  1. "Huh. Good show." Stated Sylph nonchalantly as he poked the Progg with his stick.
  2. Sylph? Reach in? Really? Never! "Would anyone in the Party like to risk it? It's not necessary."
  3. "If anyone wants to risk putting their hand in the pond, do so now. Otherwise, let's go straight. Oh, and I meant the Suffering, but it doesn't really matter. All four of the Gladiolus Unit will be dead by the end of this." Sylph looked into the water.
  4. And in the forest Dini, the weak will lose their mind, but the strong of will shall all go free, their enemies left behind.

  5. Cheetahs never prosper, one shouldn't walk too fast. And should the players mind their feet, then they shall win at last.

  6. "Let's go through. We probably won't be able to return... And I fear that flying noise was The Wound."
  7. Poke... All the Statues.

  8. Well, now that the sets are out, I guess it's about time that I voice my thoughts on the theme. After looking at all the sets (allot), I must say that I'm not highly impressed. Unlike my thoughts on Galaxy Squad, which have improved over time (although I still don't like the snake-like Warp Stinger, and I don't call it Insectoids 2 anymore, because they're almost completely unrelated, but I digress.), my thoughts on this theme have stayed relatively static (although, not negative, like my massive initial disappointment over Galaxy Squad.) That said, despite my overall lack of interest towards the theme, and the sets, there is one model that I not only like, but adore, which might be one of my favorite models ever, that I really have to get my hands on--which is particularly strange because it's 40 bucks, and I rarely buy sets from themes I don't like and I even more rarely buy expensive sets. More on this set later. My thoughts may appear negative, but they're really not. I understand that I am not a member of the target audience, and I've taken that into account in regards to the theme, but I also am a fan of Lego, and I find it disappointing when I do not find myself particularly interested in a promising new theme of theirs. I will be getting some of the sets too, so you know I don't hate the theme. I'll format my thoughts so that you can easily avoid reading them if you don't want. I just thought I'd contribute to the discussion by sharing my opinions and some if my criticisms. Minifigures: Sets: Set by Set: Story: There you go, my thoughts on the new theme. Overall, I don't love it, but it's not bad. I certainly won't get more than 3 sets (if that.) I hope you enjoy my review and criticisms or at least respect my opinions when you disagree. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  9. "Hmm. Perfect." grunted Sylph half-sarcastically. He prodded the statue with his Staff. "We may have to climb this one." He stated as he poked it.
  10. "Let's return to the room with the pond. Perhaps when we get there we can go right. But maybe it won't be there by the time we get back." groaned Sylph.
  11. "Hmm. Well, no harm in trying." mumbled Sylph as he returned his pot to the crook at the top of his staff, and his staff to its place on his back. He looked around to see what directions the could go.
  12. "This is why I have a staff." Stated Sylph, referring to the long stick strapped to his back on which he carried his pot filled with herbs. He drew the staff and removed his pot, taking it in his gloved hand. "I'm always cautious." He said, and prodded the statue with his stick. "And I've never liked statues."
  13. "Hmmmmmm." muttered Sylph, finally online voicing his opinion upon seeing Johon's compass. "Should we go Left then?" He knelt down and rubbed the base of the tree sympathetically. "I fear that this forest is insane, the trees are as confused as we are..."
  14. "Yes, let's go. Thank you sir for your kindness in sharing this masterful mushroom specimen. Get yourself to safety."
  15. "Hmm. This is truly a beautiful fungus. Your devotion to it is admirable. Thank you for the gift--it will come in handy for sure. I will hold on to it for now. "
  16. "If he won't listen to reason, then I see no reason to continue trying to help him." grunted Sylph. "Come out now or we'll stop trying to help you."
  17. Perplexed, Sylph walked over to the door. "The Town Hall has been secured. A number if guards are protecting the Town's inhabitants. You should join them, whoever you are."
  18. Double Post: I just finished watching Spice and Wolf, and I'm really sad that it's over. I really really enjoyed it. I wouldn't say that I liked it more than Cowboy Bebop and Ghost in the Shell, but I became absorbed in the unique fantasy, and would really like to continue watching it, but there aren't anymore episodes. I feel like they could make three more seasons, and I would gladly watch every second. Anyone have any suggestion for a similar feeling Anime? ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  19. "Tragedy. This seems like a healthy tract of land. It should be growing. " grunted Sylph. "Let's go. The Proggs won't attack us until we get there."
  20. "Then I believe we've cleared every location apart from the forest and Dini. Let's move out Gentlemen. Garden, Woods, Dini."
  21. "I believe that is so. Should we go the more direct way, or should we clear out the commoners' quarters and maybe the clearing on our way? It's possible that we could find more tools there to help us in our final endeavor. I'm sure Ediolon will wait for our deaths before making his move anyways. He can't expect to lead an army to conquer Uland when he can't even control Luosh."
  22. Ahahaha! I love that! The white blood is a great touch! ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  23. Wow. I didn't notice that! Great find! In my opinion, this verifies Scouty's claim. If he had noticed that (as he would have had to devise the role claim), he would have brought that to the table earlier. Unless TPRU is his scum-mate which would be super sloppy. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  24. *stifles maniacal laughter.* ~Insectoid Aristocrat
  25. I agree. We can't make an informed decision on this argument unless you clarify that. If the role is only useful against a day kill, I'd be inclined to believe it's a lie, due to the 3 MOs for killers and the lack of one yesterday (even though you were blocked) but I can't make up my mind until I know what it says a little better. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
