That's probably the case for most of us here! So, why arn't members of the public allowed? You'd think it would be a golden opportunity for advertising etc. I can understand not allowing young kids.

Whilst playing with Slave I a few mins ago, I noticed a flaw: Dengar's hood (a Ninja hood I beleive) has a clip on the back. "Great" I thought - somewhere to put his weapon. Then I realised that its supposed to be Ninja hood. So, presumably, the clip is for the Shinobigatana (Ninja sword). In that case, the clip is facing the wrong way. The shoulder-located Shinobigatana would be drawn by the Ninja using the right hand and drawing upwards. The minifig would have to draw left-handed, which would be certain death. You'd think LEGO would get this right.

Just finished building. Great fun. One big piece was warped though - will try to call Lego later (already tried but a technical fault meant I couldn't be put through to a Lego Expert. Did anyone else have a 2 x 4 black brick left over? I've scoured the instructions to see where I missed, but can't see it. In the review, it points out the front doors containing who-knows-what. Could these be weapons for Boba and the Bespin guard? Makes little sense I know, but I'm disappointed at a lack of weaponry for all the cast. For how cheap the loudspeakers and lights are, you'd think they'd do a couple.

I do get it then, its just rubbish

Its 2 in the morning and I just finished building my B-Wing. I also had the V-Wing and TIE Interceptor arrive today. I was think about building Slave I too, but I made a few mistakes toward the end of the B-Wing just basically down to tiredness and I don't think I could cope with Slave I. Something to look forwrd to tomorrow. Generally - WOW. Impressive. Fun build, too. My only one single small criticism (unless I'm being dumb, which is quite possible) is the missile firing mechanism - I don't get it.

Its a TARDIS. Look, its blue. Its police-box sized. I can't see a "toilet" sign anywhere. Its obviously been accidentally inserted by over-humoured LEGO catalogue illustrators looking to give us a glimpse at the as-yet-undisclosed Dr Who licence sets. Its just materialised there. I bet the crane's even controlled by a Dalek! :D

Hey, hope no-one minds me posting in "trains and town", I'm only really interested in Star Wars, but something I saw on the main page compelled me to post: In the Crane set, that blue hut thing in the middle - is that the TARDIS? Looks a lot like it. Where's the Dr?

That's smart. Thanks. The underside is especially well detailed in comparison to Jango's Slave I Semi-Off topic a second: I;ve just pre-ordered my V-Wing (on its own), B-Wing and TIE Interceptor from Amazon.co.uk. Due for release 12.1.06. Waiting for Slave and A-Wing to become available. I've ordered though Amazon rather than S@H as delivery is MUCH cheaper (and generally quicker)

You could replace the 2x2 plates with turntables (part 3680c01). That the wings fold would them in place either horizontally or vertically by gripping the body of the v-wing

I concur. This is almost like LEGO is just looking for more ways and more simple ways to make money

I told my mate (another AFOL) that I'd bought the ISD. You should have seen his face drop. Until I showed him my ISD - in all its 2 inch MINI glory. :oD Actually, we could do with another batch of MINIs, where you can build another model with parts supplied with each of them.

Salacious Crumb would well cool. But is it likely? I know expensive sets are prone to producing unqiue figs (like the printed Boba, Lando etc, Mace, Uncle Owen etc) but how well know is Salacious Crumb, honestly? Saying that, it shouldn't be too hard to modify a Gungan minifig, should it? If price was a issue here and LEGO said, we can do either Salacious Crumb OR a Sarlac, bit not both, I'd definately say Sarlac. Yeah, I think R2 and C-3PO will be there - easy and relevent. And why not? I think keep out Bib Fortua and the Gammorean guard - keep them for their unique sets. But lets have a new Lando and a Boba. Oh, and can R2 come with a special Lightsaber launching mechanism????

I enjoyed Batman Begins at the cinema but did feel there was an element of sacrilage. Certainly, there was zero continuity between Batman Begins and Batman (Tim Burton version). Considering Batman Begins was touted as a Prequel (a la Star Wars), a prequel was about the last thing it was. Excusing the George Clooney version which was c**p, I feel the Batman (Dark Knight) movies (as opposed the the Batman (Caped Crusader) film) were pretty definitive and also diverse enough to warrant a LEGO licence. I just hope that LEGO stick to one generation and don't use bits from each.

I used to post on FBTB. Left because of the way they were treating people. Talk about not being welcoming and chastising every newcomer. "Use the search button" "If you keep going off topic, you'll be banned" <immediatelty followed by going off topic> Not nice place. :( Eurobricks far nicer :)

Presumably all these bat symbols are to do with Hallowe'en. Can I suggest we leave 'em in this thread as the theme is perfect - bats and all? Oh, and which version of the Batmobile do you think we'll get? I've not read the comics but I can think of the following off the top of my head: The open top thing from the 60s Burt West series the rocket propelled jobby from the Michael Keaton films The one from Batman Forever The one from Batman and Robin The 4WD jobby from Batman begins

OK, I fail to see the connection between SW/Mr Maul and Jujitsu given that Ray Park is a Wushu practitioner, but yep, I (primarily) teach Jujitsu. Also Kickboxing and bits of others. My guess is you looked at my web site |-/

Thanks for the welcomes. :$ Should be a fun ride...

Hello I'm Pete, from Worcestershire, England. I'm a Nurse by day, Martial Arts coach by night, and fit Star Wars Lego in somewhere in between. I've joined because I'm exited by the 2006 Star Wars and Batman sets. Hope to enjoy my stay here

Hey! New member, first post, highly excited by Sailbarge and also Batman sets. My (very) humble opinion: It makes no sense to have another Luke - we got him with the Desert Skiff. The two sets should compliment each other. I just hope the respective sizes are somewhere like relative scale. Not so close though that the 'barge is
