The Brigante replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
Went to my local Toys R Us on my lunch break today and saw no sign of Rocket. Asked and the guy said he'd heard nothing about the RR Poly -

This has to be my favourite of all the ones you've down thus far! Great work again! -
Sir Patrick is partially responsible for making me the Marvel geek I am today, just the way he brought Xavier to the big screen was amazing. He was born to play Prof X . As for Cage though, and I never thought I'd say this, but I agree with Ultron. Cage is just. Bleugh

Whilst I love Cumberbatch, he does seem to be risking overexposure. Not that I have a problem with that, I think he'lll do a wonderful job portraying Doc Strange, especially given his performances as Sherlock. As for the Spider/MCU debacle. I HOPE in the name of Odin that they sprt something out. Not just because Spidey made Civil War for me, but just cause I'd love to see Garfield alongside the likes of Evans and Downey Jr

Any word on when/if he'll be avalible in the UK? My RR sticks out like a sore thumb next to the rest of the Gaurdians -
"He is definitively a big part of 'Civil War,'" Feige told reporters. "We will meet him for the first time in 'Civil War,' in costume." Nothing to say we won't be seeing T'challa in AoU

DC Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussions

Cheers for the links Just2Good! And thanks Hulk_Smash for giving us all reliable information! Have to say, I'm stoked for this wave. Black Manta, Captain Cold, Grodd, New 52 Bats and WW, Flash (I know he's already been released, but I didn't pick up the Riddler set). Super excited for the Braniac and Darkseid sets. Not only do we get two of my all time favourite villains, but we also get MM, Supergirl, Cyborg and my two favourite DC heroes (besides Supes and Nightwing)- Hawkman and Green Arrow. Kinda chuckled when I saw they were in a set together given their vitriolic relationship. Would have prefered someone like Atom or Booster Gold instead of MM seeing as we got him last year, but given all the goodness that's coming next year, I'm not gonna complain. Is 2015 gonna be the best year thus far for Lego DC? YOU BET!!!! -

Hulk Smash posted it about 5 pages back. Supes, one of the Hawks, big-fig Darkseid, Brainiac and either a Brainiac goon or Cyborg. Also, welcome to Eurobricks :-) -
For me, the juniors and original Batman sets' Robin is Dick. The SH Robin is Tim and Steamroller Robin is Damian. The only male Robin as yet unproduced is Jason, be it as Red Hood or Robin. I hope we get a mini-figure of him though, I absolutely adore him and IMHO he's the only person missing to complete the Bat-Family, unless you count Alfred!

We don't know for certain that he's being made. I'd advise not jumping to conclusions or you could find yourself very disappointed....

We won't get one until at least ASM 3, and I doubt we'd get such a minor variation. I know there's no evidence so far, but I think if LEGO did make a variant suit, it'd be Iron Spider or Future Foundation or Scarlet Spider or something. You may be able to get one of the minifigs from the original Spider-Man line on Bricklink or similar sites. It's dark blue and (IMHO) looks far better than the new version, plus it fits with the movie Avenger figs far better.

What is the best £/$ 20 superhero set
The Brigante replied to Peasantseverywhere's topic in LEGO Licensed
For me, probably the first superhero set I got- Lex's Power Armour. Superman, Wonder Woman and Luthor himself. Plus the mech reminds me of my old Exo-Force days (which aside from Marvel SH, SW and Bionicle was the only line I made an active effort to collect) The Batboat is also really nice, and until last month, the Arctic Batman was the only set released Batman in my collection (I had the Electro suit from the book)- 18 replies

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Quill's Marvel Now costume is the one in the Lego Marvel game isn't it? I actually prefer that one.... As for the whole Drax issue, I would prefer green, but movie Drax appears to be sorta olive-y. Either way, the colour would be off. Although I wish Lego had gone with a darker grey. Kinda disappointed we haven't gotten any Winter Soldier sets. I have seen the movie, so I know why people say there's not much that would make good sets, but seriously, take Skull and the Hydra Agent out of the tank set and swap in two of Winter Soldier, Crossbones and Batroc et voila! Perfect tie in set.

Jeez, is it really that hard to check the bloody forums before you post? It's not like it's lost in the depths of the licenced forums. 1st page, 2nd max. I'm assuming your eyes still serve you adequately? Use them.

I'm not going to get that mad, but would you mind putting important plot stuff in spoiler tags in future please? I haven't seen it yet and am waiting to watch it with my fiancée when it's released on DVD. Thankfully I skimmed through all of it before I got too much plot. Anyway; I watched Catching Fire last night. I haven't read the books in a while so I was able to caught off guard by some of the twists such as: I'm interested to see how they handle Plutarch's character in Mockingjay, given Phillip Seymour Hoffman's tragic and sad passing. Overall I give Catching Fire 8/10 and look forward to Mockingjay!! -
My apologies, I know you don't go that far. Although sometimes it seems like you're covertly trying to bash Marvel a bit. It may just be me, but just a friendly notice. Is anyone else disappointed we won't get any more main DC sets this year? Would it really have been hard for Lego to put MM in a set with *groan* Batman? Granted, I don't know who the villain could be, but if would give DC a boost considering the 4 Marvel sets coming out over the summer, and possibly a new Batsuit variant (I can't be the only one who wants a space and/or Sinestro/GL corps Batsuit, can I?

Watched Thor:TDW yesterday. Enjoyable, but seemed, I dunno. It feels like it started about halfway through the story really. Would have been nice to have some development for Malekith (which I understand was filmed and later cut) and also if there was just, more before the Dark Elves attacked. Just more of Thor in peacetime Asgard. I thought that while well used, the warriors 3 and Sif didn't have much development either. The running time (1:37) was disappointing, although there were some awesome moments (the 'I can feel the righteousness surging' bit was the best but of the film for me!) -
With 'all due respect', isn't that what you seem to do a lot of the time, only in reverse? Quite a few times I've logged onto the forum to see you bashing Marvel/bigging up DC. Just sayin... Also, he might legitimately not know MM's name, so there's no need to be so rude about it. In more positive tone: I am super excited to get MM, I mean, I'll no longer need my purist version, but it's awesome to have him. I honestly expected GL and Cyborg first. At the very least. Now all Lego need to do is make Hawkman, Atom and Booster Gold!!
