  1. "Too little too late, Aquos. This'll be over before it begins." Stated Sylph coldly, already gesturing his orders to his party members. He wore the aura of a professional preforming his job, with no more interest in the monster than the interest he had in the colour of his brown cape--The battle was over to him. "Don't worry about invoking the special damage. If he hits you, I'll throw him a bone." Order (If everyone agrees) Punii: Mix Jellies Alex: TT, FR Johon: TT, FR Johon: TT, FR Slushy: TT, FR Elgar: TT, BR Lycan: TT, BR Sylph: Heal Galen, BR Galen: TT, BR Sylph: Heal most injured Party Member, BR (or, in the unlikely event that no one is injured, equip helmet instead of goggle.) (if the free hit is unblockable by covering him like we are, then Alex takes it.)

I am no Fiend... I am bringing about a better world... Mwahahaha!

  3. Let me make this more clear. My theory is that the Witch curses an individual. Said individual then behaves oddly in the day. The Witch can likely choose a different individual each night. This is my theory, not that the role passes on through the cursed, which is what Big Cam thought I meant, which he and I agree is a misinterpretation. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  4. Well, I think there is a role out there that curses someone each night to behave in a peculiar manner during the day for one day. The curse may end at night, at which point the individual with the cursing role can choose another player to be cursed. This is speculation on my part, but it makes the most sense IMO. ~Insectoid Aristocrat *I'll call the curser a Witch unless that's an actual role, or this is a real role with another name. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  5. Addendum: Unless he wants 4 penalty votes, of course. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  6. He can't say anything about it. He'll be normal tomorrow. I don't know about the night threads, but he was cursed with baby nonsense today by someone. It sounds allot like what went on in Forest 2. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Pretty much. With his restrictions he could still be some help, but I imagine it would be allot of work. He can't be normal today. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  7. No, give him a potato. I shouldn't have been so cryptic. He explained his situation to me with potatoes. Apparently he can't acknowledge that he's acting like a baby, but he can explain it to people via potato. Tomorrow he'll be all better, so I think we should judge him when he can behave like a grown up, and not vote for him today. ~Insectoid Aristocrat ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  8. He is. He may talk like a baby, but he dreams like an adult, if you get what I mean. He likes mashed potatoes. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  9. Dis-armed. Get it? GET IT?!

  10. Well, I'm now pretty sure that Big Cam is not a Joker or a Ghost-Killer. Let's hope he gets better soon. While he may not acknowledge that there's something wrong with him, we all certainly can see that he's behaving like a 3 year old. I know from experience how hard making noteworthy comments while cursed with an RP action is. Then again, I was scum in Forest 2 and I was using that to my advantage. Either way, I say we refrain judgement of Big Cam until he can make sense. Poor kid. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

  12. I don't know. I imagine you are trying to figure out if I wrote the post in a Writeboard or Microsoft Word or some other fishy behavior, but that's not the case. I always write my posts in a Reply tab whether I'm scum or not (I've never composed them in the Writeboard or Word), and I'm not scum. I tend to copy and paste from reply tab to reply tab as opposed to multi-quoting, so maybe the format got changed that way? I don't know. As for who I'll vote for, Flare has certainly posted very strange comments--stranger than what I'd suspect of her. I'm not sure whether it's how she usually posts or whether it's because she's having a hard time scumming, as was the case last time I played with her. If nothing else comes up, I'll likely vote for her, but my heart's not quite in it yet. Big Cam is likely the unfortunate victim of a role-play action. That said, he could be a joker or a ghost-killer type, so Big Cam: 1 poop if you're the victim of a role-play action, 2 poops if you should die for some reason. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  13. Sorry about the quote thing. I just copied it from my own quote because I did't want to go back and requote you. I could have just clicked the quote and gone back that way, but I've been really busy with housework recently (I've been taking down a rotting gazebo all day.), so I sort of forgot I could do that. I still think the skelli-head's the scum killer, and the chandelier, the Psycho, but I agree, there's no point in more speculation such as this. Yes, it would be much easier! Unfortunately it would be bizarrely stupid to lie about something so readily provable. Additionally, if the Scum were trying to conceal the puzzle pieces, why even lie? Just wait until you've solved the puzzle on your own and then post it, or post it the next day. Also, you know me, I don't like lying. I'm not sure how finally building the puzzle could be useful to the Town at this point, but I don't see the harm in it. I'm not sure what Analysis to derive from behaviors in regards to the puzzle-pieces. I'm sure the scum wouldn't put forward all their pieces at once, maybe saving them until after they solved the puzzle (and I'm sure the scum solved it. They'd have to be off the ball not to have clinched it. Unlike the riddles and fun nonsense in Forest 2, the clues are in the hands of the few (well, technically a majority of individuals, but I digress.), and not immediately available to the many.) Moreover, revealing them at the exact same time (I'm assuming 3 or so Scum--enough to warrant the name team.) would be unlike the scum, who strive to always avoid associating. Plus, time-zone differences and whatnot. It's likely that at least one member of at least one of the scum teams did not receive a puzzle piece, so maybe we could look for today's lynch from within that net? What's that called? Rule of 5-6s? It's a long shot though. Also, the first few to post their pieces should not be ruled out as potential scum, because while the scum may have their own 2-3 pieces, we can be sure that they couldn't solve the puzzle with simply those. They probably did not receive connecting pieces, but it was probably randomly selected. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

