I like the idea of a Yavin IV set. Much like the Death Star and upcoming Millenium Falcon which depict scenes from different movies, we could see a Yavin base that has characters and scenes from Rogue One and A New Hope (and maybe even Rebels since we know the show is heading that way). And I would like to see an X wing with interchangeable red and blue parts so it could be either Red or Blue Leader's X wing.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 17 Rumors and Discussion
Tariq j replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I think another you have to consider is that kids aren't going to be jumping on Lego News Sites trying to catch up on all the CMF info months before release, unlike us AFOL's. So naturally there's going to be more of an element of surprise when it comes to them. I like the figure it could make a Me/Ashildr figure from Doctor Who and those legs could go well on Anakin.- 1,421 replies

A certain Manatte has arrived, at my doorstep! Thanks so much for the figures Copmike, they look amazing!

Eurobricks Admin: Star Wars moderating team, these trolls are proving particular stubborn, how do you intend to solve this problem? Star Wars Mods: We need someone who sees a bigger picture... Trolls: The mods are getting better at anticipating our moves, I underestimated the moderator in charge of the forum. Stash: To defeat an enemy you must know them...

I agree, this is a really good MOD the seats look much better, have you done the first Phantom as well?

It looks a good polybag, its an original take on an old figure, and it's a lot better than last years FO stormie. I might phone the Bluewater store tomorrow to have absolute confirmation it is the May 4th Promo.

General Discussion and Announcements
Tariq j replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I sense a new Mafia Game in the force... Coming soon hopefully -
The original image (as far as I can tell) was a digital reconstruction of the set. So my guess is, when they were remaking the set in LDD (or whatever program they used) based of the images they had seen, they made a mistake on the number of Guavian Troopers.
-
Well I think depending on when/where you grew up will depend on what version of the show you like best. Maybe if this was to become a set, they could have all the characters from the US version, plus one or two characters from the UK version like Tim Canterbury and David Brent so you could mix and match as you liked.
-
You may be correct there, I mean the term itself "action figure" is a marketing term/ploy used by toy companies so they're able to sell dolls to boys (as dolls is associated with more female products like Barabie etc.) By definition, Lego minifigures are not action figures as they aren't dolls, so whether they fit into the contract we don't know.
-
To each their own I guess. I'd also like to see Jet troopers and various other types of Stormtroopers, but for me they'd be better off in Battle Packs where they would be easy to army build as oppose to rare polybags.
-
Definitely, and not to mention we could get a lot of dual molded figures and slightly obscure characters who wouldn't normally appear in sets.
-
I think it's because Hasbro own the license for action figures, Hence why Lego can't do their own CMF for Star Wars. (Or Marvel for that matter)

Kanan and Ezra's conversation at the start of the episode mimicked Obi Wan and Anakin's in Episode 3, I was sure Kanan was going to die! Heck even by the Bendu himself. It was great to see Kallus survive the Episode, and I think these episodes really showed his bravery since he was constantly laughing and making snide remarks behind Thrawn's back, even though he was at gunpoint and could have been killed at any point during the episode. The Space and ground battles were good, my only qualm was that I would've liked to see more familiar faces like Wedge, Gold Leader, Hobbie etc. As oppose to random, generic pilots.

There's the Snowtrooper Rebel figure which works fairly well:

Rebel Scum! How dare you suggest the Empire's Victory is simply down to cheating , next thing you'll be saying the Empire have a traitor known as "Fulcrum" who is feeding information to the Rebels! Great contest though, and congratulations to all the players for their builds

£169.99 sounds a very good price for that set. The cockpit is nicely detailed. And I like that they've included two pilots as well.

[SoNE Ep. XIV] Chandrila - A Scent to Remember
Tariq j replied to Kodan Black's topic in Nar Eurbrikka Archive
Very good work, I like the way you've done the fountain. -
My dream has come true! It'll be cool to have our own "version" of the Star Wars canon but for SoNE as a wikia.

Thanks! Haha, Thanks, I was going for a cramped "underworld" feel (kinda like what we saw in a lot of Clone Wars episodes. Thank you! The sign was fun to build, and I guess all those extra studs from the stud blaster came useful after all! Glad you liked the first little build. Roofs came down to timing unfortunately.

What future LEGO Movies would you like to see happen?
Tariq j replied to Realshow's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
We know that the Lego Movie takes place in the present (hence the use of present themes like Ninjago, Star Wars, Batman etc.) But what about a Lego Movie that takes place in the eighties maybe even nineties with themes like Classic western, pirates, Space etc. It would be a nice nod to AFOL's since a lot of us would have been getting into Lego as kids at around that time and we could even see some of Benny's backstory.- 97 replies

And in the case of battlepacks like the Cantina and Castle, it would be cool if the builds included could be attached to the actual sets. In the same way that the original Jabba's Palace had two attahments on either side.

I quite enjoyed that episode, I always like it when they sneak in some Classic Star Wars music and the final scene was excellent! And a nice "teaser" you could say, for a New Hope. There were a number of cool references, to The Phantom Menace in this episode, and its ironic to see Maul use the move he used to kill Qui Gonn fail him in this episode. I can understand why people may have been disappointed by the duel and maybe from a marketing standpoint they could have changed the teaser trailers slightly. Still, a good episode and its nice to see a fitting end to Maul.

Nice work! I like the ruins and the way the building has been angled slightly.
