Here's my entry! The stormie is the stand in for the white boba. It was the only real white minifig I had on hand that looked good in there. Boba so pissed that the pure white snow covered up his bad-megablocks suit he wanted revenge on Hoth. A wampa lumbers in the cave and seeing the white beast Boba goes insane and rips its intestine out. Kids, never kill Wampas.

Minifigures - I chose the Rebel Scout Speeder. Just because the soldiers are so iconic and yet this was the first set to have them! And to make it even better you get four! Pieces - I chose, again, the Rebel Scout Speeder. A good sticker sheet (yes you can have one of those), some interesting curved and angled bricks and a nice colour selection too. But I dont expect a BP to be the best parts pack ever. Design - I chose the Hoth Rebel Trooper pack. Mostly because it's a pretty good design, looks good for how many pieces were used. Also because it's a canon vehicle in Star Wars. This was the first time we had seen this in BPs and it was OT.

Aghh!! There should be an immediate ban from linking scum like this why her friends are trying at 13 I have no idea...). hmpf: But seriously Tricky-brick nice work on the up to date satire.

Done! Added a bit of cheek in there too. Just trying draw attention to the Chinese plastic situation. Its just a deep concern of mine.

Building mine tonight! Its taken me a while, lots of stuff going on at the moment. I hope no one steals my idea. I just hope I have time to photograph and upload it.

Looks great FA! I think you have really got a great X-wing on your hands there. The shape good, it has got good greebling and the tiling and studs are in the right places. But excuse me for being ignorant, but would it look better in white? Or is grey the more accurate colour? Though there are some criticisms I do have with it. The engines I do find a bit off. Its those bricks that I am not loving. The gaps in between them (those little square bits) just dont work. Would there be any way of replacing them with another piece? Or even remaking them, having it not to round, but eliminating those gaps?

Who was it? I dont mind it I got a good chuckle from it. Sure it may be a little brash, but it is any constellation that your photography skill are wonderful?

I agree! I cant believe I never thought about that! Its perfect for a hologram, I wonder if Lego may steal your idea for it. Keep up the good work!

Yeah sorry that would've probably been a better way to explain myself. I do realize some parts are a bit inaccurate, but it's really unavoidable in my opinion. In 2007 I recall they werent pressing out specific parts for sets so the use of the x-wing cockpit piece is unavoidable, unless the spend an age trying to get a brick built one, but then that has no glass in it. The set is in pristine condition which the production model isn't. I prefer the gleaming white to the dirty white and grey, its just more vibrant and feels Lego-y to me (can we make that an adjective now?). Let it be noted also that there are only 2 cheese slopes on the set. So I think its some impressive detailing to get the intricate detail done. Also, what I mean by well scaled is that its well proportioned unto itself. There's no part I feel that you can say, thats way to big or they could've shorten that.

Is it just me, or does Shadows all always have the most bad megablocks death in mafia games? -
Im reading the Making of Star Wars. It's a really good book and provides a lot of insight to the film that started it all.

that's what I thought too. I Was just asking for an overall picture. I think it would help me visualise the whole mod and I don't see how the back part could not be finished because this is version 9. I assume you have something decent there. So why was this thread even necessary then if you are just going to kill it off?

I voted for Def's banner 2. It's because I really like the way it looks. The glowing EB star is a really great alternative to the original one. I love the planet in the corner cause it's a really nice nod to the way the starting of the films are laid out. The Slave 1 is a really iconic ship and that paricular slave 1 set I love. I really like the backlighting on the title it's a really good way to frame the title and look awesome too. Darth Maul is giving a really evil stare and Maul is a memorable character from the prequels. The tagline is put in a good place too cause it's not really in the way but still visible. I know I'm the only one voting for this particular design but I love it!

Linko your photos would make perfect wallpapers! Especially the Dooku shot, its really crisp and I love to way you have made it off-centre (I just love aesthetics). I cant wait to see more from you!

Well, really I would go for the Death Star playset. Its got lots of minifigs and just frames all the iconic scenes nicely. But its UCS! So what would my favourite set be you ask? it definitely would be the 2007 Y-Wing! This just resembles classic modern Lego to me. The flesh smilie shows how the evolution of the minifig, the greebling showing how small pieces can be used for effect detail and the well scaled ship with perfect curves just shows how much Lego is more an art form than toy. And it was my first Lego set I bought as well.

Ive already got a few ideas in my head. Just hoping I can pull them off! Super generous prizes too! Im sure everyone will be jealous of the winners.

Im having a hard time looking at the ship in these pictures you have provided. Can you post some photos the whole ship so we can see how well proportioned it is? Thanks

Decision made! It was pretty fifty-fifty for me until you guys raved about the chrome which decided it for me. And chinese plastic just isnt really ideal for a high price minifig like this. Maybe I can win a White Boba in the raffle though? That would make the decision pretty easy.

Hinck you should've chosen me, I don't metagame. Or is that the prerequisite for being an all-star? -

CAAUUUTTTEE! Treasure that pic Def and Draggy. I think there should be a fabuland photo contest now. -
Boy, that's a tough one Macoco. Yeah I would rule out the AT-AT too. I mean it's a good set and has it's merits but compared to the home one and battle of endor it doesnt really compare. So all that leaves is the home one and endor set. Personally, I would pick the home one over endor. But thats really because of the minifigs. It's because they are probably going to be exclusive to this set for a long time. They arent the most exciting minifigs but they are interesting. It's just because they aren't what you expect and fill the diplomatic void in the SW universe. The home one part of it is good and Ackbars chair is a cool feature. The green a wing is awesome though. It definitely beats the traditional red and makes your rebel forces seem more of a rag tag team. There's some good playability features if your into that kind of thing. And Ackbar is awesome! The battle of endor is a good army builder and it is a pretty big set. That's because of all the other pieces besides the bunker. The catapult, glider, speeders and the chicken walker give it a lot more bang for your buck compared to the home one. The minifigs are really good too. The ewoks are nice and will go well with this years Ewok attack. The soldiers while they look cool and their torsos would be good for customising, mine have quite tight helmets. That means it doesn't feel that secure and I think if you weren't careful would be easy to lose. Han and Chewie are pretty standard though but leia is really unique to this set. The hair and torso won't come back for a while. The scouts are special too. Being in only one other set before so they are quite valuable. But with the Ewok attack coming out the price of them may come down even more so if you were wanting to resell them I would do it quick. The bunker is ok, lots of extra guns in it which is a plus. The exploding pieces is a weird feature. So really it's which ever one you want. They are older sets so I would get them quicker. But I would choose the home one if it was me. Hope this helps! Now my question! White Boba Fett or Chrome Darth Vader? About the same price, same coolness. Would love to know what you guys think!

Oh! The other day I did see the dobby HP set in Toyworld. I didnt have any money one me so I rushed back home to get some but it went. I dont know what I wouldve done with it though. I couldve put it on TM or sold it to one of you guys or kept it. So maybe seeing if Toyworld can import one or something might be the way to go CF

Happy Birthday! Hope you have one of the greatest days of your life!!
