I've had it yesterday! And I noticed that the posts for the lighttower are different than in the instruction. in the instruction, they are like in the building crane (a triangular base with 3 roll and a triangulation structure). and here, they are different, there is only one roll and it is full under the tow other...

Sorry, but you have not seen the LEGO logo! It is in the hollow stund! I have to recognize that they are well hidden! :-D

When I see my old sets with the bricks which wear the scare of my childhood, I can't stop thinking that the new sets wouldn't resiste so well in similar conditions! Now I take care of my bricks (not in my mouth, not too long trough the sun,...)! With the soft feeling bricks, you can damage them just trying put them off with your nails!

I voted for the imperila flagship. It looks better than the two other. The caribbean clipper looks older and the Armada flagship too modern. I think that the imperial flgship has a better colorscheme than the others. I have the Armada flagship, and the minifigs are really great (heads so beautifull, torso, helmet and the chrome part, I like it!)

What a bad news! I really want those spongebob sets (krusty krab and bikini bottom, but not the big bob)! :'-(

In the French catalogs, there is no price! exept to the S@H one, that it is normal. Is it the same thing with playmobil catalog? I'm not fond of playmo, but I have some catalogs and no prices too. Maybe when the price is in the catalog, it is the same in all the stores. In France, it's not the case, there is some differences (just 1 or 2

I kwow what you feel about! My mother is the same. But I have to recognize that I can't let my town in the living room when I'm at home (only the holidays). And the rest of the time, I'm without my town in my student room, but I have some LEGOs, I couldn't live without them! :-D

It's like me! That is why LEGO is so cool! I see some classic town set like the restaurant and the cottage, good. But it miss a global pic of your city... Could you take it please? thanks in advance... oh, and good LEGO birthday! ;-)

Brick Miner, we see an artist spirit in your work, and more with your explanations. We see that it is a worked work! I can imagine how hard it was to mix together the differnt themes of this forum!

Me too! I was 7-8 years old, my first big technic set! all the mecanisms are hard for such a young boy IMO...

I have rebuilt my 6559 this morning just before to go to work (it's dangerous, it's a good way to forget the time :-D ). So I wait your review Hobbes to see what you will say about this set. For my part, I have some additionnal animals like a seastar, a krab and a shell which came from the belleville line. It gives it a more undersea feeling...

Thanks Phoinix, it's a good finding: I will make my own cargoship based on the police one... I need time, I need vacation to have the time to create! in 4 days...

V-LC-18E When I bought the heavy loader 7900 a few weeks ago, I didnt want to keep it like this, because it is too big to go to my town. This truck is oversized compared to the minifig scale. So, I decided to make a smaller one, with the same general look for the car and using most of the original parts. I make a 6 studs large one instead of the 8 of the original truck. And the car looks good too I think, with a more traditional LEGO looking. When the car was finished, I just have to make the trailer. I decided to make this truck an exceptional convoy, so the can be 8 studs large. But what can this trailer could transport? First I think of the digger, but its too big. So I decided that the truck will transport the bungalow of the construction site. And the crane just has to take the bungalow out of the truck. Now some pics: The whole truck front The whole truck back The car truck The trailer with the bungalow The trailer without the bungalow

BK because the first Black casttle was my fisrt casttle and my first big set! And it looks so good with a very great design and a good playability

I don't find this castle so wonderfull. and one think that ii find very horrible is the gost! So horrible! I have an old one that looks more like a gost! I mean it has a black head like the new one but you can't see the head through its cloth. and some legs, what a silly idea, a gost doesn't have ones! and the worts of the wors, the yellow hands :-X ! Why TLC doesn't use white ones? But the reurn of the chrome greatsword is a very good thing! Good work Dunamis, I just want to add that the non-yellow minifig are the licenced ones.

I totaly agree with you Hobbes, so totaly disagree with you Jinzoningen 73! My mum nurses some children, and when I make my trains, they are very happy. When their parents came, they absolutly wanted to show them my trains! And a train without a track is not a train, you can't make it turn! The problem is the price, like evreybody knows. Maybe a solution is to sell trains without regulator to let the consumer the choice to invest in it, so if he has already one, the train pack would be cheapper (I've got 3 regulator, only one is usefull) Another way to make the trains more attractive is to develop some sets to integrate it well in a town like the crossroad or the so wonderfull train garage ref 10027! so sets with tracks and roads will be very interesting!

Asuka, on this boat, all the "potentialy printed things" are stickers.

Maybe but there is not only 1969 in the history of the world! During the end of the 80's and the beginning of the 90's, they shown the Cousteau discovery on tv the saturday, and we watched them. Armstrong appears more like a stranger than Cousteau for me (maybe I'm too young to be marked by the armstrong adventur!)
-
Yes, it's in your mind! you're not in all the children head!
-
I'm not agree with that Natelit. In fact, when I was a child (I was born in 1984), I spent more time seeing the Cousteau shows that space tv series. I collect all the Cousteau small paper in my grand mother TV program! the sea always make me dream and a bit afraid, a lot more than space, because is a facinated world that you can explore in real. I remebered the firts time I saw a rorcal or those beautifull shark in a aquazoo. It was magical! I don't have the opportunity like you XWingYoda, but I have already do some boat like trimaran, and it was a really great day for me! sea means liberty and quite to me. and a JT divers line would be great! oh, I'm aquarius... a destiny sign?

morten_sonne, you've got a good idea for train, after the hospital! and why not the racer departure, TLC has made some of them...

I learn a new english world, with the good meanning! stupid translator site! The discussion about the fact to play make me smile, because I never played with LEGO! I mean I never take the minifig and make them speak or move. Sometimes I imagine some stories with my set, but it's all. I prefered to build, look, contemplate and play with the mechanism like a door trap or the head of the death whale in the case of divers line. I like to build them again and again and make my own model, in other word some child mocs. So to have an underwater theme without water or space without space were not a problem for me :-D

snefroe1, in the train and town parts, you will find some city defenders! Aux armes citoyens! :-D
