  4. This is pointless. Feel free to start a thread once you have something you want to show. Besides, we have a dedicated forum for brick films and comics
  5. Guys, let's get this thread back on topic please. Thanks.

  7. Until TLG makes a press release for this year's Winter Village set, this can go in the general discussion thread for the Winter Village sets. Merged.
  8. As of April 30, LEGO Cuusoo will be replaced with LEGO Ideas. For more information about the changes and discussion please visit the Embassy forum. CUUSOO Ideas
  9. Merged with the existing thread in the Events forum.
  10. RoxYourBlox may not be the most prolific poster on Eurobricks, but whenever he starts a new topic, you know it's to showcase an amazing new MOC. Today he posts not one, but two new creations. Head over to Town forum and check out the Pentagon and The Lawyer Laundromat, where "we clean away any trace of your money".
  11. Starting topics with the sole purpose of advertising Cuusoo projects is not allowed on Eurobricks. Please refer to the Site Guidelines for more information. Next time, please use to the Report button to alert the staff. Thanks.
  12. For some reason the links to the images change when you change the permissions on your images from private to public.
  13. I've merged your thread with an older thread about keychain removal.
  14. Personally, I think their explanation is closer to the truth than yours, but that doesn't matter. You're entitled to your opinion, just as they are entitled to theirs. However, there's no need for these kinds of qualifications of other people's reasoning. It are qualifications like this that can turn a thread into another big argument. To all of you: you disagree about the reasons they decided to use more traditional LEGO heads in the TV show. It's clear you're not going to convince each other, so there's no point repeating your opinion over and over again.
  15. With thanks to JunkstyleGio (from Lowlug), here's a side-by-side comparison in LDD.
  16. It's a complete rebuild of the van, so it's not easily explained with one picture. I suggest you install LDD on a computer and download the LXF file.
  17. Let's get this thread back on topic please. Just to be clear, this is the end of this discussion. Feel free to argue through PM, but not in this thread.
  18. Thanks for your comments. The length is the same. I managed to reduce the height by one brick (the whole van is lowered by one plate and the counter is lowered by two plates) and then some on top of the roof. Here's a comparison to the original (image from Clone OPatra's review of the set).
  19. The ice cream truck in the 70804 The LEGO Movie set was way too tall for my liking, so I decided to modify it to better (better, it's still pretty big for an ice cream van) fit the typical LEGO City scale. I kept all the original design elements, but got rid of the dark grey car base. Using only pieces from the set itself, I came up with this alternative model: LDD file is attached (I didn't bother with the big cone on the roof ). 70804 Ice Cream Van.lxf
  20. It's the right place. We just like to keep all discussion not specifically related to one of the modular buildings in the Modular Buildings general discussion thread. I have merged your thread into the existing topic.
  21. I merged your thread with an existing topic on the same issue.
  22. Don't worry about that, you'll find your way around the board eventually and get a feeling of what goes where. We decided to put CREATOR Houses (just like the Modular Buildings) in the Town forum, because they're minifigure scale and supplement the City range, which is mainly focused on vehicles these days, really well. (Before you ask, microscale town creations go in Special Themes again. )
  23. The slot seems to be inherent to the design of the element. There's no room left for the plastic next to the stud from a piece that locks into a headlight brick from below.
