The Recruitment sets look like a promising line, the minifigures for some such as the MF and ISD are good, hopefully we will see a redesign of some figures. It's a real shame there was no boga in the wheel bike set, the only thing that can save the set is greivous if TLG have made a good redesign of him I may consider buying the set depending on prices.

It's unlikely we will see an MHC so soon in another set but it's a good idea.

well in my opinion I suppose it depends how you look at it under light etc.

I agree with legofreak86, we need a new palpatine, where TLG got the idea that palpatine had a grey head I don't know. I think another minifigure that we need is a tactical droid we saw one with maces, starfighter we need some more. Now I no it's odd me saying this but jango's head needs a replacement we either need a clone head or another head.

I just like to get everything as accurate as possible, stiickers are an issue for me and to apply, but as long as there're not drooping over the edge I'm fine. I don't line my Lego logos up because I personally don't want to and some times it can affect the overall model but still we all build are sets differently, some of us like perfection while others just like sets to be built as accurate as possible, some of us apply stickers to are sets exactly some of us don't.

I think we desperatly need mos espa, a sandcrawler and cloud city, because TLG are shortening the CW sets this year it gives them a chance to redesign sets such as the sail barge, RGS, AT-TE etc. And next year we've got a heavy ROTS wave with redesigned sets it's likely we will see those sets.

Are microfighters basically a modified version of a mini set so they have a space for figures?

I suppose so, but the reason why I had lots of them is because Lego have three main flaws in the calenders: Firstly they don't stick to the two themes of their calender and occasionally do a random build from another theme, secondly they do builds such as Greivous' starfighter which we barley see in the movie. And thirdly we get builds like a weapon rack which are an excuse for a model/minifigure.

Brilliant review, I agree with you on the minifigures, a bounty hunter army would be brilliant, I quite liked this set it's got some interesting features and figures, the astomech droid is alright nothing special about it personally for £60.00 I wouldent recomend it.

You just get Lego for christmas.

In the future star wars sets thread there is a heavy discussian about it- whether it should be a big playset like the ewok village or whether it should be split up like the jabba sets. Some of my minifigures: Admiral Yulren - The Venator was a perfect oppotunity to include him but TLG didn't so hopefully the will find a way to put him in a set. Grand Moff Tarkin ( redesign ) - The figure itself is fine, it's just the hairpiece that dosen't work. Death Star gunners - I was dissatisfied and dissapointed with the DS gunners for the 2014 BP it's unlikely we will see a redesign so soon so I'm sure we will have to wait... Ghosts - I know this has been discussed before in this thread and others but I do think we need them, the ewok village would have been a good oppotunity, the main flaw is that you can see all the joints of the minifigure.

Good review RitzBrick, I agree with you in the way that this set is much better than the 2009 version, A few more Droids or another clone would have been nice, but still a great set with a decent line of minifigures.

Yes, the DS BP has no Spring launcher sign next to it which is odd because for a canon you would expect a new spring launcher.

Interesting story Steven L, it's amazing to think that a camera helped you find EB.

Just noticed it now but there seems to be some new spring shooter, how does that work?

Just purchased the HH- starhopper and the Hoth speeder with Hoth planet set.

Personally, I think Stormtroopers could have been included in this set instead of the royal guards, the guards are nice but stormtroopers are better.