  16. Chillax, man. I read what you said: "Yes, someone could've been converted. Only certain people can be converted though, so it would be lucky on the part of the converting team. We hoepfully also have a vig, but why would a vig go for either one of those people? *snip* So, Capt. Redblade doesn't even appear to have posted in the Night Zero thread. He'd, therefore, make a great vig target, but I don't think the vig would be so sadistic and chainsaw-y. I stand by the idea that Capt Redblade makes a great serial killer target." You first wonder why a vig would go for either of these individuals, but then change your mind completely and decide that he'd make a "great vig target." It's not a damning mistake on your part--you type fast and I can see how your train of thought would simply run from wondering why, to picking out a solution. It just stuck out to me as odd is all. What I find odder is your quick judgement of my post as being not-thought-through, when you clearly didn't read all of mine. I say MO not as a comment related to Nightshroud's miss-use of the word, but rather, a response to this: "but I don't think the vig would be so sadistic and chainsaw-y" You state that the MO is too sadistic and chainsaw-y to be a vig's MO, but I disagree that an MO's morality has anything to do with the affiliation of it's perpetrator, citing your own Forest 2's vig kills as an example. Maybe I shouldn't have said MO when the definition was in question, but you certainly jumped on my post really quickly. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

  19. Yes, I agree. I hope Cornelius isn't convertible, but we're taking the same risks whether we vote Cornelius or Flare, and I'd rather have Cornelius. That's just me. I mean no offence Flare, I think you're a great player, and you really pulled one over me in Jedi Temple (with help from Tammo), but I think Cornelius would be a better candidate for the reasons I explained previously. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  20. I just finished Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, and some of the movies. It was as good as Cowboy Bebop (which I've now watched twice--the movie's great too!) in a different way! I love Sci-fi/CyberPunk. I love the cold, inhuman, electronic feel of a lonely, impersonal, rainy future. (which is not to say that GitS:SAC was overly rainy. I think they captured the feel very well!) It got me so inspired for my Avatar vig that I'm working on for the Sci-Fi contest going on! I'm worried it's too big for a typical Vig shot now, though. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  21. And there's only one enemy out now. I took that into consideration, but I'd like to see if Endgame agrees with my analysis before settling on the plan.
  22. Wah! Oh noes! Obligatory 2 Town Dead statement! :emoticon: That said, I'm sad to see CC go! I was looking forward to playing with him now that I know how fun she can be. Bye bye Culty-pall! I can't say I knew the other guy though. Whelp, alot has happened since I went to sleep--yes, I slept during Mafia. Blame Hink. I'm still on California time thanks to him. Aw, the Puzzle was Psycho Killer? I love The Talking Heads (as the Scum team from Forest 2 knows.) and New Wave! I would have loved to do the puzzle, but, as I said last night, the scum probably rocked it. Ah well, time to vote for the Mayor: CorneliusMurdock. Why you ask? To start, as others would likely guess, he hasn't been voted for yet. Of course this is no indicator that he's not scum, particularly with 2 divergent scum teams out there, but a little part of me thinks that it's less likely that he's scum for that reason. I would have voted for Dave, but Cornelius seems to want it more. Secondarily, I like that he said he wouldn't sheep Hink or Shadows. As much as I love those two, I think our Mayor should be able to stand on his or her own, which I don't trust Flare to do (no offence--I don't trust myself in that respect too