You have managed to create some great details on the tower without making it look too much. The whole build and countryside landscape really captures the look and feel of our land. Well done Kabel, this is a great tower. I am looking forward to seeing the Mitgardia mocs as I do like the whole 'castle in the snow' look. This is a great start and looks strong and imposing. I would have gone with a black roof personally, but the red does work and makes it stand out. Nice work on the snow too. DC Mighty Avalonia!

Well done sir! The tower really benefits from being perched on a hill. I like the use of sand green and even though its a small tower, it still looks strong and able to defend. A small moat round it would look good and some foliage. Other than that, great job, you do your kingdom proud DC Long Live Mighty Avalonia!

Be warned men of the East, you may think sending over spies and burning trees intimidates us, but far from it. It's like flys trying to wake a sleeping dragon, and if the dragon gets woken, it's gonna be mighty cranky! Make sure your men are posted at their warning beacons, they may soon have a job to do!

Welcome Captain Blackmoor, very glad to have your tradesmen in Avalonia, they are most needed. Feel free to set up your shops where you wish. Andonii, your small scene has earned you your first title. Your tower has a good start and looks nice, the Avalonia banner looks quite good as well. Since there is plenty of time I suggest you work on it some more and try out ways you can make it even better. Maybe add some more to the landscape, build up around the pond a bit more so it looks more natural. There are many great builders in our guild who can all give you great advice. If your really are happpy with it and you want to enter it an the challenge, then you must post the moc in the main forum like our other member has done. This goes for everyone here, you can show some wip pics of your towers in this thread, but the finished model has to be posted in the main forum clearly stating in the title that it is an Avalonia Guild moc. One more thing, there has been reports of Drow spy's in our land, they are ambitious little critters and we need to teach them a lesson. They need to be humiliated and sent back to Nocturnia!

Great tower, nice use of foliage here. We Avalonian's have many towers throughout the land and the forest is no exception. I like the fact that this moc represents the sort of tower forestmen would really have, why build a big obvious thing of stone when you can convert a tree and blend in. I see the Nocturnians have secretly attacked, but never fear, the trees will grow again! Great work

Firstly I'd like to say welcome to all our latest members, great figs everyone, im really liking what im seeing. Avalonia is shaping up to be a real dominate force! Well done to Volcanicpanic, another mean looking executioner for our land. I've noticed some of you have been talking about making a coat of arms. This is a great idea, and I really like the designs i've seen. As long as they are based on our realms colors its fine. Although like Matn said, you can also use hints of our colors in your mocs in different ways. I have been adding dark green and sand green shutters on the windows in my village, also making dark green doors out of tiles. There's lots of different ways you can incorperate our colors into your mocs. If you would like to add your own custom coat of arms into your mocs then go right ahead, I see no problem with it. I've been thinking about the idea of a map for a while now, and if there our any members here who can produce a good map then give it ago, then we can pick one we all like and use it as our land map. As you all know, the first challenge is under way and it would be great to get off to a good start. So all I ask is for you all to do the best you can and have fun. There will be lots of special titles and tags throughout this project for those who innovate and work hard for the guild. As the guild becomes busy with all the goings on and different mocs and ideas being posted, it can be hard to keep track of everything. So I will soon be appointing some 'Elite Warlord Generals', who be in charge of monitoring the different areas in the guild, keeping track of things and making decisions. They will also have a few extra 'powers' as well. To those who are currently doing some of the tasks I have set, can you let me know who is currently doing what task. So far 4 members have completed a task and earned a title, which I have updated on the list at the first page. Thanks all

Good work on the Executioner, he looks like the man for the job! So Volcanicpanic is next to do the Executioner task and Pizinho will be doing the Elf task. Guildsmen of Avalonia! The first main challenge is now up and running. The challenge has been posted on the pinned threads at the top of the main forum. You task is to build a watchtower. You have a month to build this in, so please take your time and do the best you can for your land. The top 5 entries will be the ones that represent our land and hopefully win us points. So go forth and show the other guilds how its done.

Nice, I like that set as you get a few extra dragon shields, plus the barding and knight look awesome. I hope to pick up a few more of that set.

Work has been going slow of late on one of our villages, so Artorious has set of to inspect the construction. It was also a good chance to flex some of our new spearmen's legs and bring some along for the march. More men are now being put on construction duties and work should be finished soon. Then plans can start on some serious construction! The visored knights are the same ones I used before, just added a plain breast plate and crownie silver visor helms. I think the standard Green Dragon Knight fig's torso is perfect, its dark green and sand green after all, so It works great, plus they are easily available to get hold of.

Yes, go right ahead This now leaves 'High King Of The Elves' So if someone would like to volunteer for that, then that gets the ball rolling with all the tasks. Remember, once you have completed a task, choose the next member for that task and then wait to be chosen for a different task.

Welcome new members glad to have you here. Figs are looking great! Im glad to see you have completed your task, and you now have that tittle, BUT, you may not pick another task, you will now have to wait until someone picks you for another task. Your job is to now pick and name a member who will be next to do the task you have just done. There are still two tasks open for members to kick start. Remember, there is really no need to rush these tasks, you have plenty of time to get them all complete and I'd like you to try and do the best you can, as you will become a better builder if you push yourselves.

Thats the problem though, we have to try and please everbody, and laying claim to factions is difficult, as some people might want to be in a certain group, but don't have the figures to take part in that group.
