    Wow, is the day shorter than usual, or have I really not been paying as much attention as I should be. I suppose the Mayor vote threw me off. I didn't see Li'l Trumpet's claim coming. He seemed to be exhibiting his usual general state of confusion, but I guess it works both ways? On another note, since Li'l Trumpet seems to have blown his last, I'd like to draw attention to some strange behavior I found in my reading of today's thread. I'm going to place my vote on Li'l Scouty today. Vote: Li'l Scouty What really got me suspicious was his late-mid-day defense when he was being accused of behaving scummily. Apart from his over-all defensive attitude, this comment really stuck out to me as being odd. I realize that our goal is to confuse the scum and all, but he's literally using that as a defense. That's not "appearing scummy winkwinknodnod," that's actually appearing scummy and then claiming "It's on purpose," failing to either act scummy or help the Town. And then just now, there's this: I know Li'l Hinck usually points me out for doing this, but there's two different fonts in this post.

    The man chuckled pleasantly at the compliment. "Yes, the church of Mercutio, and my own Information gathering and selling crew. If you'd like to talk business, we should go out in the alley right outside the Bank. My informants meet me there when I need them. We can go there now if you'd like." He finished what he was doing at the pedestal and stepped down. "Yes, that would be great." replied the awe-struck Party leader. "Alright." He said, smiling and leading the crew out of the Vault, passed the Banker who smiled at the Marty and the group, and out of the bank into the alley. The Alley was dark from the clouds circling overhead, but it hadn't yet started raining, much to the painted lady's relief. "So, you're from Dastan, right?" Asked Marty conversationally. "Fine country... But, I guess you came here for business. 50 gold and I'll tell you everything I know about the takeover, including my sources." He said politely, but officially. "I always tell the truth, and I always obey my clients' wishes." OoC: You'll get back all the money you've been spending to get people to talk fairly soon I think. I'm not going to rob you blind and not reciprocate in enemy loot.

It is not counted as gold currently. "Alright." sighed the Banker. The group, at each-others throats, descended the set of stairs that lead to the vaults. At the end of the Hallway, they found one vault left open. Within the very large secret room, the party could see several rows of pews, rich-looking candelabras, and a variety of Mercutio-related symbols and relics. In the center of the room, counting a very large pocket of gold, stood, alone, the man the party all assumed to be Marty the Face... And they could tell why he was called "The Face." His high-cheeks and perfect button-nose appeared to be carved from marble by a godly statue-maker. He had dark, well-defined eye-brows and silky, chin-length black hair. He sported an aristocratic goatee on his strong, masculine chin, and wore a debonair grin. He was clearly human, but he was quite handsome, and charismatic looking. When the ladies in the party pulled their gaze away from his face, they saw he was wearing a rather rich-looking outfit under tight leather armour on his slender but muscular frame. "Oh, Hello," he stated pleasantly, looking up from his work, smiling with his pearly-white teeth, "And who might you be?"

    That's a shame, but Alex'll be taking the free hit, and his free hits are halved by the armour, and halved again by the row. subtract 13 from that and he'll be taking 7.5 damage, or 8.

The Tail's gunna have to stay for the longest, but it also weakens his attack everybody attacks, so I'll not look that gift tail in the mouth too much. Also, we need to destroy 3 rubble pieces per turn. Alex, you're going to take 8 damage. Don't ever lose that armour." "Just... just go see Marty now." he finished, moving some papers around, and depositing Karie's 3 coins. "He's in the open vault down the stairs and at the end of the Hallway." The banker sighed. "Look, I'm sorry the war affected you so, but that's no reason to threaten to torture me when I had just explained the prosecution and fear we're forced to live under to your employer. I hardly think that being a veteran justifies treating others like prisoners of war." he finished, looking disgusted.

    The Banker frowned deeply upon hearing Drake's uncalled-for comments. "What did you say your name was?" He asked Drake slowly and deliberately as he reconcealed the list of names and fiddled with something behind the counter. He looked as if he had just swallowed a live scorpion. "And where did you say you were from?" the sound of a liquid pouring onto paper could be heard behind his wooden desk.
