REVIEW: 853195 Brick Calendar
XimenaPaulina replied to Mariann Asanuma's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thanks for sharing this very unique supplemental set Mariann! It's actually the first time I've known about this, and it looks like to a nice brick calendar to have even if the build is on the basic side, but I'm sure it can be modified to look better. The two minifigs are nice bonuses too, though I would've preferred to have them taken out of the set to slice 4-5 bucks off the price. -
The Unexpected Treasure
XimenaPaulina replied to Stormbringer's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
A very entertaining series of MOCs Stormbringer! I love the sequence of the builds, it must've taken you some time to complete this with all the building and taking photos in between. A great story from start to finish, excellent work once again! -
MOC: Adventure Plane
XimenaPaulina replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I really like the color scheme of this one, the dark tan-brown combo does give the plane a vintage 'earthy' feel and it blends well with the sandy dessert surroundings. Very well done once again Pep! -
Welcome to the forums de Gothia and thanks for sharing this MOC of yours. That is one nice-looking castle village with lots of busy scenes. Very good job!

Another quality creation LL, you sure have a knack for unique and interesting detailing as evidenced by the small temple, arch, mini-bridge. And of course those Japanese cranes are lovely. Great job once again!
-
An excellently-built castle with lots of great details, nice work on the landscaping too, a very impressive job overall LL!
-
Another very well done creation Stormbringer, you sure have some nice 'flame-building' skills as the flames look very effective in this scene. Great job!
-
Oh marshal_banana, you tease! I'm excited to see the rest of the photos of this outstanding piece of beauty.

Wow, what a very impressive creation Stormbringer! I'm a fan of the show and I could really say that the lab. is very realistic with all the various scientific gadgetry and experimental stuff around, and even Adam and Jamie look accurate in minifig version. Extremely well done overall, thanks for sharing this with us!

Very nice response JD, I love those gym equipment that you did, too bad Oky doesn't know how to use the simple treadmill.

Since I was stuck with the first Pokemon season, I'm not quite familiar with most of these newer pocket monsters, but they are all very well done like your previous ones Stormbringer! Feraligatr and the Rhydon takes the cake for me in this batch.

I love that small "hand-painted" Iraqi flag and print detail, well of course the whole tank is a great build in itself. Excellent job!
-
Simple but very effective vig, it really conveys the "ran-over" jeep quite convincingly. Good job!
-
I'm very impressed with the unconventional (and "illegal") building techniques you've used in this build, particularly the tricky angling of some of the parts. The blue-white color scheme look fresh too. Great work Piotr!

Nice one Lego Otaku, funny and true at the same time.

Thanks for another very well done review Dunjohn! I really like a lot of elements this set has to offer, from the interesting large quarter circle pieces to the nicely-detailed printing of the farmer victim, the parts are quite useful for MOCing. An above average rating for me!

That's the first thing I thought too (though dragon-style instead of bird's feathers). A really nice personal dragon flying wings - everything is done while not being overly large, just perfect for minifig-size. Great job Pep!
-
Very ingenious use of the fishing pole for the Spyder Rhyder, and I simply love the overall design of the Manta Speeder, particularly the rotating rear part. Excellent work as always Rook!

Wonderful review CloneyO, thanks for sharing! This is one of my most favorite sets of the Cars line, simply because, as said in the review, Guido and Luigi are two of the cutest characters in this Cars theme, and it's a good thing they come in a relatively small set that makes them easier and cheaper to purchase. A definite must-buy for me.

Another impressive build Hoexbroe! I simply love that 2CV. (Gives me an idea how to make a VW Beetle for myself). Great cars, even better scene, excellent job overall!

The Archeological Vessel is a good idea, and I'd really like to see a Catamaran as well, like this one: Catamaran Ferry by The Yellow Brick A small luxury yacht will also be a good exclusive set IMO. Just wishful thinking and maybe TLG would consider doing these as sets.

Very nice EXO suit, I really like the effective combination of the HF/Bionicle parts with the 'normal' LEGO pieces in this build, not 'too overpowering' but complements each other very well. Good job!

I love theat final poster! Thanks for sharing another review of this great Alien Conquest set. Seeing the Tripod Invader at different angles makes me appreciate more the build, no matter how simple it might be, it still looks effective and reminiscent of classic alien tripods we've seen in movies.
