  1. The LEGO Stores get them early, and because of the terrible shipping company LEGO now uses if they are supposed to be there in June that really means the end of July.
  2. They are much better, look at the new aliens verse the aliens on the past. Then there are the town minifigures with the new hair pieces look great. The $50 Agents 2.0 set has a few minifigures that are just amazing, there is the old Space shirt that is simple, yet effective.
  3. I never understood why LEGO stopped selling the blue ones. blue green and the large grey. Even if the sets didn't have any, you then still could buy some. The only place I know to buy new blue plates was Amazon when you bought a bundle.
  4. I agree, it also looks nothing like it's supposed to.
  5. I bought one IJ Temple for $30, they had 2, the price on it was still $64. They had some IJ Jungle Cutters for $15, and I bought one. The ship is interesting, when it dropped to $64 or whatever it was 3-4 Walmarts near me did different things, one was never on sale. I haven't seen one in months.
  6. It's not everywhere. Two stores near me had it on sale for $64 and then raised it to $70 and took it out of the clearance section.
  7. I like them. They have a new, yet a classic feel to them. LEGO didn't start losing money for 2 more years, and that's because of Star Wars, and the fact that Town became Town Jr., and City/Town is one of the biggest sellers. it is probably the biggest non license theme LEGO has.
  8. I actually liek the old brown more. There are several different shades of brown for LEGO people and in the real world, so a nice mix makes it seem more real. Of course "more real" in a universe of yellow guys, and .009% woman is subjective.
  9. Very beautiful. However what is a WIP? My sister when to college at WPI. :)
  10. That's not the only problem, because of the stupid way the arms are supposed to be used to shoot the ball the NBA arms/hands don't even connect correctly into a normal torso. So in short the NBA guys are a huge mess, only get the heads. :)
  11. It was many years ago, probably 3-4. It was at TRU and they had the three minifigures for $1 and it was BOGO I think because no one wanted any. I would try a used store, like in the USA a Good Will, they might still have some because no one wanted them. :) Buy a "ton" I have 12-5 of them. lol I made a great Teal'c from Stargate with one. :D
  12. I have a ton of the NBA guys because they were so cheap. They are great for a lot of different faces, however they have stupid arms and the hands don't come out.
  13. If the LEGO board games sell well maybe LEGO will decide to use the player pieces as a baby?
  14. Very nice. I never understand why the B Wing is called that. Shouldn't the B Wing really be the T Wing, it looks more like a T. :)
  15. The Battle Packs are a good price because they are no longer beign made. Plus if you already look at the eBay prices it's well worth buying them if you sell minifigures.
  16. Very nice, that's what Boston looks like after the Red Sox win a World Series. ;)
  17. I'd sell it and then with the money buy a used one.
  18. If it comes with an engine then awesome, if not then it's a little overpriced. Plus it's kind of short, only one train car? However it sounds like more will be shown at that train event. So hopefully another car will be sold separately.
  19. I'm pretty sure I have seen a Space Police minifigure wearing it. However I don't remember what site had the pciture.
  20. The luggage rack is simple and awesome! I love it! It could be an official set.
  21. $23 you can do that!
  22. For $250 there should be special minifigures, and the thing holds 16, for $250 it should come with 16 minifigures.
  23. City, Castle, and Bulk tubs are the only Classic themes. Neither one took a breaks, they were pretty much continuously made for decades. They have changed but not as dramatically. These Space Police sets are nothing like the older ones besides the name. A name doesn't make a theme classic. This is the new age of Space, it's been 13 years since the last re Space theme, and new kids are playing with LEGO. LEGO needs to bring in the new people, and to do that with new themes the prices are lower.
  24. Actually no, look at the Farm sets. I think LEGO is ripping off the fans of the more classic lines like City and Castle. The new themes, SP and PM, seem to be much cheaper.
  25. Really? Kill? Ouch. FBTB should have the prices this evening.
