  1. Amazing review! Very thorough! This is a set i've wanted for quite a long time. You might have just pushed me to buy it when I get some more money. :p
  2. Just one little update. I got rid of the black screen and lever and added a large sort of engine type structure to that leg of the turret.
  3. Oh please, one rock disappears and instantly the world is coming to an end because of "Global Warming". Sheesh.
  4. OMG that red and black dropship is SEXY!!!!!!! :D
  5. Definitely the Modulars, I am going to pick up a GG, but I don't know weather to store it or build it, it's such a pretty set but I know I could make SUCH good money off it.
  6. That's awesome!!!! I love the sleek design of it, it makes it feel heavy like a real sub. Also love the torpedo! Awesome work!
  7. I love all the positive feedback! I definitely wasn't expecting it since it's my first moc. I do agree that the monitor in the corner is probably the only thing holding it back, when I get some more pieces that's the first thing I plan on changing. Any good tips for sets that have good number of detail pieces, i'm thinking the Magna-Fighter.
  8. Hey guys, I am happy to finally post my first moc. It's a heavy duty anti-space ship Artillery Gun. I don't have to many pieces (pretty much made up of Droid Tri-Fighter/Mid Scale Falcon Pieces. I am open to critiscism, I'd love to hear what you guys think!
  9. There's no need for the green plate at the bottom. Those were used because with the soldiers in Toy Story, they had green plates at the bottom to hold them up. Love the use of the Star Wars face!
  10. WOW! That doesn't even look like lego! I can't wait to see it in it's entirety!
  11. I picked up one of those grab bags today, for the first time. I LOVE IT! I got at least 2 dozen printed pieces, 1 very flamboyant minifig lol, and I will be going back tomorrow to pick up another grab bag and ask for star wars pieces. Also they said they were all out, but the person just said I can make you one right now, and went into the back and did. Seriously good deal.
  12. I love how unique this building is, especially how you integrated the pillars into the building, that looks awesome. Also I can't wait to see the full diorama!
  13. 5% for AFOL is huge. That makes me hope that lego will set releasing a set a two geared specifically towards adults.
  14. Yes, shipping is expensive :) I always go to the Lego Store, it's cheaper, on top of that I get 10% off because im special :)
  15. I'd go to Walmart. TRU is insanley overpriced, and unless target still has the mini x-wing (which I doubt), their prices are about the same as legos, if not a little bit higher. I'd stick with the Lego Store.
  16. The neck in the picture is droppy too so your fine :D
  17. The awesome thing is at Disney's California Adventure there is a Green Army Men band, exactly like in the pic. Aha! (there's usually 4 of them that do the show)
  18. The Glendale Galleria Lego Store is where you want to go if you only care about PAB. The Anaheim store is bigger though, and they have awesome lego displays like a full sized giraffe, darth vader, R2-D2, Life Size Bionicle, and a city scape that towers above the store, but the Anaheim PAB is a joke, it's a small corner with really few bricks. But I like the atmosphere and I get 10% off at the Anaheim Downtown Disney location because I am a Disneyland Annual Passholder.
  19. I'm getting some cash soon, I plan on doing some spending at the Lego Store in Anaheim. My budget is 150. I am interested in the Green Grocer but not sure. (I get 10% off) Any ideas?
  20. If you guys are familer with MicroCenter electronics stores. They recently started selling legos and their prices are kind of off which is awesome. The clone wars AAT is only 39.99
  21. XD!!!! I've heard that before lmao
  22. Nope I am broke. Want to buy me some legos lmao
  23. I can just imagine this thing SQUASHING the USC Snowspeeder. XD! Amazing work my friend.
  24. I am totally open about it. Everybody knows I know, knows. Whenever I go to Downtown Disney with friends I always RUN into the Lego Store, even if I never told them about my legoy passion. Also for my Computer Applications class, I had an assignment to do a presentation on something that interests us, and I did mine on Lego. Also my GF know's and doesn't support my love for the bricks, but she is open to it. I told her when I get more money I am going to buy her a big set. Aha, let's hope that goes well. She says I should be into things that other 20 year olds are into so I reply, "like what", she says "I don't know". Now my gundam and star wars figure hobby, I am a bit less open to, but still fairly open to it.
  25. I am a broke lego fan because of my overpriced school. My entire collection currently consists of the Mid-Scale Falcon and Droid Tri-fighter. I am open to donations XD
