That Hogwarts set looks fantastic. It looks as though you can dismantle it an create the main viaduct that leads to the Great Hall. The connected Hogwarts is insane. The 2018-2020 sets were good but I love how modular this one feels rather than just stickg them together in a line.

Looks as though there's a fireplace and a desk there? In the film Molly and Bellatrix fought on top of the tables so maybe there's some sort of play feature there.

Isn't that a custom figure? -
The BoH set looks good. It looks like they've taken the front of the Great Hall and little bit of the courtyard there. I like the train set. It seems like a minor thing but I really like that they've included two carriages. I've always felt that some previous versions felt a little incomplete with only one carriage.

I really like that Death Star GWP. But I do think it was missed opportunity not to include someone like Moff Jerjerrod. -
My thoughts as well. When the images dropped it almost looked like the odd one out. But it looks so much better in person. Agree about the minifigures too, I think Toht with a medallion accessory would have been good here. I think they could've even gone a step further and given us the map room as well - I know they're in two different locations but it would've been cool to see. It's really bizarre. The Hasbro figures and the Funko Pops all seem to be based off the original films. It would be like if, instead of doing merchandise for Toy Story 4, Pixar focused entirely on the first 3 films.
-
Same here! Yeah there was a lot of hype for the theme back then. It also raises the question as to why LEGO didn't continue the original line in the first place. Maybe the 2009 wave didn't sell as well as the 2008 one?
-
What's interesting about that video is that they've used the same logo, model of Hogwarts and theme music. So are they just going to use the same sets/costumes/props as well? I would've preferred they'd expanded the universe to be honest.
-
According to this it says the initial line sold very well (at least in the North American Market anyway). So I don't know. Yeah, I think it could've been done perfectly in the style of the Golden Idol set.
-
Yeah maybe. Aside from a few Hasbro figures and those three 'Worlds of Adventure' toys, all the new merchandise is based of the first 3 films.

It does look very chunky from the top in that photo. -

Yeah that box art looks fan made. But the set itself looks good. Big upgrade from 2013. -

That's insane that list is real. I'm most excited for the Ghost. A long overdue set. The Rebels line also dropped off after Season 3, (I think the last Rebels set we got was the Phantom 2.0) so it's nice to see it make a comeback. -

I really like both of those. They're neat, simple and to the point. I hope we get more duel focused dioramas as long as the theme continues. -
Yeah, the LotR treatment would be the best way to go about it. I think RTD really wants Doctor Who to become a sci-fi juggernaut again so I could see something happening.

That Bo Katan figure is fantastic. LEGO have really gone all out there. -
And absoluty nothing on their Facebook, Twitter or Instagram pages LEGO has declared war on the Jones boys.

I do wish they'd come up with a smoother way of detaching the wings. I think the old set had a mechanism where you had to push down on part of the cockpit which released both wings. In this set you have to take them off manually which feels a bit clunckier in comparison. It's a good set though.
-
Don't you mean Minecart chase? I don't know about The Lost Tomb. It feels like everytime we get a new picture it looks worse. Just a wall on a baseplate. The figures are excellent though.
-
It's a great set. I was a little skeptical at first as dioramas are often quite static whereas the Temple Escaoe is a very dynamic scene but they've pulled it off really well. If Lego ever do a grail temple I think a diorama set like this would be the way to go.
-
I could maybe see them doing a one off D2C set for the Anniversary of one of the movies. (Like the 40th anniversary of Crusade). But beyond that this feels like the chance for sets. The Plane Chase is really growing me. The car looks good and I like the little details like the Grail diary and the umbrella. I actually think The Lost Tomb looks a little worse from that angle as it does seem to be a wall on a baseplate. I suppose the Anubis statues look good though. The Temple Escape is perfect. Great minifigures and and play features. They could've included Jock's plane but then I suppose being a diorama they wanted everything focused on the one build rather than having side builds.
-
It looks good. I like the way they've disguised the buttons/dials on the sides that I'm guessing control some of the functions of the set. How exactly does the boulder work? In the previous set it ran down some kind of track but here it looks like it would just drop if released.
-
It looks really good. Combined with the description we got a few weeks ago it sounds like it's going to be a great set.

I actually thought that Executor was the May 4th promo for a second. It looks good but not for $70. Especially since it seems to be using a lot of common parts. Would have been a golden opportunity to finally get Admiral Ozzel too.
