My bad guys! I thought I was onto something when I just saw toys on the list. Apparently Amazon doesn't call Lego a toy even when it's in their toy section... Oh well. So what did everyone manage to pick up at the toy world sale? I was busy all weekend and couldn't get in but I'm not that worried about it.

Well I haven't done it yet myself but that's just completely bursts my bubble. Did you choose the expidited option for the shipping?

Hey guys big news! We can finally buy lego from Amazon! I noticed it the other day when I was looking up how much it was to buy CDs. So it's $13.99 US per shipment then $2.50 US per pound. This makes buying Lego in New Zealand so much cheaper. I think I'm going to try and see how well it goes with a few sets to see how well their shipping goes with the boxes.

I. Love. Tangled. I think it has to be because John Lasseter was executive producer and wanted pixar quality. And boy does it show. When you get a class of 30 high school boys laughing at what is supposed to be a 'girls film' I think you've done a good job.

Has anyone bought LA noire yet? And if so what's your take on it? It looks good but I just wonder what the story line and the open world are like to play. I may have to get dirt 3 over it though.

Looks great im sure Lego will sell heaps of these because of the amazing box art. I don't really notice the box art that much but this one really stands out. It really does lift the set up and as Fallenangel said it will become a collectors item for sure. It's great to see Lego does put a lot of thought into their box designs. Thanks for the pic!

Its good for me to. I've never had this problem before Though i do have a recurring problem with the get new post icon link. It's when I open it in the same tab. It comes up and does what it's supposed to do. But when I go back with the back button in the browser it still shows the new post icon when it shouldn't. It doesn't happen though when I go back from the topic with the forum tab up the top of the site. It's kinda weird and is there any reason why it happens?

I guess I'll get dead nation and Wipeout. They dont look great but I already have LBP and inFamous. But I guess a free game is a free game. It's really nice that they are doing this as they really didn't have to do anything. I'm really loving it back on though. I bough Assassins Creed Brotherhood and while the story confuses me, the multiplayer is so much fun! I think it's one of the best games I've played online for sure.

I agree with you completely. I think Oppress looks way better than Maul. Mostly because of what you said, Maul's face is just too squeezed and Oppress's eyes don't look so beady (yes a CW face is actually a good thing now). Padme, yeah is disappointing. It's good that we have a fleshy padme though even if it is kinda crap. I think the best minifig out of those has to be Qui-Gon. They got the facial hair pretty spot on and have the bushy eye brows to go with it. I love that!

Looks awesome! I love that all the buildings have their unique look and shape. My favourite building would have to be the one with the CIS tank droid wheel piece on top. It looks fantastic! Are you planning on adding to this diorama any time soon?

I love the ambush shot soloscud! I love that the colours of the battle droids and the clones are really vibrant. I do like the tint on the image it gives it a nice glow. The environment is perfectly sized and the minifigs don't look out of place at all. Keep up the good work!

Yeah I've been struggling with this too. POTC are cool but I'm not obsessed with them. I have been eyeing up those blue base plates to put minifigs on instead of the green ones I have already. But they're not entirely useful for much else. What's everyone else getting with it? I'm probably going to use the 30% off to buy the v wing at $35. Which pretty good I think.

I love this thread too. I never been to a Lego store and I love to see how much Lego how many bricks you can get in these tiny cups. If we had s Lego store in new Zealand I would so stock the cup full of dark tan. Its definitely my favorite Lego colour of all time. For you people with PAB walls, is the wall your primary source of buying loose bricks? Is it easy to find the better colours or do they only come around only so often?

I got the game a couple of months ago. While I agree its a terrific game, I don't see myself getting really obsessed with it. Its a really good game though, its thought out well, its got good graphics, awesome game features and the factions are really thought through well. However I think because it is turn based it doesn't have the flowing gameplay like age of empires does. I do love how you can "talk" with other leaders too. Having them love you or hate you really gives the game strategy as to who to partner up and who to kill. My favourite faction has to be the Romans. I don't know why, I cant even remember if their faction bonuses are good but I just like them and see what could've happened if Rome didn't collapse.

We had to watch that for an English visual text essay for school. We had to watch it three times in the space of three weeks. The first time it was pretty good but I could never watch that movie again, ever. Watched Gattaca the other day. Quite a good film, its got good insight as to how genetic engineering could effect our society soon. Its definitely worth a watch in my opinion.

I agree. Though if I was to get a CW minifig signed by anyone it would definitely be from her as shes the only one thats truly from the CW and her character isnt shown anywhere else.
