But Thrawn was only blocked last night, not on Night 2 where there was also no scum kill. But there’s no point trying to divide the vote here, and whoever doesn’t get lynched will die in the night, Vote: Grand Admiral Thrawn (mediumsnowman)
-
Ah ok, I thought you mean that Needa claiming to Daala suddenly made her town, but J get what you meant now. It’s possible the scum tried to convert on Nights 2 and 3, but inadvertently targeted town PR roles and so the conversions failed. In meetings I’ve been to in the past even if a players is killed during the night there action still goes through, so if Komec was the scum killer his action should have gone through even though he was killed, unless some kind of new game mechanic is in play. It could also be that there was a jail keeper involved since they block and protect the target, so it’s possible they protected one of the scum’s targets and then on Night 3 blocked the scum themselves, but to have 2 blockers for the Town seems incredibly unlikely so I doubt this is likely.

I think Dellus has to be telling the truth, unless Tarkin was the investigator and, for some reason, decided to give his results to Dellus before he died, there’s no way he could’ve known I was neutral without investigating me personally. I’m not saying Needa or you are lying but how does Needa claiming to Daala make Daala loyal?
-
Ideally it would be better to lynch the scum player first, like I said earlier an extra night could mean a conversion, the killing of a town PR etc. Even if a player is killed during the night there action still goes through. Personally I would want to lynch Needa and then vig kill Thrawn. In a previous meeting Shield VS Hydra, I believe the scum were able to either kill or convert on one night, but they weren’t allowed to do both on the same night, and IIRC they weren’t able to convert town PR roles. So it’s 50:50 really, I’m slightly inclined to think it’s what happened in S vs H due to the lack of scum kills.
-
Well, it appears I have some explaining to do. Dellus is telling the truth and so I believe he is genuinely the town investigator. I’m a survivalist, I’m not a godfather, serial Killer, or anything like that. In any case, I feel Thrawn being a Godafther seems like a very plausible idea.
-
What I thought was that Komec was the scum killer and last scum (Needa or Thrawn) was the blocker, Komec died so the killing ability has been passed down, BUT (and it’s a big but like on a Bantha) we know both blockers tried block last night, and was Piet said earlier there must be some kind of conversion/kill action so I’m thinking there could be one other scum left. A lot of difference, a successful conversion could take place, a crucial PR could be killed. Again, you seem very desperate for the lynch to quickly be over and done with. But there’s a lot more to discuss here. My biggest worry is the former, it’s Day four now, so we each have our own town/scum reads on most of the players, but if a town player does happened to be converted that all of the town reads can go out of the window.
-
I suspected Thrawn yesterday too after he avoided voting for two scum, so I'm slightly inclined to sway towards him as scum. This seems very desperate, and would a scum have a blocking and killing ability? I would imagine the kill is past down but it seems unlikely that he would have both.

Excellent work to the Vig! It’s a shame about Tarkin, but looking back at his lynch, there a couple of votes that do stand out as sheepish, Here Dellus decides to sit back and see what happens, he gives not concrete reasoning for voting for Tarkin other than saying what others had said before him. This one really confuses me, Daala claims to be worried about the speed at which the lynch has formed yet he decides to vote anyway, and then says again the lynch is a bad idea, but chooses to keep his vote, plus he also gave no evidence for voting for Tarkin.

He does look very good and that torso look excellent, it is a shame that the leg piece doesn’t have any kind of printing because the torso print just cuts off as it gets to the waist, but still a great figure.

Imperial Officers Mafia - Day Three
Tariq j replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Something that struck me, we know Tarkin built (and has been building) a case on Piett since Day One, we know Jellico was scum, and he voted for Piett, if Tarkin is scum then it seems likely they were trying to build a case against Piett here, possibly trying to get him lynched instead of Ozzel. Given that two scum have died already it seems odd that Tarkin would admit defeat without a fight though. -
The Marcus Flint figure looks great, it would be good to see at least two players from each team, that way you could buy two or three copies of the set to make other players. If I'm looking at the Bellatrix you guys are, I think it's from the video game. Hence why it looks digitalised.

Imperial Officers Mafia - Day Three

And what were these useful thoughts? Apart from jumping on the bandwagon for Tarkin you haven’t said much. -
Great Review Makoy! I like the Recruitment Officer, the head would make a good Admiral Ozzel head had it not been for the sideburns. I like the Patrol Troopers, but the OT Stormtroopers are still my favourite.

