Great entry, i love the scale and you have some great soldiers there. Very nice Prussians and Cossacks

Great cargo ship here. Has that classic feel to it with a modern finnish.
-
Nice review of an awesome set. I remember wanting this so bad when it came out. I also like that you showed the alternate builds from the instruction sheets. Its a pity TLC dont use those alternate versions anymore.
-
I like the way you have rebuilt some of these old sets.
-
for more photos look here Visit My Bricklink p.s. i ran a bit short on muskets at the end, too many soldiers i made.
-
Very nice town there. Its a pity TLC dont release a new monorail set. You must have to tippy toe to get into the corner of this room with all the lego there

This is a nice moc. Lots of good details in a small space

Thanks all im doing now is arranging the minifigs in thier positions. I think i will present the final entry in a new thread.

The black sails do look quite good on the BB. That custom blunderbuss is very good too

Heres some latest pics. Just about finnished just adding last touches to the scenery. This shows Saint-hillaires division moving through Pratzen village and about to move onto the heights where waiting Austrian and Russian soldiers are suprised by this sudden appearance of French infantry advancing on their position. Here at the centre they were now thinly spread on Pratzen heights as the bulk of the army had moved south against the villages of Telnitz and Solkonitz or were engaged in a holding action to the north against Marshall Lannes corps.

Hey Woody i looked at those Austrian infantry helmets. Thats the one im after but it had a "not for sale" notice on it. I think i will get some Bavarian headwear though as im going to start maing some of thier infantry too now.

Great work on this moc. The building layout is very exact to what they are. Cant wait to see the finished work
-
This is a great little truck. A septic tanker is not something i had thought of making before, good job
-
More nice designs there woody. I cant remember if you had made an austrian infantry helmet from the Napoleonic wars?

These minifigs are great. Cant wait to get my hands on the Spartan and the Surfer. I also love the Mexican -
Heres a look at the french army ready for the battle scene. In front are men of Saint Hillaire's division who spearheaded the assault on the Pratzen Heights. Behind are a few of the buildings ive been making to create the village of Pratzen which was central in the battlefield.

Very nice work there. I like your Cossack and Prussians. Look forward to seeing the final entry.

Thanx for comments. The background landscape is only a prelimenary. The real one is under construction now. Ive been using pipecleaners for the feathers. Just cutting them to length and gluing to the headwear. The printer i have is a HP but what ive found is that using a glossy paper like photo paper to print on improves the colour and look. I also use a gloss spray to finnish the decal so the print will not smudge with use.

Ok guys heres a look at the Russian and Austrian army marching to the Pratzen Heights These are some of the Russians Here are Austrian Grenadiers and Hungarian infantry with the blue trousers

Hello everybody. Its been a while since ive made any Napoleonic mocs but this new contest has got me revisiting my custom army. My entry will be a scene from the battle of Austerlitz. I will show you some of the different troops in little scenes like this as a lead up to the final moc, like here for instance theses are my latest Old guard. I have given them new torso decals on front and back that have a bit more accuracy than the old ones. Here are the Old Guard receiving orders while stationed along the channel coast, where they had been waiting for the invasion of England. Instead now they must march east to contend with the Russian and Austrian Empires declaration of war against them. Next up will be the Austrian and Russian infantry

You captured those coaches really well. I thought they looked a little small too but they are in the correct size compared to the engine. Excellent work
-
No batteries or light yet. Will add them soon. These engines are from a private rail company servicing the Rur region of Germany. They make trips into the Netherlands too.
-
Nice moc. Very good australia post and mitre 10 bulidings
-
I havn't seen a moc of one of these engines yet. This is definately one of my favourite european locomotives. Its not powered yet but that is my next project to add power functions. Please let us know your thoughts.

Yes this is longer than the green and white model. These vossloh engines are used in many roles from shunting to long distance hauling.
