That new Mcgonagall figure looks great. I think this is the first time we've seen her with a hair piece.

LEGO Star Wars 2021 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!

The Probe Droid and Scout Trooper look excellent. I love the that they've incouded a bit of the Hoth enviroment as the base for the set. The Vader helemt does look off. I feel like it's the proportions of the faceplate and back of the helmet that seem off(?). I don't know. That said, with these sets (plus the all the Mando and CW sets) we've got a great lineup of sets this year. Assuming the line will continue, I honestly can't wait till to get to the CW/PT stuff. -
Whilst I'm not too interested in the buildable figures the Chess Set actually sounds quite interesting. Though frsutratingly it is also the most expensive if the lot .

Yeah, it was like when some people complained about the minifigure lineup of the UCS Falcon when it was first revealed. The focus of the set is the Gunship, not the figures. -
I like the stars they’ve added on Quirrell’s torso. The positioning of Voldermort’s face is an improvement.
-
I’d love to try and attempt of the Ministry of Magic. I’d think you’d have to design it like the 60s Batcave. Maybe with some London building facade even though it is technically underground.
-
I'm interested to see how they're going to tackle that as the Quidditch lessons obviously take place outside whereas the Hogwarts Moments are more based off classrooms and stuff. I guess the hoops could be part of the "fold out" element? Really hope this means we get a Lupin DADA one.
-
Cho in a Quidditch pack would mean Ravenclaw robes which I don’t think we’ve had yet(?). I really like that Quirrel figure. It looks as though they’ve gone for the Star Wars approach by having the 20th print on the back of the torso.

Marvel Superheroes 2021 - Rumors & Discussion

Sounds like an awesome line up of sets. - Finally a bald Thanos big fig! - The Carnage and Venom helmet things look really cool. I have yet to buy the Star Wars ones but I might get these. -
I they’re at the very end of Hogwarts near the Greenhouses. I don’t think any major actions/scenes happen in them during the films but you can see them in the wide/overhead shots of the castle.

Both! But the thought of getting more MCU stuff is exciting. -
Mystery on the Excelsior - Conclusion
Tariq j replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Thanks for hosting Bob! It was my first mystery game as well and I had a lot of fun. There was some great role playing at the start. -
Worst case scenario I'd say a buildable item like Fawkes or object from the Potter films. (Like a buildable Golden egg or Horcrux). But I wouldn't say no to a chess set though. Best case scenario would probably be a small Gringotts set like the original one in 2001 or something. I'm not totally against remakes since they can be good parts packs.

Either of those would be good. Especially since it's been 8 years or so since we saw the last Phase II Rex. I could see it maybe being a villain like Wat Tambor or one of those air support droids. -

The set looks really good. Nice to see something that isn't another buggy, helicopter or mech for a change. Ideally, I'd love it of the D2C set was a playset like a Sanctum or Avengers Compound but I could definitly see it being a Gauntlet or something. -
Wishlist: Future Star Wars Sets and Minifigures
Tariq j replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
UCS AT-OT and Dropship: I feel like it’s been 13(?) years since the last one (God I feel old). Probabaly one of the few Republic vehicles we’ve yet to have a remake of. -
I haven't been a huge fan of the mosaics but a Maurader's Map would actually be pretty cool.
-
I agree. Especially when you look at something like Dumbledore’s office or the DADA classroom in the Clocktower set. They could really be expanded upon more in a moments set.

"Are there any escape pods on board the Excelsior?" -
I could definitly see the set being a remake. I guess it could include some new characters (or new variants of existing characters) to make up for it. I mean, if it worked I wouldn't say no

I heard nothing. Other than the sound of Colin of course. -
A leak already? That're really good. I actually quite like they're taking the Star Wars approach of going for more obscure characters rather than repeats of existing ones.

An interesitng list for sure. I'm excited to see how the gold minifigures turn out. Really excited to see Hogsmede finally getting made. The board game element of the Advent Calemdar sounds exciting. I wonder if Dudley In Pjs might have a printed pig tail/mould. Looks like the Great Hall might become the Snowspeeder/X-Wing of the Harry Potter line
