  1. If I recall it was a little less than 100. Which was the original price to begin with. The front cockpit piece alone was 20.
  2. Pretty much your best bet is to wait until somebody posts it on Craigslist that doesn't know what it's really worth. Other than that it's hard to find retired sets without crazy inflated prices. You could also use brinklink to buy each peice individually, and get the instructions separately. I did that with the UCS Tie Interceptor. Other than that your for the most part out of luck. I was actually looking at Corner Cafe this past weekend as well, didn't find anything new under 200.
  3. It looks like Merlin entertainment is palnning to announce the plans for a new lego themed water park at Legoland California Resort later this week, as well as the plans to open a lego hotel as part of a large 2010 expansion. I cant wait! My guess is this is to keep up with the 1.2+ billion dollar expansion happening at the Disneyland Resort. Source: http://screamscape.com/html/legoland_california.htm
  4. 50 bucks for 24 minifigs? That's a steal!!!!!
  5. Hey EB. I am in the middle of a big move to a new home, and it's about a 1 hour drive from where I am currently. I am just about to start packing my room and was wondering what sort of measures I should take to protect my lego sets and creations, it's going to be a bumpy ride. Thanks! Kyle
  6. I would love to go to Disneyland Paris, I live down the street from the original Disneyland Park in Anaheim, CA. (and the lego store Anaheim), but I'd love to see the vast differences between the two resorts.
  7. That's what I do haha. I have an annual pass to Disneyland and go to Legoland whenever im up for the drive.
  8. It looks like merlin entertainment (the company who designs legoland) is scouting a new location for a 2nd Legoland park in Orlando, that will be the biggest of all the legoland parks. Read more here. Here's a link to the article http://www.screamscape.com/html/legoland_2.htm
  9. I have one of the Kenner 1984 Imperial Shuttles, and yours is almost spot on to the real thing! Awesome job!
  10. Anybody notice the use of Lego's in the trailer? That might explain the recent connection between Disney and Lego, the Toy Story set's will definitely revolve around what is in the 3rd movie, I am gonna see this! Plus I love Pixar films, UP was great!
  11. Yep, I think it might have been an error. I am waiting for my email confirmation to find out. EDIT: Wow, Just got the order confirmation. Hah. I guess it's legit. I lucked out :p
  12. Lego.com was selling the Rock Wrecker and Crystal king for 4.99 each. I picked up both of them and my grand total was about 16 dollars. But I recently checked back, it's not on lego.com anymore, so the sale only lasted about 2 hours, and they were gone. Heres some more info about the deal. http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.ph...0&t=1363165
