one with the plane and gas truck was 35.oo, and this was no sale they all were marked with the red tag clearance sticker! 2nd walmart pirates were regular price but all the old Indiana Jones sets again were priced low and red tagged clearance so it may be select stores...

NO ITS TRUE I WENT TO MY LOCAL WAL MART AND LOOT ISLAND WAS 13 BUCKS AND CANNON BATTLE WAS 4.50 AS WELL AS ALL THE OLD INDY LEGO SETS I DONT KNOW WHY THERE SO CHEAP EITHER?????

This set is cool but is lacking some mini figs, they should have added c-3po and atleast 2 stormtroopers as well...
