Haha, that's very funny! Nice job on your version of these scene 'anakev'! You managed to put two epic scenes in one shot. The humor makes this entry very special, and this might be your advantage in the competition. Hope it works well for you.

Great job Tereglith! You managed to make a huge ship explode on a very small-scale diorama. Also gotta love all those 'black leather' in the background. Though the scene is not as epic as other 'epic scenes' from SW, you still gave justice on that scene.

That wasn’t a laser blast. Something hit us.

I LOVE IT!!! A very nice MOC you did there marshal banana, great job! You really captured the space battle scene pretty well on a very small scale. I like how you made the ships and the asteroids float through the black base, very clever! And the TIEs and MF are simply cute! -
Good job on the review 'mischa'. Seeing your review makes me nostalgic of the early days of SW sets. I wasn't able to get this set back then, so its nice to see someone make a review of this one. This was, IMO, this is one of the better designed sets back then, considering the fewer assortment of pieces.

Complete Star Wars Minifigure Collection
XimenaPaulina replied to Special K's topic in LEGO Star Wars
There was the official poster of all the LSW minifigs that was released last year. But of course, it's not anymore updated since TLG released new figs this year. And I don't think that there will be official photos since new figs are always being done every year. Maybe you could check the "Show your Army" Thread here in the SW forum, there might be a few collectors out there who might have photos of their complete SW minifigs. -
Immolation- the end of Anakin Skywalker
XimenaPaulina replied to Fat Tony's topic in Watto's Junkyard
^^^ Wow that's even better, still finding ways to improve an already-stunning entry! Until now I am still amazed on the glowing-lava lighting effect. Staring at the pic makes me feel like I'm actually there in the scene (just like an IMAX movie) -
From the pics it looks like the quality is not that good, there are remaining plastics from the molds. I have already purchased some of these from ebay, particularly the DC-15As for my clone army. But the quality of the DC-15As I got was LEGO-quality. I wonder how this happened? They have almost the same identical design but significant difference in quality. Are there two (or more) manufacturers for these weapons? And they are just using the same mold and just differ in quality?

Yet another masterpiece from AC, great job once again! Reminds me of the Captain Hook's flying ship in Peter Pan.

Another great MOC brickdoctor! Your version of the speeder bike is 100x better than the TLG one. However, IMO, the positioning of the scout's legs just seem unnatural (in a LEGO-way) for me because the legs are noticeably detached from the body. I also noticed you used this technique in your AT-RT. But I fully understand your intention on why you did this, because it is really hard to get that "biker's leg position" in LEGO.

It's a good MOC Burman, though I'm not so sure about the Sarlacc, I think it's a bit small and dull, maybe you could make it look bigger, meaner, and scarier. Also, it's quite noticeable that the printings in Boba Fett are stickers and not the authentic 'Cloud City Boba Fett'.

It's a nice start for your entry Pirate Pete, though you could still improve it. Like what everyone else said, put more plants, trees, bushes. Also, since the burning took place at night, use a black background rather than a white one to set a 'darker somber atmosphere'. Then maybe you could highlight the flames using Photoshop to emphasize the 'burning-at-night'-effect.

Excellent job ISC! This has got to be one of my favorite entries so far! You've got my vote on this one. I love how you did the plant lifeforms, especially how you creatively transformed the different assortment of non-plant pieces into the lush vegetation of Felucia. It's also nice to see you used Arealight's Aayla rather than the TLG one. Great job once again and good luck in the competition!

Excellent shots fenris. I simply love the worm's eyeview of the scout troopers with the ewok gliding in the background trees. Stunningly brilliant!

This white Boba Fett is far less interesting compared to the Chromed C3-POs and Darth Vader from the previous years. So an average rating is fair enough.

<jaw dropped upon seeing this MOC> WOOOWWWW! Totally awesome dude... A lot is happening in each and every corner of the palace. This is just pure sheer genius.

Simple, creepy, yet funny! Nice one freakwave!

Yeah, it's bad we can't get all of the Toy Story characters, but it's understandable for TLG not to do the other 'minor' ones. AFAIK, the only major characters are the ones appearing in the poster. TLG already gave us 7 out of the 11 major characters (checked green), which ain't bad at all. So Mr. & Mrs. Potato Head, Slinky Dog, and Barbie are the only ones we're missing. Of course it would be great to have 'em all, but it would be asking too much from TLG to 'make a move' for these 'licensed characters'.

Fantastic job on the Gotham Park 'BatBrick'! I particularly love the Man-eating plant and the giant Poison Ivy throne.
-
Job well done AllanSmith! The scale is terrific and spot-on with regular CITY trucks. Maybe you could do the other "Cars" as well? Probably McQueen or Mater?
-
It's not a matter of whether TLG can make a minifig-scale AT-AT or not, but whether they can sell the set. Such minifig-scale AT-AT would be very very expensive, and I don't think it would be very feasible sales-wise since only a few rich collectors would be able to afford that.
-
I like the blue truck better, the color is cool to the eyes. Plus, 2 more figs and a tiny store on the sides. Not bad at all.
-
I love how you did the battle droid and STAP on that scale, nice work brickdoctor! Your MOC is one of the most original I have seen lately since I rarely see MOCs of that scale.
-
Not a bad job there Admiral Ron, actually I like it! Especially how you manage to get the right look of Grand Admiral Thrawn. Just curious, from what set did you get the blue head? I can't seem to remember where that head came from.
