  1. Me likey! These look like they're just waiting for Indiana Jones to do a retro car chase in them! The black convertible is definitely my favourite, I can see why people wanted this one to be 'back in black'
  2. Tons of 'funny' in a small MOC - way to go BrickAvenger! I definitely like your style
  3. I just felt I had to apologize for my stupid comment earlier on, I wrote that without actually having taken the time to check out the bus in detail (both your model, and the original ). It's obvious to me now that your solution is actually as perfect as it can get, while still keeping very close to the original in terms of scale /regarding the added length when the bike railing is extended/. Looking forward to your new models, and sorry about my rushed remark.
  4. I saw this somewhere a couple of weeks ago and I bookmarked the sliding door design immediately. Hope you don't mind if I nick it at some point in the future (like I did Ralph's awesome design as well... guess I make a good thief ). The Jumper looks awesome and the simplicity of your solution, as pointed out by Ralph, actually goes a long way towards making it even cooler.
  5. I agree, this looks very welcoming - and the whole scene is beautifully crafted, very well done!
  6. Enough! This is a holy place, for heavens' sake, and I shall have none of your childish bickering! Show some respect to your elders and swallow your inflated egos, at least until Father lets us know what is happening.
  7. I remember watching a vid a couple of years back of LEGO Designers visiting an actual police station in Denmark... That's also where they came up with the idea to develop the German shepherd-style dog mould for the first time. So yeah, I'd go out on a limb and say that they probably do that
  8. It is all droolworthy! The building itself is wonderful, but what I find staggering is your intricate interior detailing (aided, obviously, by your perfect knowledge of what's supposed to be found in such a place). Very smart and effective technique for the dome of the clock tower, as is the entire octagonal structure. As to the interior - my favourite part has to be judge's chambers - I'm really loving her desk lamp and library...
  9. Spent a week in Budapest last November... should have remembered to check and see whether there's any Eurobrickers around there :/
  10. Ah, good day children, I see you're already up. Who is this def you speak of? Looks like Bluwho? I have no idea what you're talking about, my little girl... I'm really getting too old for all these new words young folk come up with these days. Now then, where's breakfast? I'll have me some sausages...
  11. Great job! You've utilized the 7-wide scale just about perfectly, I really adore the interior!
  12. Gimme ALL your acorns!

  13. +1. This is really a gorgeous model. Impressive details too - and I really love the front end, it looks totally spot on to me! It's a bit of a pity that's nothing to 'actually' repair in LEGO Trains world, but it still adds so much realism to the layout.
  14. The Matisa really looks delightful - besides, I really like shunters And I'd really love to see more shots of the 77...
  15. Well let's now wait and see whether you'd make a good Oracle.
  16. Once again, happy birthday Ras mate! Hope you're having fun and planning on returning to EB sooner than later... yeah yeah, I know, look who's talking *img* sweet-looking cake, Swedish style... but it might look a bit NSFW, so I'll leave it up to your imagination */img* Happy birthday to Rayman too! Here's to many happy rerunsturns! Uuuund einen recht herzlichen Glückwunsch zum 50-sten, Toastie! Lass es richtig krachen! Und äm... Dein Geburtstagskuchen soll ja getoastet sein, ne?
  17. +1. I also don't expect it to be a part of the Town Modular line; more likely it's going to be something like the Medieval Market Village - an absolutely brilliant one-off D2C set that hasn't got too much to do with the rest of the theme it's a part of (in this case, Monster Fighters, presumably) - but is still utterly awesome. Besides, who cares what theme it belongs to; I'm definitely buying it regardless!
  18. Whoa!! This is gorgeous! I have some friends who run an agency that provides individual decorations for people's weddings. If they see this, I have a feeling that LEGO sales locally might pick up...
  19. Not really sure if that's the case, considering the plethora of SNOT elements (and ideas) that the Fire Brigade presents both up-and-coming and more experienced MOCcers with. Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on the Pet Shop, and of course I'll most definitely buy it as well (eventually). However, judging by the instruction manuals, it is not too complex of a build, save for some particular elements. I guess it all comes down to what kind of parts you need, but if you're only buying modulars as parts packs for any kind of future MOCs, as TheKingOfBuilding mentioned in the first place when asking his question, then I still firmly believe that the Fire Brigade is the one that provides better value for money (almost 20% cheaper, yet 10% more parts contained). And by the way - there's no "ID" as such in my nickname
  20. Another stunning looking Friends car... I'm afraid I'm starting to enjoy Friends-scale cars & vehicles more than regular Town vehicles - which I'm not sure is a good thing! What's next, a Friends train? (*nudge nudge*)
  21. Another great vehicle, I definitely like this one - both its interior and exterior look very impressive! But I must admit I'm not sure about the "bike rack" device at the front; have you considered trying using the fence piece vertically instead, to avoid the added length? Then again' I'm guessing the bike's handles will still be a bit of an obstacle, but probably there's some way of solving that issue as well. In any case, some awesome building there - looking forward to seeing more from you!
  22. Fire Brigade, definitely. Both in terms of price / pieces ratio, and as sheer building fun, even if you'll take it apart after that. Contains a lot of dark red tiles (obviously) in case you need those. Then again, if you prefer the Pet Shop colours for your future MOCs, you should probably consider that instead?
  23. Guess I'll be listing my instructions on Bricklink as well then... Heck, my copy of the Cafe Corner or Market Street won't ever have to come apart (again), so I don't actually need those papers anyway.
  24. And that makes what difference precisely? LegoMyMamma - this MOC put a smile on my face I guess Friends opens a whole new dimension to MOCcing, keep it up!
