Jedi Temple Mafia - Day One
Dannylonglegs replied to Masked Builder's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Thank you for explaining yourself. Once again, It was mostly the way you phrased it that tripped my scumdar. I agree. Her actions have indeed been somewhat suspicious. I just don't think she's scum. The way she pleads her case makes her seem more like she's been trying to find a way to help, and failing, than intentionally trying to manipulate the group into not voting. I think if she was a scum, she'd be more subtle about it, and suggest it when it came up as opposed to having it be her opening statement. If she had waited for it to come up in the conversation she could have said: "I misunderstood what you were trying to say, I was just pointing out that this is how you would have to do it if you wanted to do it. I never actually thought we should do it, it's a bad idea." and gotten of Scott free, as opposed to what's going on now. This is why I don't agree with the Ahsoka bandwagon that's formed. I still think that it's more likely that she tried and failed to say something helpful early on, ignorant of the fact that it was a bad idea in this (and most) situation(s). Well, it's too late for sense, she's already voted. I agree with you on Ahsoka. She made a mistake in the beginning of the day, and didn't really disown her suggestion until recently, but why would a scum keep herself a suspect for so long? I'm not saying I'm convinced that she's innocent, and the suggestion really can be perceived as an attempt to convince the town not to vote, but I'm not sold on it. Not nearly sold on that argument enough to vote for her. There's still 48(ish) galactic hrs left in the day -

What sort of solid defense do you think she can conjure up? I'm not saying I agree with her original suggestion, but I'm not convinced it means she's scum. I sense a bandwagon forming, and, while several of those casting their finger upon her have made solid arguments against her (to which she has replied and answered for the most part), this does not strike me as one of those. This strikes me as either an opportunistic scum's attempt to side with the group about to lynch a townie, or the move of someone who's not trying very hard to help form a case against someone he suspects as scum. I understand if it's the later, and in that case, I suggest you write out your reasoning more convincingly. I am most curious at your use of the word solid defense, because it's obvious that she could not have one. She suggested something that would benefit the scum, early on, and has been dealing with it since. There's no defense for that, solid or otherwise. She's made her case time and again. What you really mean is, I am unconvinced by your pleas of innocence, I'm gonna vote for you unless someone else suggests a better candidate. I don't mean to offend you, or to suggest that you're a Lynching candidate, but this statement makes me somewhat suspicious of you. -

Please, R2, communicate with us like a sentient robot! Not only is this annoying, It causes strain on us all, Especially C-3PO. He's been a very active participant so far, but how would we know what you're trying to say if he took a rest. What would you do if he died? What if he's a scum and he alters what you want to say? It causes strain on the other participants too, by making quoting you far more difficult than it should be, and generally causing confusion. I'm sure there are plenty more reasons to stop too. At the moment, I will cast my FoS: R2-D2(fhomess) upon you until you start to speak. -

There's plenty to learn from a lynch. In order for us to locate the sith, we must analyze the actions and words of our fellows. Occasionally, a scum slips up and makes an easily identifiable blunder, giving away his or her alignment. Most frequently though, on can infer from voting habits of a player his or her alignment, especially latter in the game. -

"I would like to give Hoke my tonic. Free of charge. We don't have time to rest, correct if I'm wrong god, so, please drink it, I'll just buy another. Why else do I have money? Money is nothing next to power. I agree with you about the amethyst though! It's brilliant! I love it! " -

'Yes. He should stay quiet, but if he doesn't, that's none of my concern. we'll be right back after a few explosive messages. and it's not like they'll be able to find him/ remember him/ think it was more than an illusion from our wizard to distract them from Sam. Disembodied voices are a super basic cantrip, or so I'm told' thinks Sylph to the gods. "So now that we're here, what do you all suggest we do? Is the hole large enough to fire an arrow or crossbow bolt into? Or should we start by blowing it up?" -

Tone forgiven, but keep in mind the context of my statement: this was said at a time when I felt that there was a growing movement of people seriously contemplating dodging the vote. Sure, my statement was not as eloquent as I was aiming for, but it served it's purpose: to remind the group that our primary weapon and greatest hope for survival and success remains, the Lynch vote. I did not want to see that vote wasted and I spoke up. -

It's not just "Bedtime Story. Many Holonet programs have an inexperienced, semi-illogical new player as their first cast-off. -

I for one think that we all should vote for whomever we all view as the most suspicious when the time comes, and we should all think hard before we act, for each of us only has one chance to vote and cannot take it back. We all should try to find someone we can vote for because if we do not use our one power to lynch, then we let the scum have a free night to kill more of us. -

You have suspicions already? I certainly hope you're looking at more than the cover of the hologram, and not arriving at your thoughts by judging appearances. I trust that a Jedi such as yourself would not come too hastily to conclusions. What matters now is within the hearts of our fellow Jedi, and their actions. -

I am appalled at the death of this poor Jedi, and I am even more worried by the implications of his death. It is certain that someone or ones among us now are responsible for his demise? No outside force could be responsible? This is a great tragedy, and it weighs heavily on my hearts and massive forhead. -
Quit moping, you scruffy nerf herder!

"Don't have to tell me twice!" Said Sylph, who bowed and backed away, never letting his eyes leave his opponents until they turned the corner. Once out of earshot, Sylph conferred with his team on their way to the room with the crack in the wall. "Ok, that went well, We've seen their gun and we can get to it from that crack we saw earlier. Once we get back to the room, we can decide how to break through, but at the moment, I think a firebomb or waterbomb would do nicely." -
And suffering leads to sufferage! And Sufferage leads to lynching!

"Right," said Sylph, regaining his composure and returning to a respectfull tone. "We didn't mean to intrude, we only wanted to rescue Sam, and now that we have, we can go, no harm done." -
I've got a couple of these Friends sets, (they're really my little sister's, but yuknow...) And I really dig them! So many new parts and colours! I do have a question though; Are the arms of the minidolls removable? I'm sure someone's already asked, but it's not anywhere in the past 2 pages. I love some of these upcoming sets too! Especially the riding camp set! It's huge! Also, the flight school set is great! Overall, I'm quite pleased with the theme. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

"Is that your hand I see? I'm so scared! How does it work?! I'm sure it could blast us away in an instant! We 4 would never stand a chance against an automated projectile launching war machine and 6 strong-armed guards! Maybe I came on a little strong. We don't need an apology, we beat the lights out of your palls, you held ours hostage. Seems even." Having said that, Sylph turns to his companions and whispers quietly "Lets go back to the hole in the wall and blow up the gun before they even get a chance to use it." Reason for edit: Didn't see the pic. -

"Wonderful! I'm glad we didn't leave you! You're actually quite useful!" Called Sylph to the sky. He then returned his attention to the guards. "Now, Gentlemen, I for one do not appreciate your improper treatment of my friend Sam over there. It was most rude of you all, and I despise rudeness. I do believe that the only proper resolution to your problem is a hasty apology or your disgraceful deaths. You've got 10 seconds. And yes, we did 'take out' your blokes. It was hardly a fight.... 10." -
