Heres a few pics of my UCS B-wing inspired by Gareth and Oceanblue of FBTB
-
Everybody wants B-wings pics
-
yeah the pics are not the best but alas the clawcraft has been destroyed to supply parts for other projects, yep thats a ucs B-wing which is still built so pics will turn up soon.
-
while uploading some photos i found a few of an old ucs i made last year enjoy.
-
Thanks for pointing that out i will read through before posting next time.

I used your way of attaching the wings to the pylons, i can hold the whole model by one wing the connection is that strong.
-
Hey guys never mind that 12 ft Tantive IV have you seen this 2m RBR http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/CSTEVENS.../a99tantive.jpg

Thanks for all the praise!! i have to say thanks to Rob AKA Walter Kovaks for the inspiration to build this Tie, you would not believe the problems i had with how the wings join to the body, originaly i used Walters method but that proved to weak and could not support the wings plus it was a very loose connection. i was nearly going to scrap the Defender until a solution came to me while at work (yes i think about how to build a Moc while at work) and it prooved it could be built and be very stable so stable infact that i can hold the Defender by one pylon and swoosh it around! once i had solved the wing issues the rest was just a matter of studying the few pictures there is of the Defender and turning it into the model itself, i have addd extra greeblies but not over done them. there is an interior to the cockpit will get some pictures asap. Hopefully i will post pictures of my other UCS Mocs in a few days (B-Wing, Tie Hunter, Remake of the lego Tie interceptor and Shuttle Tydirium bsed on Dmacs version.)

Hi all at last i have taken some pictures of my UCS Tie Defender sorry the quality is not very good but will have to do till i get some better ones taken. Enjoy!
-
If you find a picture of a post van from portugal offensive then maybe the internet is not the place for you?
-
Well ive recently bought a large amount of white pieces for a ucs Shuttle Tydirium and a lot of the white is yellowing or completely brown, what i do is soak them in neat bleach for a few days and if they are still yellow leave them in direct sunlight until white again.

A very good bike indeed much better than Lego's anyway a swift wave of my magic wand and........ hey presto its now huge, although thats the only picture i can find.
-
i didn't think it had swept backwings at least all the pictures i could find didn't show to have so i based it on the tie advanced shape http://jediknight3.filefront.com/screenshots/File/38770/1

why do people keep moaning about getting another anakin, ashoka, r2d2, when classic space was about you just got white yellow and red minifigs.
-
well i'm hoping for a UCS set!!
-
off topic i presume Fall is fall as thats when the leaves fall?? back on topic
-
i did build it, thats why i said that the two main legs cannot support the weight even with major modifications. which i find strange because when i asked retro he said his AT-TE stood on its legs no problem????
-
building it is the easy part it's the collecting of parts that is difficult! http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=109826 which parts for the canon are you struggling to get in the right colours?

Hi, My name is Peter and i live in the UK near Blackpool, i have collected lego since the 70's mainly space lego and then Technic but since 2005 i started collecting Starwars UCS sets. i also like making MOC's of my own and copying other peoples and then giving it my own personal touch (Bricklinks best customer!) anyway enough about me nice to be here now after just reading the forum for the past 3 years!

UCS Venator, built using Primus's instructions and modded to my own taste but it will be getting taken apart soon not that it's in one piece at the moment lol