much either, though I aught to have learned by now.) Thirdly, I don't get the significance of voting for a lurker for the Mayor. If I'm to vote for a Mayor, I want him/her to vote. Fourthly, (or thirdly point fively, ) it doesn't matter if CM is metagame killed, because we can just vote for another Major. You're able to play Mafia Games via e-reader? I respect that. In my experience, that doesn't work too well. As for the rest of what you've said, it actually makes allot of sense, despite what Hink and DD said in response to it. I don't know if I agree with all of it, but it does seem well reasoned. I'm glad someone mentioned that there are 2 different scum teams, because from what I could tell from the conversation going on before your comment, nobody else seemed to remember that. Your theory that what I suspect was the scum kill (the one with the chainsaw) was actually a vig could deserve some credence, for it was certainly an odd target for the scum (but not so much for a vig, as a lurker or non poster could be seen as scummy), and I think the other belongs to the psycho because of how it all transpired on the page. That said, IMO, it's more likely that the killer was Scum, as I guess it could be reasoned that they determined he was not scum due to the lack of a post last night--something a scum team would surely not allow. I certainly hope we have a vig! Great, we're doing the "Ping " thing again? So you seem to be confused as to why Redblade would have been a Vig target, and then go on to explain why he would have made a great vig target, but that you doubt it due to the MO? The MO's morality rarely has anything to do with the perpetrator as far as I'm concerned, except that it's usually consistent. I seem to recall a certain vig from one of your games who made really sadistic death traps for his targets. Any ways, I doubt that the Psycho Killer (qu'est ce que c'est)'s kill would be brought about by the same dead bloke that bopped us all on the head. I think that it's the Scum or the Town's kill because it seems that the host is facilitating the kills (and the host wants us all dead for some reason.) ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  23. "ha ha ha ha! Yes Alex, do so! Elgar, why don't you go ahead and use that large rod you've got. It should only effect him, as he's the only enemy on the table. Johon, I want you to target him too. victory always tastes sweeter with a dash of decay. With no tentacles up, Aqua-whatever isn't counter-striking, a fact that I hadn't realized last time he was unarmed. Still, if we engage in a full-on assault, those of us who are not lucky (and those who are.) have an increased chance of tripping his tail. Only Johon and Alex should engage him in such a manner. We're running out of luck and phoenix essences. However, if we play our cards right, I may not need to heal Aguor again." Order (if everyone agrees): Punii: Play Dead. Maybe the tentacle'll drop you. Elgar: Needlessly Large Rod: Curse TT, BR Alex: TT, FR Johon: TT, BR Johon: TT, BR (unless he took damage last turn, in which case, Do Nothing) Sylph: Heal Alex (if he took damage, if not, Heal Johon, if he took damage, if not, Drink Tonic) Sylph: Heal Johon (if he took damage and was not healed, if not Heal Most Wounded Party Member, if no party members are wounded, Drink Tonic) Galen: Chill, BR (Or, use grand potion on the most wounded party member if damage exceeds 10 hp.) Lycan: Make like an ice cube and Do Nothing, BR
  24. Oh, wow. This is an interesting development. I, myself, do not have a puzzle piece--which means that I am likely starting off somewhat handicapped and unprepared. I find my chances for successfully inning this slip, particularly since I don't have access to good image editing software at the moment. I wish the riddle/question was host controlled like it was in Forest 2. Regardless, I'll attempt to give it a shot. The last person holding a piece will likely win, and the scum also have a huge advantage.
