Welcome to Eurobricks Attorney Blackice! I'm sure you'll enjoy it in here, this is the perfect place to unwind after hours in law school. There is no single EB contest page, but there are several contests in each subforum. As an example, there is currently an on-going Epic Scene contest in the Star Wars forum, pls. do check it out. Other subforums also regularly hold contests for members. -
Holy Lord.... WOW... as in freakin' WOW.... This has got to be one of the best MOCs I've seen so far, I can't seem to find the right superlatives to describe this majestic piece of art. I'm most impressed of the fact that the concept is so unique, you went "out-of-the-box" and not just made a simple scene but you managed to put multiple scenes in 1 entry. I correct myself from my earlier post. I though the contest for the large-scale category was over when I saw ACPin's entry, now we have a 'ballgame'.

Well, I'm not really the best person to consult regarding this since I'm no IT expert, I just know that flickr accepts both .jpg and .jpeg files. I once tried uploading .bmp files but it wasn't accepted. Anyways, here comes KimT to the rescue. He'll surely be able to help you.

Nicely done darth yogi! The AT-RTs are definitely the highlight of this one.
-
Nicely done 501st! I like the conveyor belts, and the hanging Capt. Rex. Good luck in the competition!

That's much better brickfoot! It's good you added "Palpatine", but you should've used the actual Palpatine minifig. Palpatine looks very Luke to me, just doesn't look right IMO.

Snow White and the seven dwarfs on Endor.
XimenaPaulina replied to Ar Sparfel's topic in Watto's Junkyard
Very interesting vig Ar Sparfel, even though it is a small entry it's "fully-loaded", I actually love this one. I like how you built the forest base, it's very unique since you did not rely on the basic horizontal baseplate. And the trees and bushes are also good. I hope you do well in the contest. Good luck! -
Yoda confronts the new Emperor Epic Scenes medium

That's a great idea for your entry 'mookage'! Interestingly, I though of this one also if I had the chance to join the contest. Though the construction of your senate pods is not what I envisioned it to be. To suggest some improvements: - Maybe you could make the pods more circular, larger, and smoother. - As much as possible, limit the color of the pod to light/dark bleys. -
Great entry Drath Lion! Great construction of the throne room, and the two-room scene is a pretty clever idea. Though the choice of scene might not be that popular to voters compared to other entries, but your good build makes up for it. Hope you do well in the contest. Good luck!
-
That's a good entry 'Sir Gecko'! Great construction of the bridgeway - the hanging effect of the three pillars/columns over the lava. Good luck in the contest!
-
Try using flickr, with jpg file extension, that's what I use to deeplink pics. Hope to see your entry soon.
-
That's a better entry than your previous one. Though you could still improve it (it's still a WIP as you siad), hope your entry does well in the contest, 'coz there's lots of good ones out there. Best of luck!
-
That's it. Contest is over for the large scale category. Seriously this entry should win. Among your three entries, this is the one I like the most. The architecture is absolutely stunning, the minifigs are great, and the presentation is simply fantastic. Congratulations AC!
-
That's a good entry 'brickfoot'! The footprint effect is unique and clever indeed. Though HOTH scenes have been recreated so many times before, so this might affect your chances. But still, that's a good entry and good luck in the contest!
-
NICE. Really Nice. Another impressive MOC 'Brickdoctor'! It's a cute little cruiser yet the design is so complex for such a small-scaled ship. Great job on that one!
-
WHOA! That thing is so massive! I didn't realize the actual size until you compred it to your wingspan. That's just....

The Force Unleashed II: "Lazer's power unleashed"
XimenaPaulina replied to LazerBlade's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Excellent MOC 'CloneCommanderXD'! I simply love the greebling details of the room. And the flying force effect - absolutely stunning! Great job! -
It's a good entry Jammiedodger, it's simple yet you managed to capture the scene very well. But you could still improve it with addition of more details, or maybe you could customize the clones with blue markings for a more authentic look? A darker lighting in the background might also help, since in the scene in the movie happend at night.

That's a great version of the Juggernaut 'ACPin', excellent job once again! Your build is much much better than the official CTT. I especially liked how you got the right look of the cockpit, not just wedge plates-put-together like in the official one.

Thanks for detailed and comprehensive review Clone O' Patra! I personally like this set, one of the really must-haves for any SW fans. 6 minifigures in one little set? That's already a winner, and the speeder is also a much much improved version of the first one. And the sales figures tell it all, really one of the best sellers. So for me, this is really an outstanding set, as outstanding as your review.

The only significant difference in the design is the shadow print below the chest plate. I don't really know the real reason behind the change, but these might be the possible reasons (just speculation and without any factual basis): - The new torso print is easier to print than the older ones. (Quality Control) - The new torso print is cheaper than the older ones. (Cost) - The new torso print is closer to the real look of the stormtrooper chest plates. (Aesthetics)

What a cute little mini-ARC-170. Nice job J4ke!
