Heroica RPG - Quest#25: Imbuing the Sword
Dannylonglegs replied to Bricksandparts's topic in The Heroica Archive
Sylph requests respectfully and non-threateningly, "Excuse us, mates. We don't want any trouble, just give us a second to confer with each other, and we'll be on our way." Then Sylph addresses the group very quietly. "Do you all remember the crack in the wall a while back? Since they're giving us a chance to leave, I suggest we take it, go back there, blow the wall down with a fire bomb and take them by surprise. Either way we should get out and regroup. What do you all think? I doubt there's any way to take out the guy holding Sam hostage without hurting Sam." -
Of course, but my forehead is always in need of attention.
-
I am glad to know you find my ample forehead pleasing. I polish it daily, from it's base to it's tip in following standard Cerean hygiene. Even in my venerable age it proudly stands erect above my brow.

"Well that wasn't too tough. I though there was a good reason we were running from those goons." Grunts Sylph, rubbing his bruised shoulder. Noticing Erdathcath's injuries, he announced "I'll heal Erdy, and then myself." and did so. -
Whooo! Yeah! Ki-Adi-Mundi reporting for duty! I gotta rewatch every thing about him to get into character! Thanks for letting me in the game! I'll post more soon! ~Insectoid Aristocrat Ki-Adi-Mundi

I agree, and that's a great list! I'd throw in a fly headed scientist and the medusa we saw a sketch of, although she sort of falls under the mythological entity category. There are plenty of monsters out there just begging to be made into lego (the creature from the black lagoon was one of them) so I do hope they'll have at least a second wave. ~Insectoid Aristocrat -
The picture itself might be bright, but to me it looks like the green is actually bright green, which wouldn't work with my poor army men, but might make for an interesting combo with the witch head. Can anyone confirm otherwise? Also, I don't frequently go for the promos. Is there a limit for how many one household can get if it's purchased at the store? Could I get one one day and another the next? ~Insectoid Aristocrat

I too am totally psyched to get more Glow-in-the-dark pieces! Especially this new glow in the dark which is whiter than previous versions. On the subject, I'm even more excited to get that white/Glow-in-the-dark spider that features in several sets! I have plenty of black and trans-... spiders, and a grey spider web, but I've never had a white spider! And, I love the use of flick-fires to launch the spider in the Vampyre's castle. This is one of the only times I've ever approved of Flick-fire missiles! Although it is a Monsters v. Humans theme, the Humans do get to fight one human... Doctor Frankenstein! who is technically a person, just a bad one. Sorry I forgot about this, You're thinking of Bandit! ~Insectoid Aristocrat -

Well, I'd count four: Mummy, Vampire, Monster, and Frankenstien. Then, there are also the zombies and the werewolf that had renditions in the CMFs, but look signifficantly different. Which is not to say that such similarity in character is a bad thing. I think it'll add great diversity to my collection! ~Insectoid Aristocrat -

I'm a great fan of Starwars, and an even greater fan of Mafia! Sign me up and count me in! Oh, I have to apply first? Fine. Question 1: Well, I've been in enough Mafia games not to be allowed into a Mafia school, (it may have something to do with the fact that I've already graduated one.) but not enough to be seriously considered for Hinckley's Smexxy Steampunk game. I have been in the following Mafia and Mystery games; I died as Donna Falcon, an innocent, stupid, 50 year old human resources consultant in Hinckley's Red Moon, 1 and 2! I died as Mrs. Julia Montgomery, wife of Jack, mother of Jeremy, and Owner of Local Pet Store in Suburbia. I lived the good life as Daniel de Belle-ville, international playboy, in Belville Mafia, until I died. I played as Gavin Gorilla, a loving townie in Hinckley's Mafia School: Fabuland Housewives, but died. And finally, my very first and proudest role was as Louis Inglston, a Gas store worker, and insane rhyming Serial Killer, and winner in Darth_Legois and Bob the Construction Man's Prohibition Mafia. That was fun! No one but Shadows suspected me of anything, and Shadows was the scum mastermind (as usual). Suffice to say, the Town didn't know what hit 'em (It was me and Shadows' pals). Question 2: I don't plan on leaving this exact spot for the next six weeks. I will literally remain right here on this chair in the kitchen on a laptop for the next 6 weeks. I will not go to school, I will not eat, I will not sleep. So, no, I have no plans. Question C: My favorite character. Hmm. Hmmmmm. Oooh, this is tough. I think either Han Solo or Boba Fett deserves my pick the most, as they are the coolest original trilogy characters. Cad Bane though, is also on my list. He's so bad-megablocks he even makes The Clone Wars look cool(ish)! So did Trench, but not as much. I've got a thing for baddies! Boba Fett wins. He's so cool! So, you know, please let me in your game!!! I don't know how much longer I can survive bereft of mafia game participation! I can spell! That's gotta count for something! ~Insectoid Aristocrat -

There's always the possibility that they could have a similar being show up, but I doubt they would call him a demon. Maybe we could get an evil red djinni. I hope that Monster Fighters continues, because I've been waiting for a theme like this and there's so much yet untapped material, but I'm also sceptical of that happening. ~Insectoid Aristocrat -

I should have been more specific. I meant I doubt lego'll make a minifigure that represents a Christian/other Religion's Demon. Crazy Demon is indeed refering to such a demon, but the relation is quite distant, as it's just a truck, nothing demonic. Speeda Demon is not directly refering to a religious demon, but rather the phrase, speed demon. That being said, I was actually surprised that they called him that. ~Insectoid Aristocrat -

Sure, but do you see any crosses in the graveyard? Athiests and members of many religions get buried in graveyards too. Demons (as they are most often portrayed) are associated with christianity but always have something to do with a religion. Vampires and graveyards, although sometimes portrayed as having something to do with religion (Dracula v. Cross), remain unaffiliated. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
