Question is if there is possibility od BWE as smallest sets, that volvo or claas will be motorized.I assume that IP car is motorized also, so two motorized set in one year will be interesting twist.I will be dissapointed, because I see motorized set less fun to build with higher price...Im not fan of lego motorization, so question is to wait for new info or buy Arocs for this christmas...

Im not lego agent , I only know that there were few events where they promote BMW in enormous way http://www.bmwpedia....x1-lego-edition and http://www.ubergizmo.com/2012/04/bmw-i8-now-in-lego/ .Also creator Mini cooper is BMW license.

Cwetqo say that prices for second half are these 50, 150, 220 and 300 all in euros.So second biggest set must be something big.Ip car is rumoured as UCS withv300€ price range.

Both can be biggest in their own way.BWE can have similar piece count as arocs because can be without fully motorization.Ultimate ip car can be fully motorized with same amount of pf elements as volvo loader plus about 2000 pieces and licensing so price 300 euro make sense.Price for second biggest set is rumoured 220 euro.

Can you imagine biggest landmachine ever as smallest lego technic set?This will be very bad set...Also I never saw BWE MOC that use small number of parts, I think its impossible to archieve every function in small size, probably is but it will be pretty shitty..Also when lego started with five digit number , there is order in set list.Higher number mean higher price.Except two pullback racers from first year when they started with this Volvo can be smallest, this can be archieved with pneumatic parts easily.Power functions can be optional, Xerion can be something like red pickup from two years before.Same tyres and piece count. BWE flagship for second half.

I think that there is patent for i8 body so if lego use it without license, they will going to have some issues wit bmw.As I said there is ongoing collaboration with bmw so they probably asked bmw or bmw asked lego.But still why they use i8 is mystery, they can made noname supercar.I think this is some kind of hint...edit-Maybe that IP car is some kind of autonomous vehicle or vehicle with mindstorms elements, to promote that innovation at play.This can justify that price, or its really complex...

Sheepo made outstanding i8 http://www.sheepo.es/2015/07/bmw-i8-spyder.html .Also lego with BMW make huge brickbuild i8 so there is possibility that BMW want to promote final version of i8 as set, Ithink this cannot be coincidence that they use this car in technic commercial. Lets wait and we will see...

Cwetqo say that there are sets priced 220€ for regular flagship and 300€ for ip car.If we assume that BWE is regular flagship price is higher than arocs .So there is really possibility that piece count will be higher.BWE are impressive machinery so lego version must be impressive too.

Thanks for info about that belt system, but I find for showcase purpose mininig truck next to BWE very interesting. As I say BWE is probably flagship without RC and ultimate car is flagship with rc because price seems to indicate this.

I only hope that Bucket wheel excavator is compatible with mining truck from this year.This would be epic! Also I think that BUWEEX will these functions powered by xl motor.Powered belts and bucket wheel, rotating of body, lifting of arm and motorized threada.

I have hunch, that they use rims from 42036 motorbike to make wheel with arocs scoops for bucket wheel excavator. There is possibility to use this wheel as something another than only rims for tyres see set 75040 http://lego.brickinstructions.com/75000/75040/010.jpg . What do you think?

Yes they probably end when they make some huge mistakes again.What mistakes I think for example quality of bricks become worse thanks to new materials...