Imperial Officers Mafia - Day Three

I feel Tarkin has somewhat dug himself a hole here, he found Jellico's post suspicious... and then he didn't. I've already stated my thoughts and case against him. His floundering on Ozzel also confused me, he kept saying Ozzel would me a good lynch, but then he kept defending him as well. Almost like he was trying to prepare for either outcome. I do find it a little worrying as to how quickly the bandwagon has formed, Thrawn and Captain Felton and myself had made points against Tarkin, but there seem to be some Sheepish votes as well with no concrete reasoning. Imperial Officers Mafia - Day Three

Even if the suspicion wasn’t there you still continued to defend Jellico and Ozzel though. “Of the three, who would I vote for if it would insure a lynch for today? Probably Ozzel. Not because I think he's scum, but because if we want a lynch, and these are the only three choices everyone keeps leaning towards, Ozzel is the best choice.” You think it’s best to vote for Ozzel, but you assert the fact you think he’s not scum, possibly trying to convince others to think the same. “Ozzel is a helpful member too, but if we must lynch one of these three, he'll give us the most info without causing a serious blow to the town. But that doesn't mean that I still don't stand by my vote for Piett. Here's a question. What makes Jellico a more appealing lynch than Piett?” Again, you praise Ozzel, saying he has a helpful member, and then you say Piett might be a better lynch choice, you then defend Jellico again by implying Piett is a better choice. “I'll vote for Ozzel if it means a lynch. But right now I'm hoping we can lynch Piett since I find him to be a more preferred lynch candidate.” Yet again, you assert the fact you feel Ozzel is town and Piett is better. You defended both Ozzel and Jellico a lot yesterday, as though you were hoping to get Piett lynched instead. But you kept hovering on Ozzel, so that way if he got lynched (which he eventually did) it would look as though you were leaps against him. -
I really like this idea. And we could expand the awards to Reviews and other sub categories as well, “Best Review of the Year” “Best Collaborative build” “Best SoNE build” “Best BotBS build” etc.

LEGO Star Wars 2018 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!
Tariq j replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I remember Sir Von Lego said something about the Arrestor Cruiser being a set. But I want to try and find the post on that because I don’t remember exactly what he said. EDIT: My Mistake, he meant the Imperial Hauler, pictures of both ships just happen to be on the same website. -
Imperial Officers Mafia - Day Three
Tariq j replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Fair enough, Ozzel I can kind of understand since, without trying to meta game to much, his style has been like this in other meetings so this behaviour didn’t seem to out of the ordinary. I felt Jellico was a bit more reserved than her previous netting’s which is part of the reason I suspected her though. But I get you were ina rush with that vote change. Looking at yesterday’s vote, I’d say there’s at least one other scum in the Ozzel lynch, possibly even two. Both Jellico and Ozzek were amongst the 4 lynch candidates so when I have the time a bit later I want to go over the Holorecordings to see exactly who said what. Day One is harder since the votes are so spread out, a couple of things to note though, Captain Jellico kept her vote on Daala, which I guess makes Darla look Town, but then maybe that’s what they want us to think , this is where WIFOM gets complicated! -
Imperial Officers Mafia - Day Three
Tariq j replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Having looked back at yesterday’s voting patterns there is something about Grand Admiral Thrawn I find interesting: “Assuming Jellico’s vote count is correct and we have less than 24 hours left, in the interest of securing a lynch and not repeating Day 1, I’ll Unvote: Admiral Motti (MT) Vote: Admira Daala (Rider Raider) in the hope that we’ll have something to go off of tomorrow, and I find the case against Daala more compelling than the case against Ozzel. Is this bandwagoning? Maybe. I don’t feel strongly about Daala, but spinning our wheels for the second day in a row would give the traitors a huge advantage and put us in a very bad position goin forward” Firstly he unvotes for Motti, and votes for Daala, who already has votes on her, note he also disagrees about lynching Ozzel as he finds Daala’s vote more compelling. “I’m pressed for time at the moment and likely won’t be able to come online again before the end of the day. I think Daala would be the best and I don’t like the Ozzel train. If it would help I’d rather go for Piett than Jellico unvote Rider Raider vote: Sandy (Piett) please accept my hurried vote I’m trying to walk out the door” He then unvotes for Daala and then votes for Piett, feeling he is a better case, he also states he finds Piett a better case than Jellico, now I’m not saying that everytime someone inadvertently defends a traitor they’re scum, but I do find it interesting that Thrawn avoided for two scum players, and ended up voting for others he found better cases. -
Imperial Officers Mafia - Day Three

Wow! That was the most incredible stroke of luck we’ve had. Good job on the Vig for killing Jellico, I knew there was something not right about her. A cig choosing not to kill would be the most likely option, or the Vig can only kill on even numbered nights. If you are the blocker, I would definitely advise blocking the same person, because if there’s no scum kill again, chances are that person is probably scum. -

Imperial Officers Mafia Confirmation
Tariq j replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I also agree with all the above, that was an interesting day. Hopefully we'll attract both Veterans and new players to the forum. -
I’m a little mixed, yes it’s a very late and convenient claim to make, but games can be won or lost due to decisions like this. If his claim his true then what we do now may affect the rest of the game. I’ve seen and been in situations where a critical last minute claim turned out to be true, I’m not saying that’s is the case here, but I feel this needs to be considered.

Oh ok, I have quoted posts before only italics, since I wasn’t able to do the quote between topics thing. Like I said, I’m willing to vote for Ozzel, I have seen this behaviour in the past and when I was sure he was scum, he wasn’t, which totally wasted the days vote. But I feel like at this stage, we need a lynch in order to have some kind of meaningful discussion on Day Three. Inactive players are generally better to lynch early on in the game since if they aren’t active now, there’s not guarantee they’ll be active in future days. Unvote: Captain Jellico (Lady K) Vote: Admiral Ozzel (Actor Builder
